Never got my spa manicure and the guy said it was a miscommunication which maybe wouldn't have happened if he wasn't watching his phone while doing my nails. No dryers either for my manicure. The receptionist couldn't get my gift card to work (I double checked after, it was valid) & didn't seem to care, either. Very rude. I'd only added the pedi on because I had the gift card. In the end, walked out without the one thing I went for, a spa manicure. This place isn't cheap, either, so I can't even say, you get what you pay for here because I definitely did not.

Padma's offers many types of salon services and henna. I have now been going every few weeks for my brow threading over the course of several months. Padma's is located in a strip mall in Voorhees. It's not your average fancy or aesthetically-pleasing salon. However, it offers a good variety of salon/spa services as well as Indian wedding makeup. The women who work here are dedicated and do a great job. Because Padma's is well-staffed, they are able to accommodate a good number of customers at once. For eyebrow threading/waxing, appointments aren't required. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes to get my threading done. Overall, I really like this place. The women who work here all do a great job. While they're not focused on exceptional customer service, they still do their best to make conversation and be friendly. For anyone who is familiar with foreign-owned businesses, Padma's has some of that sentimental "back home" feel. Their pricing is also much lower than others in the area; they charge $6 for brows and $4 for upper lip. This place is a true gem; I always make sure to plan my threading around the times in the area.

Jess was very helpful with booking my appointment and giving me landmarks and directions. Allie cut my hair and listened to what I wanted and gave suggestions when asked. The prices are great! I chose a wash/cut/blow dry and it was only $25. The salon is undergoing renovations, so I am excited to see what the finished product will be. This is going to be my new regular salon. I felt welcome and comfortable there, while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend Salon Pi'zazz if you are looking for a new regular salon.

However, I was not made aware during the time of booking that the cost of Botox injectables is not necessarily based off cost/unit. In my previous Botox injections, a simple lip flip & nasolabial injection for a gummy smile costs an average of 150-200. Average units for me is anywhere from 8-12. Upon checking out at the Garden, I was informed that my $100 deposit would be subtracted from the total cost. I was then informed at the time of checking out my total cost for services would total $325 for a lip flip!! And that was after my deposit was subtracted. I was informed that VIP members have different perks, and that I would have to pay the price for the specific area. I'm very upset that I was 1) not informed of the cost before booking and 2) obligated to pay almost double for a procedure that should have been significantly less. I loved the staff at the location and my injector however, I feel as though I have been scammed for the services. I'm very disappointed in the pricing and lack of communication and cost before booking. I cannot afford to pay for services for something so simple, and will unfortunately not be able to return.

The reaction was so bad I ended up at Urgent Care and then several days later, at my dermatologist for help. Unfortunately, no help from Garden Medical Spa. The owner call me (after I left two messages) and said this is normal. He never ask me to come in, just continued to say hang in there. After being on medication to heal the reaction, the swollenness has subsided, but the itching and redness is still here. The effect from this process has left my skin dry and wrinkled. It is as if, my skin looks worse. This is NOT the establishment you want to go to for any treatments, as they will not stand by their mistakes or help in any way :=(( I have truly been on my own.

I had never been to Hand & Stone, so I scheduled an introductory $69 massage. I was hoping to use the balance toward another massage and become a regular customer. Unfortunately, I was told by the rude girl at the desk that they would "have to take the gift card for the full value because it is not our practice to let you carry a balance". So, my $69 massage ended up costing $127.90, plus the $20 tip I gave the masseuse (who never told me her name). Very unprofessional and deceitful. I will never go back. I also want to add that the "one hour massage" only lasted about 40 minutes. Terrible experience.

The pedicure didn't loofah or anything, didn't adjust the seat or turn the chair massage on, uneven shape and length of the nails, didn't put on my sandals just left me there with nothing at all (asked if I wanted the toe spacers I said I was going to wear my own flip flops and tech said I didn't need spacers but didn't put on my sandals) and said I could go to the dryer (across the salon) but I still needed my nails done so when I went to put on my own sandals it ruined my polish. Tech said it was "fine" since I was her last appointment she would fix it. My nails are all different shapes and lengths, didn't clean up the skin, didn't have me wash my hands, didn't brush the nail dust, just cut/filed/polished and had me pay after polished. I didn't dare remind her for a third time I was also there for eyebrows because after this I was terrified of what might happen. I think she may have been new to nails but there were people doing nails next to us that even commented on the color, why did no one point out that she was skipping multiple steps and still charge $48?
