I'm also providing an update on my situation with the replacement Quattro cleaner I received in March 2024. (See my previous review.) First off, hats off to Marco for going ABOVE AND BEYOND for me relative to this product! I'm not sure anyone else would have made this much effort, but he truly values his longtime customers. The new Quattro did not even last 20 months! Starting in September, I noticed the cleaner was not climbing the pool walls properly. It then no longer rotated and would stall at the steps. Marco has been trying to discover what is at the center of this malfunction for several months, replacing various parts in an attempt to get it to work properly. He contacted his local Fluidra representative and they first said the Quattro was out of warranty. Marco would not take that position as a final answer. He requested the manufacturer send an entire new set of "guts" and he replaced every part FREE OF CHARGE. Sadly, the Quattro still does not run properly. I'll be looking to buy a new cleaner in the Spring, but Marco was not finished. He is working with the representative to see what discount I would receive on a future Quattro should I decide to stay with this manufacturer. (Not sure I will do that given the quality problems with this cleaner and the fact the manufacturer does not stand behind its defective product.) However, I give Marco extra credit to attempt to get me the best deal possible. Therefore, a huge amount of thanks and gratitude given to Marco and The Pool Pleaser for standing up for their repeat customers. I have pictures and them saying the panel was installed by them. Then they blamed the issue on solar panels being installed after the pool was completed. The panel they installed had a loose hot wire and that caused a SHORT which back-feed power to the main circuit breaker panel on the side of the house and that caught on fire. Look at all the yelp ratings, most are one star for a reason.

After weeks of delays and zero accountability, my pool turned completely green and unusable. I've spent over $300 out of pocket trying to keep it under control with chemicals -- all because they couldn't be bothered to do their job. Then, after I left a polite but honest review, their rep told me they would no longer help and that I should call the manufacturer myself, saying they had "other things to do." They blamed their technician, the equipment, and even me -- anyone but themselves. This company clearly doesn't stand behind their work or care about customers once the sale is done. Avoid at all costs.

Bowles Pools. We cannot say enough good things about them. My wife and I decided to install an…read morein-ground pool at the beginning of this year. We contacted a few companies and got quotes for what we wanted. Most companies gave us quotes of varying prices along with upsale options. We were not feeling good vibes with any of them. After researching on Buildzoom, I came across Bowles Custom Pools &Spas. I liked what I saw so I reached out to them. Craig came to our home and listened closely to what we wanted and noted all of our property situational constraints. They promptly provided us with a competitive quote. We then went to their office where Joel walked us through our selections, and ultimately the contract. The permit was issued on March 13th, and Bowles started work immediately. Victoria the scheduler kept us apprized of every event, so there was no surprise appearances by subcontractors. Building a pool is messy business, but their subcontractors were very conscientious about their impacts. One subcontractor even commended us for choosing Bowles. I requested a Microglass treatment on the pool finish (and I recommend you do the same) and Bowles rapidly accommodated. Patti Bowles was always ready to answer questions or quick to get us answers. On June 13th we were dropping in the hoses and filling it up. The final inspection was completed on June 18th, and we were off and splashing. Bolwes maintain pool service for a month through Dales Gas, another wonderful company who salted the pool and balanced the chemicals. At the end, they gave us a "pool school" which was very helpful. The only issues we had was a need to relocate a downspout on the screen enclosure and a few "nubbies" in the pool finish. Both issues were resolved virtually immediately. Overall, we were very impressed with there performance. Bowles is a no nonsense, no pressure contractor. Having been a contractor myself, I was also impressed with the fact that we received no Notice to Owner from any suppliers or subcontractors. that tells you that they do business on the up and up, and have full confidence from their suppliers and subcontractors.
