First time visiting. Next door has had several great reviews but there was only one on yelp for 3 stars. We had a great visit and will go back! The people working were friendly, our orders were correct and hot and the place was clean with a nice ambiance. I got the fried fish- (4pieces) it came with 3 sides (Cajun fries, Cajun rice and corn) for $12! My husband had the blackened fish that came with broccoli, Cajun rice and ettoufee. It has 2 huge pieces of fish and was all more than he could eat. He enjoyed the flavor immensely! We got my son chicken tenders (6) with fries and corn and our total was $46! Plus tip of course. My husband wants to go back for the pork chops. We will definitely be back. Go give it a try, I think you'll be pleased!

Great food selection. Intimate setting. Good service. New spot as i believe they just recently opened. The boiled seafood is amazing. The turkey neck is big and well worth the price. I've been back a couple times. Definitely my new boiled seafood spot. Only thing missing is their liquor license but it's coming.

My first meal at this establishment and it was delicious! I walked in to get food to go. I was greeted warmly at the door and given a menu. The restaurant is nice inside with different seating areas, cool lighting and a chill vibe. Placed my order and sat down to wait. Wait time was a bit long, but it appears food is made when you order it and came to me piping hot so I didn't mind the wait. Got home and had to taste everything so excuse my not so great bites taken pictures lol. The food was/is (I have leftovers) delicious . Red beans and rice were hearty and flavorful, fried catfish (yes I paid the up charge) and shrimp were perfectly fried and the sides (mashed potatoes and broccoli) were seasoned well. The Yakamein was outstanding! I got it with medium heat and my only complaint is the broth was a bit salty for my liking. The beef was tender and the shrimp were cooked just right. All in all I plan on returning based on cost and food portions alone. Next up-crawfish! Y'all don't sleep on this spot.

Food was just OK. They need to boost the vibe in here. The waiter was so timid, we couldn't hear what he was saying. The fried shrimp was good, the crawfish tails were over fried. We did like the batter on the food & corn. We may need to give it one more try. FYI : Boudin balls -- we're really good.

Service was great! I got a popcorn shrimp basket with fries, garlic bread, and fried broccoli. Everything was season well! It is a great place and I am excited to go back again.

I tried the French Quarter and my friend had the Mack Daddy's Hangover Burger. I want to vent regarding the parking situation. All the outside parking places are only for people who have a parking app, & pay for the privilege of patronizing businesses. The French Quarter was excellent the cornbread at the bottom was soft and flavorful with a tiny kick of heat! The crawfish were perfectly cooked in a savory sauce. The only thing I would change is the eggs were cooked about 7 - 10 seconds too long congealing the yolk. Other than that my dish war perfect. My friend's Mack Daddy's Hangover he said was outstanding! He could only finish half, the rest he said would be lunch tomorrow. Paul, our waiter was attentive and responsive. This was expected and performed flawlessly. I recommend this restaurant, but they do not get 5 stars. GN3

The food is consistently good, and most of the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the manager is a completely different story. This is not the first time I've been there and heard her yelling at an employee loud enough for customers to hear the entire conversation. Sitting at the bar and hearing that is uncomfortable, embarrassing, and honestly very unprofessional. No employee should be spoken to that way, even if they made a mistake. If this is what customers are hearing, I can only imagine how often it happens behind the scenes. Erick and Dylan are amazing and always take great care of me when I'm there. The fries are also always a winner. Deb was my waiter and was very professional. I've had this lunch at the other locations and it was equally good. I like Floyd's and believe they serve very good seafood. I wish their regular dinner entrees weren't so expensive. The sangria was NOT worth the wait. I expected better from this place. It was also my friend's first ever visit and I had raved about my previous visit. I am not raving about the place now. Friend ordered lobster bisque. Much later we were told they ran out. Told in a manner of "oh well" and a shrug by our disinterested server. I found our female server surly, unhelpful, and appeared like she had no interest whatsoever in doing her job as patrons were disturbing her day. She should have stayed home. Once my friend decided what she wanted to order, this server had the audacity to tell her what salad she was going to get. Not suggest. Tell! My friend did not want salad as the menu said there was the option was soup OR salad and she wanted and ordered the corn chowder, you know, since "they ran out of the lobster bisque." Our server apparently left. Took us a while to notice due to the lack of service which was all hurry up and wait. (The place was not crowded at all). Took forever to get our check. We never saw our server again. Another male server came by. We told him, twice, to split the check. Which he did not. As a reward for making the request, he brought over the incorrect check. I mean you cannot make this total experience up. The food was good The lack of quality service ruined the experience, negated the food's taste, and the surly server did not earn the tip I gave her. It was my friend's first time there and we were made to feel extremely unwelcome.

The space itself is massive with plenty of indoor seating, so even with the usual Sunday crowd, we got a table without any long, drawn-out wait. The atmosphere is completely laid back, loud, and smells like pure garlic and butter the second you walk through the door. For the main event, I went with the Combo #10, which comes loaded with a half-pound of snow crab legs, a half-pound of headless shrimp, a half-pound of sausage, three boiled eggs, corn, and potatoes. I opted for the signature Juicy Crab seasoning at the hot level. My baseline for heat is naturally pretty high, and while this didn't have me sweating, it had a legit, beautiful kick with serious depth. It wasn't just mindless spice; the garlic-heavy cajun blend was firing on all cylinders, and every single thing in that bag was perfectly saturated. The crab was sweet and slid right out of the shell, and the sausage added a great smoky contrast to the seafood. Because we clearly have no portion control, we also shared the shrimp fried rice. Usually, side dishes at boil joints are a dry afterthought, but this was surprisingly elite. It was savory, packed with a generous amount of shrimp, and served as the perfect canvas to pour the leftover bag juice over. By the end of the meal, the table was a complete disaster, but the flavor and execution were top-tier. I will absolutely be back to handle business again.

I actually drove an entire hour in bad weather just to try it and it was worth every single minute. From the first bite, the flavor was unforgettable. The seasoning is executed to perfection bold, buttery, Cajun-forward with the ideal balance of salt and spice. Rich, well layered, and deeply satisfying. The crawfish were easily some of the best I've ever had: generously sized, beautifully seasoned, and packed with flavor. While a few were smaller, they were still impressively meaty, which speaks to the overall quality and consistency. Every bite delivered that crave-worthy, finger licking goodness. We also ordered the shrimp and crawfish fried rice combo, and fried tilapia and it was phenomenal hands down one of the best fried rice dishes I've had in a long time.
