We went on a Saturday for lunch, pretty empty! Had a great server. Food was kind of sub par for being seafood in Florida. There was no taste to any of the sides (there were 6 people and we all tried and had the same opinion) . Definitely over priced for the flavor that's being served.

Low key atmosphere that delivers a fun experience. Waitress, Kenzie, was super kind and attentive even though we were some of the last patrons in the restaurant. Food reviews: -Grouper platter was flaky and perfectly cooked. Green beans are super garlicky. Fresh cut fries were good, but were a huge part of the entree. -2 for 1 drinks are a steal. Know you'll get both at once!

I had to take my friend to RSW for a 530 pm check in for a flight. RSW lacks decent food. So, we stopped at this Pinchers a couple of miles away from the airport. We arrived about 410 pm. Nikaji was our very attentive server. I told him we only had 1 hour to eat and he was prompt in getting our orders in. We had some white wine and both had Salmon, one grilled with steak fries and beans and other one blackened with rice and coleslaw. Fish was very fresh and perfectly prepared. A manager came over at the end to inquire if everything was alright. I praised the food and service and told her, "We ate at Deep Lagoon in Naples last week. It is run by same Phelan family. This meal at Pinchers was better and less expensive!" Unfortunately, this Pinchers is not near my home in Naples. If I am in the area, I will certainly return.

Extremely friendly staff. We did the 30 minute call ahead and were seated right away. We sat outside as we had our dog with us. We ordered the seafood tower which was $100 and not bad considering all it came with. Everything was fresh and delicious. We also tried the clam chowder which was nice and creamy.

We visited Pinchers a few times while staying in Fort Myers, and for being a "chain" restaurant, the quality was great (and what caused us to come back a few times, when we usually don't like to repeat dine while on vacation!) The staff we interacted with were wonderful and gave great recommendations based on what we were craving. The ambiance was very laid back and chill, with lots of outdoor seating so you can bask in the gorgeous Florida sun. Over our few visits, the top items we absolutely got hooked on were the Fried Shrimp and the Stone Crab. The shrimp was so flavorful and the breading on the fried version was delicious. The shrimp comes in many formats you can choose, including Boom Boom, Coconut, Buffalo, straight up Grilled, BBQ, and more. Simple and fried was my absolute favorite, but maybe I'll try another style next time we're in Southwest Florida. The Stone Crab is local and freshly caught when in season (it had been caught that same morning when we first had it!). Stone crab is a high caliber crustacean food to begin with, but Pinchers preparation just took it to another level. They were just boiled and seasoned perfectly and served with a tasty, butter mustard sauce. I also had a cocktail (a strawberry daiquiri) and that was super well made and tasted wonderful. Almost dangerous because you couldn't taste the alcohol at all! We will definitely be returning next time we're in the area (we have family nearby, so it won't be too far off). If you're in the proximity of a Pinchers location, definitely give it a try - even though it's a chain, you may be pleasantly surprised!

Becoming an official snowbird later this year, I'm focused on websites, Yelp reviews and personal recommendations for restaurants. A clerk in our hotel suggested Pinchers, and to be blunt, I'm underwhelmed. Perhaps we ordered wrong, but frankly I'm not running back. Calamari was like little fried wee-wees. (Was there any squid in there?) My husband's crab cake was mostly filler, and the grilled shrimp had minimal taste. To substitute a side for a small house or Caesar salad there's a $7 up charge. That seems a bit much, doesn't it?! The restaurant boasts 2 for 1 drinks. T and I started with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon at $9 . But realistically, it was inexpensive wine with little body, worth no more than $4.50 per glass. We then got sangria .... and it was surprisingly good. A shout out to our server Lauren, who's an asset to the restaurant. Helpful, hardworking and friendly!

The soft shell crab tasted like a bowl of oil. No flavor just grease. Very disappointed.

My husband had the Porcini Ravioli with Skirt Steak, I opted for the special of Corvina, which was a amazing white fish similar to a Chilean Bass in a delicious Scampi sauce but not a typical scampi sauce but their house made white sauce, simply amazingly scrumptious!!! It came with grilled Asparagus and mashed potatoes. For dessert we shared a Chocolate Mousse with fresh whipped cream with a popover drizzled with chocolate and so light and fluffy. Our waiter Zach was so pleasant and extremely attentive to make sure we were satisfied but not too bothersome, he was very aware of the specials without looking at a list but from memory, which I appreciated, it showed me he really is excited about what is offered and proud of the specials and made them all sound so delicious !!!!!!!! We will definitely ask for him again, he also spent time to chat as well. I was very excited to give it a try. Friday, March 27th my wife and two friends left Sebring driving the two to Fort Myers to go check out the Clam Bake for some long awaited delicious seafood especially looking forward to some fried Ipswich clams. Entering The Clam Bake, looking around, I saw a very nice variety of Boston Sports teams pictures and memorabilia on the walls. The waiter was prompt though not very personable. The waiters response to the two questions was as i was asking stupid questions. Regarding the food. I ordered a salad with Russian dressing and received Thousand Island dressing. I ordered Fried whole belly clams and a baked potato The baked potato seemed to be a day old left over baked potato reheated. Instead of clams I received Fried Oysters. When I asked they assured me they were clams. My wife ordered Fried Sea Scallops with a baked Sweet potato. She received what looked to have been frozen Sea Scallops (that were just Ok) and a "half" of a small Sweet Potato. I ate the salad as Thousand Island Dressing still tastes good, though I prefer Russian. It would have been nice for the waiter to let me know. I ate the potato as I have many times had cut up left over baked potatoes as home fries, and they are good. I did not eat the oysters. A bus person came by and cleared our dishes., did not ask if my dinner was ok as the oysters were still on my plate. Over all opinion: The decor is New Englandish, Service over all ok. The food is ok. Just don't expect the quality of the seafood to be anywhere as good as what you can find in New England. I will not be returning.
