The women who work here are dedicated and do a great job. Because Padma's is well-staffed, they are able to accommodate a good number of customers at once. For eyebrow threading/waxing, appointments aren't required. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes to get my threading done. Overall, I really like this place. The women who work here all do a great job. While they're not focused on exceptional customer service, they still do their best to make conversation and be friendly. For anyone who is familiar with foreign-owned businesses, Padma's has some of that sentimental "back home" feel. Their pricing is also much lower than others in the area; they charge $6 for brows and $4 for upper lip. In my previous Botox injections, a simple lip flip & nasolabial injection for a gummy smile costs an average of 150-200. Average units for me is anywhere from 8-12. Upon checking out at the Garden, I was informed that my $100 deposit would be subtracted from the total cost. I was then informed at the time of checking out my total cost for services would total $325 for a lip flip!! And that was after my deposit was subtracted. I was informed that VIP members have different perks, and that I would have to pay the price for the specific area. I'm very upset that I was 1) not informed of the cost before booking and 2) obligated to pay almost double for a procedure that should have been significantly less. I loved the staff at the location and my injector however, I feel as though I have been scammed for the services. I'm very disappointed in the pricing and lack of communication and cost before booking. I cannot afford to pay for services for something so simple, and will unfortunately not be able to return.

After being on medication to heal the reaction, the swollenness has subsided, but the itching and redness is still here. The effect from this process has left my skin dry and wrinkled. I went in person to schedule a lash lift and tint and specifically told the employee I wanted to use my ClassPass credits. When I asked how to book it through ClassPass, she told me, "Don't worry about it. You don't need to book it on there since we made the appointment here." On the day of my appointment, only one hour beforehand, I received a call saying they couldn't honor it because the Washington Square location doesn't use ClassPass. Five minutes later, they called back and said they would accommodate me. I again made it very clear that I wanted to use ClassPass and was willing to go to whichever location accepted it. They specifically told me to go to Washington Square. After my service, I was then told I couldn't use ClassPass because I hadn't booked through the app--even though the same employee who performed my service was the person who originally told me I didn't need to. Their explanation was that they're "fairly new on ClassPass and still figuring it out." I understand being new to the platform, but their mistake and repeated misinformation should not cost the customer money. I paid for the service, but I won't be returning and will be reporting the experience to ClassPass. If you're going to participate in ClassPass, your staff should understand how it works and honor what customers are told.
