Outdoor venue where they have concerts at night

Super cute place tucked away in Paradise Valley. We went for brunch on Sunday, and there was live music playing. The food was pretty good, nothing incredible, but overall vibe was super cute! There were families there and kids playing in the river - adorable.

Went here for brunch. There was live music which was really nice. The service was a little slow but that's because there was one waitor serving all of the tables. He was nice, helpful and a hard worker. They have a bar and outside seating along a creek. There is a free parking lot. I got the Led Zeppelin breakfast burrito and it was just alright. I asked for no sour cream and got sour cream. The burrito fell apart when i would cut it and try to eat it. We also got hot wings and they were just alright. My friends french toast was good and was a big portion. More of a place to come for the atmosphere not the food.

Trout tacos

I just went to the Pine Creek Cafe with my family yesterday and it was great! This is an annual tradition with my family, and this last visit was far better than the ones in previous years. It looks like they may have revamped the menu. The table shared an appetizer of trout cakes with red onion relish and balsamic cole slaw. The cakes fell apart (of course--it's trout), but the flavor was wonderful. I had the trout tacos which included flaked trout, avocado cilantro crema, corn and black bean salsa, and lettuce. I really enjoyed the texture of the flaked trout and the combination of the trout, crema and salsa. They were served with rice pilaf, which was good and a welcome addition after going to far too many restaurants that serve everything with fries. My dad and cousin both ordered a Montana (bison) burger but asked for the western burger's chipotle barbecue sauce. They both loved their meals. Finally, my cousin ordered the brownie sundae and it was delicious and huge! We will definitely return as soon as we can!

Update: Although they show closed now, there are new owners, so they should be reopening the Summer of 2016 if not earlier. Will re-review then. Food is topnotch with a broad selection, and restaurant has comfortable atmosphere. The prices are more than reasonable given quality and ambition of the food. Good selection of local micro-brews. And unlike a lot of restaurants in this area, there are several items on menu of interest to vegetarians. Only downside is kitchen is slow most of the time, but not a problem if you are there to talk with friends. Can get noisy and crowded when there is entertainment and probably a good idea to have reservations on those nights. Hours can vary throughout the year, so it is a good idea to check their web site before you head out.

I attempted to have brunch here on July 4, 2021. The hostess was rude. We waited 30 minutes without a waitress ever coming to our table and when we asked if we could place an order, the hostess read us the riot act. So, we decided to take our money elsewhere and I caution others about this eating establishment.

So delicious! I had the jazz fest chicken sandwich with mac n cheese. I literally wanted to lick my plate clean! Our group all raved about their food. My husband had the chicken and waffles and it was killer. We had 10 people in our group and our service was amazing and efficient. We will definitely be back!

Was the service slow? Yes. Was the food worth the wait? BIG YES…read more I know a lot of reviews mention how slow the service was, so let's get that big elephant out of the way. Yes. It took a while. There was one waitress for the whole area. I feel like maybe the bartenders could have helped run food a little more but whatevs. Full disclosure, before we got our food....I would have rated this place lower. But. Oh. The. Food. My heavenly, small town, delighted tastebuds heck...the food! We ordered bangers and mash, the corned beef, and the Shepard pie. And we ate it all like we were on death row and it was our last meal! DELICIOUS! The Shepards Pie is something I'll dream about. Hearty and robust, but somehow not heavy. Perfect for a cold winter night or a hot summer day! And don't sleep on the soda bread! It's not only the best I've ever had. Paired with a smear of that lightly salted butter...it's enough to make me grab an employment application and ask if they can pay me in food! Bottom line- slow but sweet service for a REALLY good meal!

Our server Angie was very good and friendly. The beer was reasonably priced and they had both local and domestic beers. We had the G.O.A.T. Burger for $20. It was good but more the size of a burger in a kid's meal which is not what you except when you pay $20 for it. The burger was accompanied by a small amount of fries. If the portions of the food were better, I would have given it 5 stars. They do have live music but we left before it started.

The menu looked good and they had space for our large group of 10 because it was a bit late (maybe 2pm) when we sat down. The waitress was super kind, engaging all the kids, giving us a history of the town and restaurant and recommending her fave dishes. And I have to say...if it's on the menu, you MUST order their Key Lime Pie, it is one of the best I have ever had and I friggin love KLP. Anyway, lobster mac, truffle fries, deviled eggs, calamari were all amazing apps we shared, well the Lobster mac is really a main, but we indulged. I can't recall what my wife and sister-in-law got, but my niece got the poke bowl and loved it, I got the prime rib philly and the prime rib was cooked perfectly, and I think my wife got the wedge salad, but needless to say we all cleared our plates. But again...that Key Lime Pie...we all agreed it deserved to be featured on some sort of baking show, it was THAT good.
