Pinchy OG (Lobster Brioche)
Kwang C.

The lobster brioche is the only good item; everything else is just average. Pinchy OG (Lobster Roll): They give a decent amount of lobster (you can add more for $5), and the bread is toasted soft, warm, and crisp. Still, if I'm comparing, the lobster brioche served during lunch hours at Blue Magpie in Arcadia tastes better. Spicy Crispy Chicken: Average. It's basically a chicken breast sprinkled with chili powder, and there's nothing special about the crunch, juiciness, or tenderness. At $13, I'd rather go to Jollibee. Pinchy Bisque: Average. There's a small amount of risotto at the bottom and a few thin strands of what seems like crab meat. It's a bit too salty, and overall the texture isn't even as good as Costco's.

3.5/5 stars overall! I think I need to give this place one more shot cuz I feel like they just cooked my meal a bit wrong. This restaurant is SUPER cute inside. I loved all the fun, sea-themed decorations. The restaurant itself is really nice and new and clean and cute! My husband and I ordered Spicy Crispy Chicken and a Garlic Butter Shrimp Rice Bowl. First, the positives. The fries were so good! Great flavor, extra crispy, fluffy on the inside. A textbook perfect fry! The spicy crispy chicken was pretty good too. Moist, crunchy, and actually spicy! It was done well. The Garlic Butter Shrimp Rice Bowl was where it went south. The shrimp was cooked well, but the sauce was not. I think the garlic was cooked too dark/burnt as the sauce was really bitter. I think the sauce was also overseasoned as it was very salty. I thought the lemon might balance the sauce out but the sauce was overwhelming. I ended up not eating much of the sauce as it was just too much. The service was okay! You order on a kiosk. The food took a little wait to come out as well. Also the spicy chicken said it came with spicy aioli but it didn't come with any. When we asked the server, she said you had to order it. But she gave it to us anyway! Overall, I think they just messed up my sauce! Everything else was good.

First off, this spot has great food; they have a solid variety of seafood-centric sandwiches, pastas and appetizers with their main feature being their lobster rolls. I enjoyed their "Spicy Sue" which is their take on a Maine style Lobster roll with spicy aioli and Old Bay seasoning. Generous portion of delicious lobster and they nailed the seasoning The couple times I have gone however, the wait was teetering on almost half an hour with little to no other customers. The service staff that are doing the real work have always been great/friendly but I've noticed that some of the leadership do not share the same vibe. Overall good experience though, check them out for the food.

Pinchy & Pals has a great lobster roll! I recommend trying it with the aioli sauce, it was so flavorful. The bread was toasted and buttery. The crab pasta was delicious! Real crabs were used, the texture of the pasta was perfect and I loved how creamy it was! This spot is a great addition to The District with indoor and outdoor seatings for a casual meal, I would come back for the rolls

If you're craving seafood but don't wanna deal with the hassle of ordering + waiting forever... Pinchy & Pals in Tustin is the move! You can order through kiosks so it's super convenient, and the food came out surprisingly quick too. We tried the lobster roll combo, soy garlic noodles, fish & chips, and the clam chowder fries. The lobster roll was buttery + packed with lobster. Fish and chips came out HOT and crispy. The noodles had that sweet savory garlicky flavor, and those clam chowder fries were my fave. Glad we have even more dining options at The District now! Such a solid casual spot for a quick seafood fix!

I usually never get lobster/ seafood rolls because they just seem so pricy, but it didn't seem bad here. We got the pinchy flight which included lobster, shrimp, and crab roll with fries. We also got a side of clam chowder. The staff was incredibly nice and we had a nice chat with her. Also, the inside decor was amazing. A ton of seafood themed decorations and I laughed at Mr. Krabs greeting me! The shrimp roll only had 4 shrimp, but they were big and juicy. I love the flavor on the shrimp and after we finished this roll we knew that we were in for a treat for the next two. The crab roll was honestly my favorite but I might be biased because I like crab more than lobster. It felt very fresh and they honestly give a good amount crab here. The lobster roll also had a ton of lobster meat and it was a delight to eat. The dipped the fries in the clam chowder and that was a combo I've never had, but something I'll always try in the future if they offer it! I really liked the fusion of flavors.

I love The District at Tustin Legacy! So many fun spots and great eats for the whole family. Stepped into Pinchy & Pals today, totally drawn in by their seafood rolls. I'm a huge lobster roll lover, and honestly, that's one thing we're missing in the Inland Empire That's why I had to get extra lobster Bonus points for their spectacular outdoor space. Besides the lobster roll, the crab roll was packed with filling too. And it's right next to AMC, so IYKYK IG: socalhkfoodies

This place had so many options from seafood pastas to classic lobster rolls and more! We got a little bit of everything but was blown away by the diversity in the menu! This location is its own little shop with indoor seating located in The District! What we got: lobster roll pinchy flight (slaw sauce lobster roll, mayo crab roll, spicy aioli shrimp roll, fries and drinks) coconut shrimp pinchy bisque Our favorite was definitely the lobster roll and coconut shrimp. You should def check out Pinchy & Pals

Very black pepper-heavy fish and chips. Not good.

This place has spent a lot of money on branding. The takeout bags are fancy, the take out boxes come specialty-wrapped in branding, the napkins are branded, they even include what looks to be branded wet wipes (but are actually plastic gloves?). And yet. No a/c in their establishment, even during a heatwave. Had to be at least 85 degrees inside the place. Soda machine on the fritz with no carbonation. Fish and chips with fish that was so dry and chewy I honestly questioned if it was chicken, covered in breading that was kind of rubbery and FULL of black pepper. Fries are also covered in black pepper. My husband took one bite and said "this honestly may be the worst fish and chips I've ever had." 2 stars for the excellent service of the guy behind the counter and for his general positive attitude despite working in terrible conditions. Suggest they spend less money on branding and more money on increasing the food quality and making the interior hospitable.

Love their signature rolls! First you pick your protein, then a sauce, then unlimited add-ons. My favorite is the lobster rolls with classic butter and green onion, oldbay, and lemon. Also a big fan of their calamari! I've tried it with the spicy aioli (recommended) my first time here, and with the Thai chili my second time here. Both were great. Service during my experiences here have been wonderful. You can order at the kiosk, but the staff is always happy to answer any questions I have or recommend popular items. Super cute decorations and nice chill, casual vibe.

Pinchy & Pals is a new Instagrammable seafood shop perched up next AMC at the District in Tustin. They offer lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls, and seafood pastas and soups. The place is cute and service is decent. And let me tell you - the fries are so crisp and delicious. With that said, I may need to give this place one more try because my lobster roll tasted strongly of the sea. Not in an inedible way, but not in the freshest, juiciest and plumpest way I dreamed of when I read the other reviews. Besides that, the brioche bread was incredible. If they served that as a butter toast at a bakery, it'd be a treat! I just wish that for the price of over $25 after taxes there were a bit more of lobster to give it that beautiful plump bite that makes lobster rolls feel satisfying. It may be the proportion of knuckle meat (near the shell, almost tastes and looks like shrimp) was maybe too high in this roll compared to the claw and leg meat. With that said, their dipping sauce was also excellent (and had me almost down all my fries while trying to diet...yum!). All in all, I loved the carbs at Pinchy & Pals. I would give this another shot in case it was an off day given the raving feedback. Their pastas looks interesting too. And the store itself is very Instagrammable and cute!

This is a cute spot! It is on the small side but well decorated and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We got calamari as a starter and lobster rolls with a side of fries for our entree. Calamari- Flavorful breading and fried beautifully with a light crisp. The interior is chewy and soft. Lobster Roll- Served fresh with a generous amount of meat. The roll is fluffy and buttery. The mayo sauce has a nice brightness to it. Quite tasty overall! Fries- Hot and crisp with a delightful seasoning. Pairs perfectly with the lobster roll. Great experience overall!

I had their Pinchy flight and it was amazing. Francisco talked to us about the food and the business. Eva was great explaining the menu. Our foodie Tuesday group thought the food was delicious. Lobster roll was awesome!!! Definitely coming back

Even though it was 6:15 on a Saturday night, we were able to be sat right away. As soon as we walked in, someone greeted us and showed us to our table. Our server immediately got us waters and asked if we wanted anything else to drink (wife and I both got some delicious beers that they had on tap). We had our little one in tow with us and they were so accommodating to him! As soon as we were ready, our server took our order. We got: Chowder "frots" (fries and tots mixed in with some New England clam chowder, bacon, onions, cheese, and other goodies) 10/10, would definitely order again. My wife got the lobster roll with a side of clam chowder. Loaded with lobster, but you do pay the price. Labeled as market price, this was almost $40. Delicious, but not worth it in our opinion. 6.5/10. Pan roast (house specialty which came with shredded crab, shrimp, clams, and muscles). This, topped with rice, was heavenly. Better than any pan roast I've had. Came out ripping hot as it should. My wife was envious of my dish. 10/10 From the kids menu we also ordered the chicken Alfredo. My kid loved it, but my wife and I both had a bite and wow, we would've ordered that for ourselves it was so good. 10/10. We can't wait to come back just for the food. On top of that, however, service was above and beyond. The servers and everyone in the restaurant were so accommodating to us and our child and made us feel so, so welcome. We would come back even if the food was bad, solely for the service we received. Vibes we great, decoration on the walls look like they hired an artist to paint it. They had two TV's behind the bar / prep area that was showing NBA and PGA which I'll never complain about. All around 10/10 experience.

Mac and cheese was a pretty big portion for a kid, really cheesy and rich. Overall pretty good meal and surprisingly pretty affordable considering the cost of seafood. Service was attentive. This place isn't popular enough!…read more We walked here after enjoying a fun day looking at the pet farm, winning some prizes at the fair, and built an appetite! Jack o lantern fair was just a few blocks away but we were craving seafood and we decided on Seafood 1555. Oh my gosh. We shared a steak burrito and two octopus& shrimp tacos & it was grilled to perfection. They also had 7 types of salsa as well as the fresh one they make on site. I mean I need to come back and order again because it's worth it all! Just walk behind the parking lot when you enter the church, it's behind the car repairs. And they make it looks like a farmers market with about 3-4 businesses serving food and desserts :) Service was amazing they asked if we needed any thing and we were the only customers remaining so they were patient and didn't rush us at all. Super kind cook. Pop up chairs, canopies, and beautiful dishes were served. Don't think twice. Go order some stellar seafood tacos today!!

You can feel that they care, and it makes the whole experience even better. The shrimp tacos were loaded--generous, fresh, and insanely flavorful. Every bite was satisfying, not skimpy in the slightest, and perfectly balanced. The kind of tacos you think about later and immediately want again. And don't sleep on the chips and salsa. So many places treat it as an afterthought, but here it was very, very good--fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal. Great food, generous portions, and standout service. Seafood 1555 is a must-visit and an easy recommendation. We'll absolutely be back.

For the kushiyaki, we ordered the beef tongue, prime beef, chicken gizzard, and bacon enoki mushroom skewers. Every skewer was packed with flavor. The prime beef was especially tender. It felt like a DIY hand roll experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, spacious, and has a great atmosphere. The worst omakase experience ever!…read more The service was bad, I had to wait for my table for over 25 mins with a reservation. Turned out they were not setting my table, gave it to other people to where we ended up having to sit at the bar. Additionally, no one came by to see how we were doing. Not once were we asked if we need anything or if our food was good or any attention to us. Then comes the food: the worst omakase ever. The hot food was not hot, and over cooked dried single lamb chop was so salty. The miso soup was salty as well. Nigiri was dried up pieces of fish that was not fresh, very mushy in texture, and as small as my pinky finger of a size. Not one single bite was memorable or worth nothing we had eaten. To pay $150 per person on omakase you figure you would experience some kind of orgasm in your mouth but instead we had a big flop of a disappointment that was the worst wasteful $1000 spent on dinner ever! Never coming back and definitely stirring friends and family away from checking this place out!
