When we arrived to set up, the space was very clean, and the set up was perfect. There were three 12 foot tables with chairs for everyone. The bar at the entrance was perfect for the lunch buffet. Behind the bar was enough space for the drinks. They also had a kitchen if you needed extra work space. The staff at the Commune were all very professional, friendly and very responsive to any emails and phone calls. I highly recommend this space for any type of party , meeting, or workspace.

I spent five days in Austin and came back to the spot twice! Has the best vibes, great staff, cool swag (love the Sunday bag and country club shirts)and a great beverage selection. Depending on the time that you go, there might be a wait, so grab a drink and enjoy practicing chipping, putting, cornhole, or socializing. The course has fun billboards (Caddyshack and Ron ) and comical Greenskeepers. I was impressed by how nice the greens are. Honestly, much better than some of my local 18 public courses! Restrooms are clean and easy to access. Two unisex so plan accordingly :) I cannot emphasize enough, how amazing their customer service is. This is a great spot run by great people.

I also got a ton of free products from the Bloom Nutrition "booth". The waiting/gathering area was cute and I was able to get a spot by the office where folks sign up for a round. Based on what others told me that day, they had a large high school group come in & back up everyone else. The wait was several hours long. Next time they should have just closed the business for the whole day, half day, or just until the large group finished the course. This way others are not inconvenienced. Otherwise, I feel like it'd be a fun experience with great views and I can't wait to come here with family or friends!

The Norris Conference Center is on Anderson Lane nestled next to the Walmart shopping center (somewhat hidden.) The reception was in the main ballroom with food served in a side room. The conference center appears to be ideal for corporate events, special occasions, and meetings. It is spacious with all the amenities you would expect at conference center, i.e., tables with linens, audio visuals, DJ section, spacious room, etc. The ballroom had a large screen projector, space for a DJ, raised stage and an audio-visual (AV) system. The food was a hit and miss. The chicken piccata was delicious. The vegetables and rice were a bit bland. The staff was very attentive, removing plates and utensils quickly. There were several times when the microphone was not working. I was not able to tell if the right AV folks were present or if this is a pervasive issue. Because the conference center is in a shopping center, there is ample free parking. I have been to Norris Conference many times over the years and find it to be a well-maintained facility.

Each year, the neighborhood is transformed into an 18-hole mini golf adventure. There are prizes for "best hole," "bessed dressed," and "best hand-built putter." You play at your own pace and in whatever order you choose as you bounce from one bar to the next. The craftsmanship and creativity of the holes is quite impressive -- definitely exceeded my expectations. We even made some friends as our respective paths crossed several times as we navigated the course. This event was a ton of fun and I'll definitely be looking out for notifications for next year's.

We even called the golf shop during the round to ask about the pace, and were basically told there wasn't anything they could do about it. It seemed like the course was very understaffed -- one person was trying to run the golf shop while also cleaning carts, so there was really no one available to be out on the course helping manage pace. On top of that, the snack bar area was closed at around 2 PM, so there was no option to grab food or drinks during the round. The course itself is fine -- nothing terrible, but nothing special either. It's a pretty average muni layout. The bigger issue was everything around the golf itself. Basic things you expect at a course like pace management, food/drink availability, and overall staffing just weren't there, and it took away from the entire experience.

In a super convenient location only a few minutes south of the Westlake location. Lots of parking as it's in a little strip mall. Location itself is huge inside. Have 4 bays all equipped with the high tech video systems and soundproof walls. Also have the first hydraulic putting green I've seen which is awesome for putting practice on different slopes etc. coaching staff is wonderful, super nice and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this place to any golfer whether tenured or just starting out!
