Don't bring your equipment here. I specifically requested to have them just look at the mower unit not the mower deck. They decided to do $290 worth of deck work that was not requested and did nothing about the mower itself. Will be filing a complaint with John Deere. FYI when they called me and told me the deck had issues and needed new blades I was told $60 would be what it was going to cost me. read more

Was looking for a John Deere tractor, contacted Valley Center Dist. Spoke to a nice lady, she said she handled Govt. sales but would try to help me out. I needed a quote for a JD 2025R with various attachments. She was super nice gave me some pricing gave to her from the guy handling reg. Sales. She said he would call me. When I did not hear from him I called. He said he was in no hurry to contact me back since he did not have any of my model but had 2 on order. Did not know when they would come in one month , 2 months or never. I asked for a printed quote, he refused said he could not quote us on something he did not have. I stated I already was quoted by the lady by the way he was on the phone with her on a second line when she quoted me. He disputed the numbers she gave me. We them asked if he could check another store for stock he did not want to do that because once a dealer gets them they belong to that dealer. He was rude, unhelpful & arrogant. The good news is our tractor is being delivered this week from another JD dealer that brought it in from Utah for us. He was happy to quote us first then search for one. He was a pleasure to work with. Valley Center lost a $24,000 sale and gets a bad review. Hope he learned his lesson. read more

Took my John Deere riding mower in for a warranty issue. Get a call two days latter suggesting I had been using it as an all terrain vehicle. Guess that just proves the hose attachment deck washer doesn't work. Main issue was mower deck blade belt keeps coming off. No mention of it being covered or fixed. However, they want to sell me new belts and blades on a mower with 16 hours. Picking it up today. Will not go back to this place. They lie and want to rip you off. read more

This is a quality family run operation, and has been there for years. They seem to specalize in tractors / larger power equipment. Unfortunately, I was looking for homeowner landscaping equipment (trimmer, blower / weedeater), and got a unit that had some problems. The Tech was not particularily experienced and the salesman was not committed to satisfying me. I ended up going direct to the manufacturer and determined that the unit was in fact faulty. Again, good operation / people, would not reccomment to the non professional / homeowner for small yard equipment. read more

After picking up my tractor for some repair work and keeping it for 7 weeks, it was returned with a problem with the hydraulics on the front end loader. It was fine when they picked it up. I had them come pick the tractor up again to fix the hydraulics. After two weeks, they called and said the hydraulic screen and hydraulic pump need to be replaced and were on order. Two weeks later they dropped it off without a word. No billing, no comment. The hydraulics still don't work. What is going on????????????? I guess they don't want to fix it. Now I need to search for another tractor repair shop to get it fixed. read more

I waited a month so that service department would not be so busy as to work on a warranty leak in a speedy fashion. I EXPRESSLY told the appointment gal Kelsey that I did not want my tractor picked up for service unless it would be a short turn around time. They picked it up on a Wed at 8am, did not fix it until Fri am, but then told me it would be a week before they would return it. I actually called them late Mon pm in order to find this out. I complained to John Deere about the failure to provide timely service. Then Kelsey called me back and told me she would pull a service tech off of work to bring me the tractor a day early. She hung up on me after telling me her "feelings were hurt" and I was rude for telling her what my complaints were. She has a million different excuses (none of which jive with one another) as to why she cannot provide proper timely customer service i.e. she had no idea her entire store staff would be out of town with the delivery truck/trailer at a trade show, but then she can miraculously come up with a delivery once a complaint is filed. I could continue ad naseum with more of her childish behavior/comments. I will not be using this company again. read more
