I meant to post this review a month or so back to share my experience when I saw someone had posted their bad experience on Facebook and Kenya's different aliases and companies and it was being shared and it came across my feed. I originally found her company on a property management website and when I met her she introduced herself as Kennedy. She did get a tenant in my property very fast but after the first month things went array. She was always late paying me and it always came with an excuse. Unfortunately, when I first found the company All About Real estate there were no reviews because she had just started the company. I remember asking about reviews and she told me people don't praise you when you do a good but they review you when they have negative experiences. When my payments started to come in later and later, I started seeing Yelp reviews about All About Realestate (Kennedy) and her previous company 2nd to None Management (Kenya). I also found multiple court cases against her. I knew at that point what was going on but I felt cornered because I found she really did not file the permit paper thru PG County that I paid her for and the lease was with the property manager and tenant. However, one month she was extremely late and she was not returning my phone calls, texts and emails. I went to the website that I found her on and put in my information to checkout other property managers. When I reached out to one company called Pillar to Post LLC, she (Kenya aka Kennedy aka Latrease) answered the phone! She recognized my number and she called me back like 2 minutes later and gave me an excuse about another tenant messing up the account(after not calling or texting me back for days). She did give me the money for the rent but I decided that I would no longer do business with her, but I need the deposit back. I emailed, called, and texted about the deposit and she did not respond at all. A week went by and I went on Yelp and posted a review under Pillar to Post and All About Realestate on that Friday, listing the previous companies and her various aliases. The so called business owner Derrick/Latrease sent me an email threating legal action if I did not remove my review on Saturday morning. I never responded and Kenya then contacted me Sunday morning at 5am (after a week of no responses) via text saying that was not her company and her employees were stealing from her and she would give me the deposit and asked if I would take down the reviews. She gave me the deposit back to quiet me because I had exposed her new scam that was just taking off. She end up contacting Yelp and had my review removed. I washed my hands because I got all my money back (she also gave me the $ for the PG county permit) and I moved on. I do regret not trying to post my review again. I found a multitude of court cases against her so at the time I was just going to take a lost on the money but I was in the process of filing a complaint with the Maryland State Attorney when she decided to give me the deposit back. read more

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. Or with Latrice Tebron, whose real name is Kenya Latreese Hunter. Latrice has not returned my phone calls or replied to my e-mails. She has not provided an explanation why there's a delay on the disbursement of two months worth of rental payment to my bank account. Up to now, I haven't received the rental payments and afraid won't received it. Save yourself from headaches, stress!!! This company is a nightmare. I can't still believe their business is still running. If I could only give negative stars!!! read more

DO NOT SIGN A PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY. They have no intention of honoring their contract and will cost you money. I FIRED THEM within 120 days of our signed contract. They refuse to return any calls, voicemail, or emails. At this point, to get my security deposits and rent due, I believe legal action is my only option. 60 days - Time to receive your rental income after the renter has paid rent. 55 days - Time to list condo for rent when first informed the renter would move. 50 days - Time from a repair request to schedule a repair. 3 times - Times Pillar to Post, LLC broke the contract we signed. The employees didn't even know they were breaching the contract. Pillar to Post Property Services will tell you whatever you want to hear to sign with them. Never - Time it takes Pillar to Post to return calls or emails. Usually, my calls and emails were ever returned. When I did get a hold of them, I had to brief them on my email because they never read it. Then they would just listen and hang up. (No results). read more

My experience with Pillar to Post has been miserable, and has caused my family incredible distress. Pillar to Post manages my family's one rental property, my parents' sole source of retirement income. Pillar to Post has received the security deposit and two months of rent from my tenant (for January and February 2016, for which I have documentation from the tenant), but has kept the money and refused to send it to me. At the same time, they locked me out of my online account, so that I could not view my account financials. Whatever IT issues they have had have been resolved, yet they have not transmitted payment, or given me access to my account. They are simply stealing money owed to me. For two months, I called their property manager and owner, Latrice Tabron, over 50 times, and emailed 15 times. Not a single call was returned, and only one email was returned (that email was to arrange a call, but Latrice subsequently missed the appointment). The problem (stolen rent) would only have grown had I not fired Pillar to Post recently, and contacted the tenant to have rent paid to me directly. Pillar to Post still owes me the two months of rent plus the security deposit. Pillar to Post refuses to reply to my repeated contact or arrange for payment on rent plus deposit that they acknowledge they have received from the tenant. Their failure to transmit payment, failure to report financials, and failure to maintain communication, is a breach of contract of the services they provide, which I paid for with management fees, and is ILLEGAL. I'm taking legal action, collections action, and action with the Better Business Bureau. If you have any questions about Pillar to Post, please feel free to email me. Pillar to Post has been an extremely disappointing property management experience. I signed a property management agreement with them in September 2015 and it has been a very difficult experience. First, they were very non-communicative and non-responsive during the leasing process. Then they executed a lease in our name that did not meet the standards we had agreed upon. Then they failed to get the power correctly transferred to our tenants, costing us time and money in the two months it took to resolve the matter ourselves. Then they simply fell off the planet, taking our February 2016 rent and our security deposit with them. They haven't returned any messages for weeks and have not remitted our rental money to us. I recommend that no one ever use this company. read more

In my personal experience, Kenya was constantly paying me after the 10th as per contract. I or the tenant could hardly reach her. One month it went past the 20th and I just could not get a return phone call. My tenant had all her receipts and she was paying on time. I fired her and when I contacted her for the deposit, she did not return any phone calls, texts, or emails. In addition, I paid her to file a permit thru Prince Georges County. I asked various times for the copy of the permit and she always claimed she would send it. In the end, I found the paperwork was not even filed. This left me vulnerable if the tenant had stopped paying rent. I started the process to file court papers and I could not find a good address to serve her papers. In the process I discovered the name she gave me was false and she had different alias and had opened and closed multiple businesses. I found around $128,000 worth of lawsuits brought against Kenya/ her aliases and the different companies on Maryland Court Cases. Aimme - PTP Management Services (est. 2016) Latrease - Pillart to Post (est. 2015) Kennedy - All About Realestate (est. 2014) Kenya aka Odessa - 2nd to None Management (est. approx. 2012-2013) It is very disturbing because when I met with her she seemed to be very knowledgeable and provided me with great information. She was offering low management fees. It never dawned on me to ask her for ID. The first month she paid me on time and then it was downhill from there. In addition, I provided her my SSN information to file a paperwork for my taxes. This also was never filed with the IRS. I also gave her a second set of keys as requested to my property. Unfortunately I've had the same experience as everyone else. The company did a good job with finding qualified tenants and giving me my rental income the FIRST month since hiring them; but since then I've had to hunt them down. If anyone has filed a small business claim- please let me know- I'd like to join you. If anyone had fired PTP Management Services and found a qualified property manager - please let me know! If there was a no stars category this would be deserving os it. Latrice, Tia, Evette are all names of persons at this company that I have dealt with. Phone numbers are disconnected and emails don't work. They failed to turn over my June rent from my tenants and have been unreachable. They seem to have several open cases in PG county District court. They all seemed really nice at the initial meeting, but buyer beware......Very negative experience. I began renting from P2P in August of 2015, I was told the home would be cleaned, deck stained and in move in condition. The unit at 7702 lucky lure drive in Clinton was dirty, all blinds were packed with grease, the refrigerator and cabinets had mold in them. the floors had juice, paint and urine stains from pets. The home was a mess, I will never rent from them again. I am in the process of breaking my lease and suing them now. Nothing was ever repaired or fixed until I called PG county and the owner received violations. They will not see another dime from me. read more

Terrible...they do not return calls, emails, messages from a live service, nothing! They talked a good game at first to get my business but were so negligent afterwards and had not stopped! Do not, I repeat do not work with Pillar to Post or PTP management company!! Latrice Tabron/Tia Witherspoon. I recently discovered that the company have been scamming my husband & I out of thousands of dollars ($10k) to be exact!! From the beginning we would receive our rent payments late on the 20th and sometimes later than that!! Finally in December we stopped receiving payments at all. From December through April we received nothing. Latrice & the company led us to believe that the tenant wasn't paying rent and that they were going through the eviction process to get her out of our home. We learned after being contacted by the tenant directly that she I fact had been paying(she had copies of receipts). Back in January I started asking the company for documentation that the eviction process had began & that's when they started ignoring our calls, emails, text messages, etc. My husband & I are outraged that she would steal from us. The lack of professionalism and costumer service is ridiculous. We are currently seeking legal advice and trying to sue her to get our money back!! Avoid this company. They lie, steal & do not manage properties. If I could leave zero stars I would. read more

As an update to my first review. Even though I did not think that thing could get worse they have. I now can not even contact Pillar to Post to fire them. I recently contacted my tenant and they will now pay me directly. P to P owes me three months of back rent and the security deposit. The tenant provided me with proof of payment so I can say for sure that P 2 P is just stealing money from me. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. read more

We entered an agreement with this company to manage our property. We only received 1 payment from them on time, and that was the first month's rent. All other payments were either late or not received at all. And I truly believe it was due to the property management company - not the renter. They were unprofessional from the start. They didn't come to scheduled appointments on time, didn't communicate timely on changes to our agreement, nor have they returned emails and phone calls in a timely manner. We've since submitted our 60 day notice. Please stay clear of this company as they are not dependable and appear to be scam artists. I would've given "0" stars if possible. read more

These reviews are clearly written by a company representative. To say they are awful is an understatement. I cancelled my contract with them after a little over two months due to lack of communication and having my money deposited into my account late for both months. Latrice is never available and responds to e-mails every three weeks. They claim to have collected a maintenance deposit for repairs but failed to address them when they came up. This company doesn't deserve even 1 star. I signed up with them in June of 2015. Old tenant moved out and new tenant moved in August 2015. The tenant was late with the rent in September, October, and November 2015. Never a call or email from them until I got fed up and called them in mid-month every time asking where my rent check was. Here it is March of 2016 and I have not seen the rent for January, February, or March. No calls. No emails. My calls and emails to them go unanswered. One person has actually picked up the phone but told me she is not a person in authority and could not answer my questions. She even offered to hang up on me if I asked another question. I have since contact another management company, but PTP won't even give me the phone number of my current tenant to tell them the management company has changed. I have also engaged an attorney to sue for the missing rent and the unpaid late fees. Probably have to get an attorney to sue PTP for the documents on the property. Still don't have a 1099 or expense report to file 2015 taxes. Please spare yourself the angst and DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!! read more

I couldn't be more pleased about my experience with these guys. They are quickly turning what used to be an old school business into one that is highly automated. I appreciate the online portal, electronic payments and paperless "green" process. Best of all, COMMUNICATION, COMMUNICATION, COMMUNICATION - we struggled initially but they were always receptive to my concerns and accountable for their part and it has been smooth snailing every since. Overall, highly recommend. Would give them 10 stars if I could. read more

Pillar to Post is the worst company I've ever done business with. I am renting a property in which they managed. During the 'sales phase' I was led to believe they were well organized and were effective at managing properties. I thought I had stumbled across a gem.. Well when I finally signed my lease, I was totally wrong. When I first moved in they completely mishandled so many details. I ended up having a serious plumbing issue and they never responded to my persistent calls and emails for help. It was awful. They would take a message and lie that they would get back to me but NEVER did. But they were always punctual with sending me invoices for the rent!! I started to wonder if they were even a legit business at all. Thankfully the owner of the property ended her agreement with them and has handled matters herself so much more efficiently. Her home is beautiful and I am so glad to be living there without Pillar to Post managing it. read more

Pillar to post has been an absolute nightmare of a company to deal with. They have violate every term of our property management contract and have not paid us our rent and have been ignoring our daily phone calls and emails. I have filed a lawsuit against them and have reported them to better business Buero. During the 12 months of working with them, we got dragged to the court by our tenants due to the negligence of Pillar to Post to act upon maintenance issues and properly communicate to the tenants on our behalf. I had to finally take control over responding to tenants needs myself because Pillar to Post will cause more work that be of help in any situation. I found out that they had lied to me by saying they have filed a rental license for my property and charged us for it. Please do not sign a contract with them and spread the word all over social media so that they can shut down completely. read more
