Pinchin Crab - Highway 6, Missouri City We stopped in at Pinchin Crab on Highway 6 in Missouri City, and everything was great from start to finish. The restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered a little bit of everything -- the fried calamari, fried juicy wings, and a kids' popcorn chicken meal with fries. For seafood, we got the #5 combo with snow crab legs and head-off shrimp, plus two lobsters and octopus. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and well-seasoned. They make the messy fun easy -- you get a bib, gloves, and all the cutters and crackers you need. The dining area and restrooms were clean, which we always appreciate. Overall, a great experience. We would definitely come back again! Thanks Dan for the heads up and sharing!!!

Everything was hot, fresh, and good. Wish everything wasn't ala carte if you don't like the other items in the combo meals.

The fish and the onion rings were over cooked and greasy, not to mention the service was horrible.

It's the sister property to a larger sports venue next door. You will only find the name of the lounge written on the entry door. My visits were driven by a desire for a place to have a coupe of drinks and enjoy some music and the Lounge at Six works for me. The bartender did an excellent job on the cocktails and single handed served the entire room. You can order food (Thai Cuisine) that comes from the sports bar next door. Thai food at a sports bar isn't typical but the menu is large and I haven't found an item I didn't thoroughly enjoy. If you don't want the energy of a sports bar stick to the dark setting of the Lounge at Six.

We stopped by around 5 PM on Monday but the door was locked. We asked next door how to get in and they said The Lounge requires a reservation. They weren't sure how we could make a reservation so they took down our name and phone number and said we would be contacted by the "correct people". It has now been three days and nothing. There is no website or direct phone number for the establishment. It seems like a broken system, very disappointed.

If you like barbecue, bacon and sausage, then I suggest you try them Cowboy hotdog it's made with beef, smoked bacon, cheese sauce, crispy onion, bits, and barbecue sauce. One thing I like about this restaurant they bring food out piping hot! If you are at the bar say hello to John he was excellent. I also tried the Chili Idol hotdog and it reminded me of being a kid and getting a chili cheese dog! The freshly chopped onions topped it off! I am pleased with my dogs and @ 1/2 off on Wednesday it was awesome! This is a good place for groups to hangout and sample different beers and try different shareable's. I recommend this place. GN3

Menu was in a box after I entered through the doors. Ordered at the counter, took a table number, and found a seat at the side. Food was served to my table pretty quickly. Service staff were very friendly. My Chili Idol was very good. I loved everything about the Chili Idol - from the beef dog, to the chili, and to the bun. Everything was cooked well and the bun was perfect. Also got the Chili Cheese, but changed it to fries instead of tater tots. The seasoning on the fries were plenty, but went well with the side of cheese given. Parking is plenty here. Happy Hour all day at the bar!

The parking lot was pretty full when I arrived but I was fortunate to find a spot near the front and although the lot was full there seemed to be enough parking. They have a nice patio with a decent amount of seating on the side of the building and a small area in the front as well. The inside is a jazzy and lively but cozy vibe with walls adorned with beautiful jazz aesthetic artwork. My food came out hot and fresh. My cheeseburger was delicious. It was juicy, not at all greasy and cooked perfectly at medium well. I didn't request a particular meat temperature but this seemingly standard way they cooked it was right on target. My fries were crispy and delicious as well. In hindsight I shouldve requested a side of ranch to dip them in instead of the standard ketchup. That would've been more ideal for me and would've also tasted amazing with my burger. They give you a ton of fries and you will likely need extra ketchup or whatever dipping sauce for it btw and make sure to ask for it when you order your food to ensure you get it before u finish your meal. The drinks are strong but still tasty. They're also generously poured. Ok so a few minor negatives to point out. Service was a bit slow. I probably sat for 30 minutes or so before a waitress took my order. I arrived after my cousins and fortunately they had a beautiful charcuterie board that I could nibble on. Also, they brought my rum punch as I was finishing my meal. All of the staff was super kind and pleasant however so zero complaints other than the speed of the service. I think they could've used a couple more servers to ensure they could visit the tables more quickly and frequently. Another thing, it was a little loud and kinda difficult to talk across the table but it is a bar, a jazzy upbeat sophisticated bar with a 35-50ish aged crowd so come here for the food, drinks, maturity and great music not to have a deep conversation or at least not on a Friday night. I'll definitely be back for steak night if they still have it. I'm sure that'll give me an opportunity to give this place another star.

Upon entering the establishment you see barber chairs and you walk around back and into a very lovely scene. DJ bumping good vibes (90s hip hop and R&B when I went. There's seating at the bar for 10 people and there are tables inside. Very slick decor that sets the tone for a nice casual environment. They also have a nice patio area where you can order hooka and watch the game. There's tables and booths in the patio. I had a couple (3) old fashioned with different whiskey each time and the bartender that night was in point . They have bites and a cocktail menu as well. It's a great mix of men and women , single and couples. If you want to meet people you can as everyone seemed to be talkative and enjoying life . It was a great vibe and I'll be back .

Where it falls short (IMO) of a true speakeasy is with the signage (the sign says "lounge") and the entry (they don't require any sort of passcode or reservation). I'm not mad at the laid back feel, but it doesn't meet my definition of a true speakeasy. The Throne is more on par with Off The Record. There's a store front, and a hidden bar, but the business is basically broadcasting that it is a speakeasy which sort of defeats the purpose. When we walked in, we were greeted by a security guard who may have been a MO City police officer. He was really nice and told us a little bit about the barbershop. Barbershop customers can grab a drink while they wait. The lounge opens at 4 pm W-Su so the lounge hours actually overlap with the barbershop hours. I don't know anything about the barbershop or the barbers, but they do offer a variety of services. The vibe of The Throne is loud nightclub. The DJ was spinning some good tunes, but it was hard to have a conversation without yell-talking to each other. The patio was quieter and they did have heaters. Patrons are allowed to smoke cigars and hookah on the patio, however I didn't notice anyone smoking while we were there. The patio area had some TVs as well, so it could potentially be a cool spot to catch a game. They do have a food menu, however we did not order any food. I'm not sure how late the kitchen is open, but they offer items like pizza, sandwiches, and wings. I ordered a glass of pinot grigio which I enjoyed. The Throne is in a shopping strip a few doors down from B's Wine Bar. The parking lot is large and there are plenty of spaces, but you may have to park a bit further out and walk. Though it may not meet my definition of a true speakeasy, it's really nice to have bar options outside of The Loop that are open late, and aren't too far from home.
