    Lemon Chicken

Hit and miss on our first try at De Adriatico. Location: very nice restaurant inside and out (nice patio area for when the weather cools). Nice warm greeting at the door and seated promptly for our 6:00 reservation. Service: Our server was overly attentive at first but then went missing when we actually needed her. Food: appetizers, table of 4, we started with the clams, sauce was fantastic, only issue was 5-6 of the clams were not open (not a good thing). When we finally saw our server and told her, she had the manager know and they re fired some new ones for us, not necessary but a nice touch. We also had the calamari, very non traditional but delicious! Main courses: Chicken parm got a thumbs up, Lemon chicken thumbs down (bland) and grilled calamari with linguine, (fair, but bland as well). Desert: terimisu, outstanding, one of the best we've had. Overall, more of a single up the middle vs a home run. May have ordered wrong, but, good enough to try again.

Good food and service (slightly over the top). Absolutely loved the eggplant caprese. The pastas were all fresh and tasty, with large portions.

Absolutely loved this restaurant with its unique menu and friendly staff. We ate dinner at De Adriatico this weekend and were met with smiles and warm greetings from the beginning of our night to the end. We started with drinks -- I tried their lemon drop martini, which was perfectly sweet and sour. The complimentary warm, herby pitas and sweet, diced tomato, onion, and balsamic dip were a delicious start to the night. With so many different items on the menu it was difficult to pick an entree, but I cannot resist fresh pasta. I ordered the linguine goulash, which has a rich and savory sauce filled with chopped beef. My friend ordered and loved the stuffed fiocchetti, which is very unique with its stuffed purse pasta shape and sweet pear and ricotta filling with white sauce and walnuts. Another member of our group ordered the chicken marsala, which came with very flavorful chicken and sauce, and tender roasted vegetables. We liked the larger portion sizes and decent prices for fresh pasta and high quality ingredients. We were too full to try dessert, but my eye is on the chocolate lava cake for next time! As nice surprise, Hugo -- the owner of De Adriatico, stopped by while we were eating and greeted every table. The passion he has for his food and those he meets was evident. Making De Adriatico my first choice whenever we're craving homemade pasta!

The flavors in the salmon, veggies and potato mashed were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. Baklava was superb best I've had all year!

The other night, my boyfriend and I visited here, and we were both so impressed by how incredible the food is! We had Aldo as our server, and he was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the white wine clams and beef carpaccio, and I instantly knew this restaurant was going to become one of my favorites. The clams with the sauce were absolutely delicious, and the beef carpaccio was superb. For our main courses, my boyfriend ordered the rack of lamb, and I had the lamb shank. I honestly felt like I had died and gone to heaven while eating the lamb shank -- it was so flavorful, especially with the saffron Arborio risotto. I even got to taste my boyfriend's rack of lamb, which was also amazing -- the moistest rack I've ever had! The owner came over to say hello and chat with my boyfriend, since he is from Croatia; Hugo is from the former Yugoslavia. Hugo is genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever met. We finished our dinner with Limoncello and their homemade chocolate mousse -- I haven't had such fantastic chocolate mousse since I was a little girl. It was heavenly! If you're looking for a truly exceptional dining experience, I highly recommend this restaurant because every dish is made with so much love. I know I'll be returning soon, not only with my boyfriend but also with my daughter.

This is a gem! We are in town visiting some family and they brought us to this wonderful little restaurant in Estero. It is a Mediterranean style restaurant with a European flair and a family run business. Our waiter Peter is a son on law of the owner the hostess is a neice and the owner Hugo stopped by to check on us. We started with a pita type homemade warm bread with fresh Bruscetta that comes on the table when you arrive. Hugo recommended the Eastern European Vodka which was very smooth. We all went with different dishes one went with the osso buco, one with shrimp and scallops. My wife had the lobster ravioli, and I had the Fresh made paperdelli pasta, beef stroganoff. Each was so fresh and delicious! The Osso Buco came with a yellow rice, The Shrimp and scallops came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My Stroganoff had a scoop of Tzatzki. It was as good as the one I had in Vienna several years back. This place is as must go to when in the area!

    Fresh linguini with goulash

We found this place by accident. I have been in Florida for 15 years and the food and menu is outstanding. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. Home made pasta. The bread was excellent. We had a party of 4 and all meals were excellent. Hugo the owner came and checked on us many times to make sure things were good. Highly recommend.

I came here after shopping in the area and I really love Mediterranean food so it was perfect. I had the grilled octopus to start and it was so delicious and well cooked. The risotto and shrimp was good too but i would probably try something different next time around. The pita was pretty delicious. The prices are fair for what you are getting and the food tastes pretty fresh. The service was great as well.

Italian, Serbian, and Mediterranean cuisine are served at the Adriatico restaurant in the Gulf Coast Center. The personnel at the restaurant is incredibly kind and welcoming. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. Freshly prepared meal is quite wonderful. Appetizers, salads, steak, seafood, and desserts are all well-represented on the menu. Try the Sarma. There's is also wide selection of wines, beverages, and beers are also available. An excellent option for lunch or dinner.

What an amazing restaurant! Great service, wonderful food and great ambience. I had a French martini, pear salad, and the lobster ravioli. Everything was fantastic! My parents loved their osso buco, Greek village salad, and tomato soup. Such a great place can't wait to go back!

We have business meetings here for lunch. For lunch, the cost of this restaurant is high. It is about 3.5 stars. Service a bit slow even restaurant is kind of empty. We begin with charcuterie board with prosciutto, roast peppers, mozzarella tomato. This board is ok. Not the best prosciutto but good enough. It also come with complimentary pita and tomatoes dice. My friend have Rigatoni Puttanesca with olive and Marinara sauce. I thin this dish just average. I have the Linguini Al Granchio with crab meat. This is good dish. Our third dish is grilled salmon with stir fry veggies and mash potatoes. Ambience is nice open dining hall. Many businesses have power lunch here. If they have lunch price is better

We had grouper, tuna, cod, oysters, clean strips and if course, "clam chowdah". Everything was perfect- crunchy yet not overcooked. Our server was attentive and friendly. I was very excited to give it a try. Friday, March 27th my wife and two friends left Sebring driving the two to Fort Myers to go check out the Clam Bake for some long awaited delicious seafood especially looking forward to some fried Ipswich clams. Entering The Clam Bake, looking around, I saw a very nice variety of Boston Sports teams pictures and memorabilia on the walls. The waiter was prompt though not very personable. The waiters response to the two questions was as i was asking stupid questions. Regarding the food. I ordered a salad with Russian dressing and received Thousand Island dressing. I ordered Fried whole belly clams and a baked potato The baked potato seemed to be a day old left over baked potato reheated. Instead of clams I received Fried Oysters. When I asked they assured me they were clams. My wife ordered Fried Sea Scallops with a baked Sweet potato. She received what looked to have been frozen Sea Scallops (that were just Ok) and a "half" of a small Sweet Potato. I ate the salad as Thousand Island Dressing still tastes good, though I prefer Russian. It would have been nice for the waiter to let me know. I ate the potato as I have many times had cut up left over baked potatoes as home fries, and they are good. I did not eat the oysters. A bus person came by and cleared our dishes., did not ask if my dinner was ok as the oysters were still on my plate. Over all opinion: The decor is New Englandish, Service over all ok. The food is ok. Just don't expect the quality of the seafood to be anywhere as good as what you can find in New England. I will not be returning.

(kinda on the smaller side) i did end up getting a second one ($15 each). For apps we got the tuna cervichi and flatbread. (I do not eat raw tuna, so I have no option on that dish. But the rest of the table ate it up) The flat bread was great too. It had black olives, figs, tomatoes and lots of cheese. For dinner we each ordered something different. I got the crab cake stuffed Salmon with seasoned spinach and mashed topped with, what i think the waitress said was lobster sauce.. altho my friend that got the seafood risotto was supposed to have the same sauce on top but hers was a much more red color. The risotto was another great dish. It had scallops, big shrimps and muscles in it. Cooked perfectly. My friend had the Sicilian Penne. He said: It was a delicious pasta dish with sausage and cannellini beans. The Gorgonzola cheese was an amazing addition that really took the dish to the next level. Our server Sydney was great. She let us know they were short staffed some wait ataff and she may have been backed up (there was probably 6 tables in there at the time idk.. where I waitress i have a 12 table station, and its fast paced..) but she still a great job. The restaurant its self love nice after the renovations, but inqoukdnhave never known it was a finer dining place rather then a typical breakfast diner from the outside of it. Ill be back!
