The zig-zag line to get out was narrow and my least favorite thing about this store. But I understand the logic behind it as it is pretty cramped inside. Been shopping at HD for long time and seen lots of their help come and go. This is long overdue as…read morethe people Devon (c-service), Danny (pro) and Vickie (cashier) have been there for some time. These three individuals in particular have been so reliable, knowledgeable and committed to helping every time I enter the store on Temecula pkwy. Some employees take control and some employees collect a paycheck. Not everyone is gonna work at HD the rest of their lives and that is OK. Devon, Danny and Vick might not be there 4ever either. What I do know is if I got a question, they answer it with no bull. If I have a problem, they fix it or help me to fix it. If I am having a day, they have a kind word and/or a smile. As I said before, I don't know if they will be at HD forever but, I want them to know how much they have been, are, and will be appreciated going forward. A couple of days ago we went to Home Depot to buy blinds for our window. We knew exactly what we…read morewanted and asked an associate to cut the blind for us. He did, but when we got home the blind was uneven and damaged, completely unusable. The next day we went back to return it. At the return desk, after explaining what happened, the associate had the nerve to tell me that once a blind is cut it cannot be returned--as if we had done something wrong, when it was Home Depot's own employee who cut it incorrectly and damaged it. She then said they "usually don't refund cut blinds" but that they would do it "this one time for me." That attitude was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Customers should not be blamed for a mistake made by Home Depot staff. Shame on you!

He is an Asian gentleman probably in his fifties. Anyway, I haven't received customer service like what he provided in a very long time. He went out of his way to find something for me which included him having to get a ladder and move half way across the store. Climb to the very top shelf to grab the item I was looking for. As someone who was fed up with Home Depot due to a poor experience in the past, this team member changed my perception. I am now a returning customer to the Home Depot. I think retailers need to understand that as consumers we can just go on Amazon and get what we need most of the time. She was so "grumpy or put out " at having to explain . She did not want to be bothered. She also treated Nat (HD assoc) as her lap dog. That set was out of stock so the shopper brought me an SAE set and told me the employee in the tools section told her that metric and SAE are the same exact thing. What? I proceeded to return the tool set to Lowes. It's been upwards of a week and I never received a refund to my card. They must really need the $40. I have only ever frequented this store because it's three miles from my home which is about seven minutes driving time give or take so definitely convenient but every single time, you can't get help and if you do, you're given wrong information. Guess that's why there is the running "joke" about never getting "any assistance at Lowes." I'll stick with Home Depot. A lot further but at least I get my refunds and their employees are knowledgeable.
