We stopped here for gas because the price was really good. I also went inside to use the restroom which was ok and could have been a bit cleaner. This travel center has showers, restrooms and laundry services. They also have a Subway and Cinnabon to get food from, as well as typical gas station grab and go items. Absolutely incredible! Went on a Saturday, one of the heaviest travel days of the week, to get 2, 40lb and 1 100 lb propane tanks filled. Pilot has such incredibly poor service they really shouldn't still be in business. It isn't just this one, it's ALL of them I've been to in the last 6 years. I try to avoid them, but sometimes I have do minimum business with this FAR less than professional or competent business. read more

If you're traveling by the Toltec Road exit, #209, on I-10 you'll find signs for Xpress Fuel aka Pilot Travel Center. It's much easier to spot the Xpress Fuel signs and I don't think I've ever noticed a reference to Pilot Travel Center. Just about every weekend I make the trip to Tucson from Phoenix and the Pilot Travel Center has become my regular stop on the way to and from. It's just about half way between my home and my relatives I go to visit. The restrooms are clean (Yay!) and the store is well-stocked with just about everything you'd need during a road trip. There's a great selection of snacks and beverages along with pre-made sandwiches, hot dogs on the rollers and if I remember correctly Pizza. I can't comment on the food because my dad always told me you don't buy your gas at a restaurant so you shouldn't buy your food at a gas station. The food might be good though. When I have been hungry they've always had a snack that hit the spot. Today it was Peanut Butter Chocolate Trail Mix. YMMV They also have showers for the over-the-road truck drivers although I'm assuming anyone who wants to pay to use them can. The times I've bought gas there the fuel seemed reasonably priced. read more

During our two week road trip, we stopped by so many travel centers. This Pilot Travel Center in Eloy, Arizona was one of the better ones. They have a Dairy Queen and a Subway sandwich shop inside the travel center. Yummy donuts sold here too. Restrooms were clean. Service was okay. Overall, they are a good pitstop if you are in the area. read more

Pilot (Flying J) are always great to stop at for fuel, breaks, snacks or souvenirs. They usually have one of the common eating places connected to them and they are generally good. From time to time some need a little TLC, but generally they're ok. If you have a rewards card you can get special offers, and 3¢ off of every gallon of gas at the pumps. It's not much, but every little bit helps. read more

I use to stop here often on my way from Tucson to Phoenix, and would usually get SUBWAY to eat on the road. This visit did not involve Subway, lol. The first think I noticed was that this travel stop/truck stop has held up pretty well. The floors are clean, and the shelves were stocked and front/faced. The bathroom was... it could have been cleaner...but not too bad. The register line was long, and some one came and opened another register. The bread and butter for this place is the truckers who stop, fuel, shower and buy things....and time is of the essence for them. All in all...a pretty good fuel/food/bathroom stop. Yes who the f*!k would write a review for a Pilot in Eloy. This guy!! I travel back and forth to Phoenix a lot, and I pee / ice tea stop here. I just want to see this place has the most rocking counter stuff. They are a mix of townies, crack head; splash that with the worst of Courtney Love and a pinch of Larry the Cable guy. They will NOT accommodate any requests. I saw some very tatt'd up hipster young lady arguing with them about the lack of courtesy water cups for her dog. Priceless. In addition they have a Subway and Dairy Queen, case and point. Also check out the rotating display of semi cooked meat selection. It is super weird they have some very questionable mystery meats, let me know if you eat any? On a brighter note the place is always clean. Truckers seem to enjoy their showers. They have good brewed ice tea. I am little weirded out by the metal containers for the tea, possible dysentery? But we all take risks in life. All in all a nice slice of whisky tango Americana. Worst experience I have ever had as a driver so far. I go in and go to the subway line and see that there are melts on the menu. I ask to get a foot long melt and both ladies said ok no problem. We get to the cheese and they put one layer which with the melt you get three. Then the manager comes up , does t say hello how are you or nothing just says we have no melts and I can't get it even though it's on the menu. Then he charges me 17.87 cents for my sandwich . I said this is $6 more and would have never gotten this if there was no melt. I asked can you take it off the menu? He just ignored me and looked like he didn't want to be there. There is no such thing good service anymore. No one forced you to work at subway. Either do your job correctly or don't do it all. Makes me not want to come to pilot or subway at all honestly . Loves employees have a little pride at least . Very disappointed and this review does the situation any justice . read more

They have a very good salad bar. Their buffet is OK but nothing special. We eat here regularly and prefer ordering off the menu. We have never been served a bad steak. Their restrooms are exceptionally clean. Remember to as for your senior discount. read more
