Went here on a whim and did not expect the huge portions. Food is made which fresh ingredients from scratch. What a hidden gem!

Solid work, have been twice, will keep coming back. Tomato basil is hearty, a little spicy. Grilled cheese has a good pull, good toast on solid bread. Chicken melt is A+. Marked down because the clam chowder is not a chowder, maybe today they forgot the roux? Also it takes a bit longer to get your order than you'd want but nothing awful, and the made to order quality is there.

Came here last minute as we were nearby! So glad we did as I finally got to try this place…read more My husband got the Pastrami Breakfast Sandwich (no pics as it was so good - he finished it ASAP LOL). With it came some potatoes and those were YUMMY! We're picky on our potatoes as some places either make them too soft or dense. These had a nice crunch and still fluffy in the middle. I got the Strawberry Soufflé Pancakes! It comes with two per order and was very jiggly. The pancakes were soft, fluffy, and airy. The strawberry sauce and cream on top that it comes with added a nice acidity and sweetness. Then to finish it off, some nice actual strawberries. Will come back to try more on their menu!! Service was fast as well and the staff were helpfully on suggestions to try :) Plenty of parking as well in the area as it's in a shopping plaza.

Easy to order, super friendly and helpful staff, not a lot of space inside, so be ready to order and move on out to the many tables outside the area. Parking, a pain in the butt as usual in California. This is also a tight parking area, so be ready for it. Drinks were good, I would not give the Vietnamese coffee the best review, but it was good, just not great. The food though, excellent! Definitely loved the pancakes and I was able to try the carne asada quesadilla which was out of this world. I would highly recommend this spot and the food was great. Inside of the restaurant is cute and cozy! PROS: Great Food Options are small, but they are made to perfection Lots of drink choices Good seating options inside/outside CONS: Parking Small spot, so can be difficult to find seating

We are lucky to be in the distance range to put ourselves on the waitlist from home. The wait was still around an hour for us. I will have to say the food is so worth the wait, even if we didn't have the wait-from-home privilege!! The restaurant is beautiful and big and can easily accommodate big party! We got to order and try different dishes since we had 8 people. We ordered: Pad See Ew with Squid - solid flavor, but nothing crazy Papaya Salad - amazing, they got flavor balance perfectly! Dry Thai Boat Noodles - blown away by how flavorful this dish was! Even the side of broth was amazing! Thai Curry with Fried Cat Fish - pretty presentation, amazing curry! Love love love the fried fish!! Crab Fried Rice - they give to so much crab meats!! Solid fried rice Tomyum Stew with Fish - I'm not sure the exact name of the dish, but it was amazing! Similar to tomyum soup but so different!! Mango Sticky Rice - perfect dessert!! The coconut cream sauce love the fried mung beans on top!! 100% worth the wait and love up to the hype!!

Great flavors, nice staff, comfortable seating as the tables aren't smooshed together. Super busy…read moreso prepare for a wait. But they do have a waitlist online (as of May/Jun 2026) so get on that early. I do wish they would make things spicier. I know that sounds a little dubious for a Thai restaurant but though the default is more mild, the flavor is still there. This is good for those who can't handle spice but still want flavor. This is the main reason I didn't round up on my rating. The expectation is to lean spicy or at least be asked what level. I should have asked for more spice but honestly didn't think about it at the time and was more focused on the company I was keeping. Not a huge deal for me bc the flavor was still there but definitely to be noted. I'm up for going again but next time I will ask for more spice. Other notes... they have an interesting beer list so if you like that make sure to check it out. The parking is also tight so again keep that in mind.

After The Counter…read moreclosed nearby, I really needed a new local burger place when I had a burger craving, and The Cut delivers. I either order The Cut (yes, the $40 burger and fries) or I make my own bleu cheese burger depending on my mood. I'll cut to the chase: is the $40 burger worth it? If you've got $40 to spare and you like burgers, I think it's definitely worth it. I mean, I've had it probably three or four times now, and I'm not some kind of moron who likes setting money on fire (I hope), so it must be good, right? What's unique about it? Basically everything, but obviously the patty of meat is the star of the show, with a unique taste and texture that makes it stand out from a normal ground beef patty, and the cheese is no slouch either. The only negative is that my wife bullies me into ordering it so she can steal a few bites. The regular fries and sweet potato fries are also great. My wife got a steak with her caesar salad one time, and that was delicious too. We usually have the same waiter since we come around the same time/day every time, and he's always great. They also always have a great selection of beers on tap, today they had three different West Coast IPAs and I felt like a kid in a candy store... yum! Normally when writing a review I can come up with some sort of complaint to balance things out, but not really in this case. I mean, I could whine that the burger is $40, but no one is forcing me to buy it (except for my wife). All in all, I think this is one of the best places in Irvine to have a pint of beer and a good meal.

I can't believe we haven't had the cut before. And the sauces, I want more sauces…read more I'm bias for what I had. The blue cheese burger with amazing blue cheese sauce, carmelized onions. Bbq sauce with medium rare burger - oh my sweet and tartness! Absolute melt in your mouth delishness. And sweet potato fries were the perfect addition to the savory meal. I cannot wait have my leftovers today. My other half had the double smash cheese burger with regular fries. He'd try different side next time. But the Caesar dressing for the salad was amazing with homemade croutons. So let's discuss sauces. Three thousand island - yowsa- and house the cut sauce - my blue cheese sauce - and the ranch dressing! I want more things to dip in the sauces. Next time we will dine in and try more. Definitely a smash hit for a Friday night.
