Road access is gated. Play equipment 5-12 over wood chips. Not much shade over playground. Gated pool. Covered four small picnic tables.

Still -1 star because it is the same management and owner who let the place get run down to the ground in the first place... and they still have a bunch of teenage boys hired to run the place. I just worry how long they can keep this place looking good. If something breaks will they just use tape to cover it up again? Good news is that I did see one of them cleaning the a spot in the mat at one point, so there is hope. However the eating area was pretty messy and dirty and I never saw anyone cleaning up. Also, there are too many people there on the weekends so you have to really follow your kid around not to lose them. Staff supervision seems loose. Overall, I'm willing to now bring my 3 year old here but am hoping the staff step it up.

I tried on my phone, still got refused. The front desk manager insisted it was my bank's issue. Excuse me this is not only my card but 4 other cards that other people have. And one of the card just paid for today's 2 hour pass! He said they couldn't do anything. No cash, I should call my bank. ?? I was so unsatisfied with that manager's attitude, he was not trying to solve the problem but concluded it was my problem.

We had my daughter's 9th birthday at Lil Chef this past weekend, and it was such a hit. The two…read morechefs running the party were awesome--funny, super interactive with the kids, and on top of every detail. They handled things I didn't even realize I didn't have to do--like setting up the goodie bags, cutting and serving the cake, packing leftovers--which meant I actually got to relax and enjoy the party. The kids had a blast making their own pizzas and decorating cupcakes, and the fact that the place comes already decorated with birthday banners and permanent balloons made it even easier. Plus, being able to bring in our own food and drinks (including alcohol!) for the adults was a huge bonus. Everyone kept commenting on what a fun and unique party it was. If you're planning to do goodie bags, I recommend ordering aprons on Amazon instead of buying them from the venue--it's cheaper and makes for a cute party favor. Also, I suggest putting a balloon on the directional signs in the shopping center by Dunkin' Donuts so your guests don't get lost, since it's a bit tricky to get there. Highly recommend Lil Chef if you want a fun, stress-free, and memorable birthday party.

If you're looking for a unique, engaging, and (most importantly) stress-free party venue, look no further! The moment we arrived, the staff was fantastic. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and had everything set up perfectly. They managed a group of twenty 9-year-olds with ease, keeping them entertained, focused, and most importantly, safe while they learned to cook. As a parent, the experience was truly seamless. The instructors handled the entire cooking lesson, kept the flow moving, and then--the biggest win of all--they took care of all the messy cleanup! I was able to relax and enjoy the celebration rather than running around managing logistics. The facility is bright, clean, and perfectly equipped for young chefs. This wasn't just a party; it was a fun, hands-on memory the kids won't stop talking about. Lil' Chef School is an absolute gem, and I highly recommend them for any birthday celebration!

Audrey went out of her way to address and assist our start and entry. As one would say, "beyond the call of duty!" I must also commend the staff who assisted my endeavor to watch and care for my godson. Kudos to all. The facility was clean, well maintained and very well supervised. Great place to hold a party as I witnessed two such events in progress and how well the staff catered to the attendees. Great job on every front.

There were so many less kids than the weekend, so all of the kids at the party got a lot of jump time. They also have arcade games, a food court, a TV lounge area, and lots of tables and chairs if someone wants to sit and read or do work while their child bounces. Service 10/10. Everyone we have encountered at this location has been SO sweet and helpful. Chloe was the one who helped us with the party this evening and she was amazinggggg! She was so kind, helped us decorate, and was on top of everything. Everything ran so smoothly because of her. Thank you Chloe :) From beginning to end, they were so many staff working and they were all so sweet. Thank you so much! Food- 8/10. Pizza and drinks were good :) I haven't tried anything else from the food court, but the pizza was good.

This review is for the Newport popup. I really wanted to like this place, but it was a big…read moredisappointment. We visited Kid Can Do expecting a fun, engaging indoor play space for young children, but it felt more like a restrictive, adult-supervised activity zone than a true play area. The biggest issue was the inconsistency and lack of freedom for the kids. Plenty of cupboards, covers, and storage areas were unlocked and easily accessible, so naturally the children explored them. As soon as they pulled out toys or art supplies, staff quickly took them away because they "weren't part of this week's theme." If you're going to leave things unlocked and within reach, kids are going to play with them, that's completely normal and developmentally appropriate. Instead, we spent most of our time picking up after our child and saying "no" or redirecting them. If that's the kind of experience you're looking for, this is the spot for you. If you want a place where children can actually play freely without constant intervention, look elsewhere. It also didn't feel developmentally suitable for the younger ages they advertise for. The setup created more frustration than fun, with limited open-ended play opportunities. On top of that, the cost felt excessive for what's offered. For the price, I expected more space, better variety, and far less policing of normal kid behavior. You could re-create what they offer for a fraction of what you are paying to go here for 90 minutes and have better peace of mind doing it in your own home. Save your time and money. Head to Play Pie or the New Children's Museum down in San Diego instead--both are much better options for actual play and exploration. Unfortunately, this was a waste of an afternoon for us.
