Personally I get overwhelmed coming the parking is horrible and it's always full here. I loved the orange juice. My husband order breakfast and he got random curly fries. Personally I come for the queso pastilito. I don't like the guava one they do I prefer the cheese one. I loved the orange juice it's freshly squeezed but overall it's ok.

Love the cafe con leche! Have been going here for years and it's always been great. It's a good quick spot to grab that and a tostada.

It's a hit or miss with this location. I orders a steak sandwich and a batido de trigo. The shake was way too sweet and the steak sandwich was just ok. Service is great and quick.

The Cuban Bread press

Typical, Miami Cuban breakfast cafe with all the pastries, Cuban coffees and small sandwiches. Food was great , coffee was on point ( super hot) and service was super quick. Place is a little small especially given the number of people coming in and out , could use a few more tables and maybe dedicated lines/ropes to keep customers organized. Overall a great and authentic Miami Cuban cafe experience

This place used to be great. Always clean, friendly staff. Delicious food with large portions. I don't know if they changed administration in the last three months but every single time I've been there lately the tables have been dirty and I have had to wait a long time for my order to come through. Last time all the costumers that came after me were served before me. Food portions are definitely smaller now as well. Maybe they just need to retrain their staff? I won't be coming back for another few months because it's just not worth it, there are other faster options around.

Very sorry excuse for a Media Noche sandwich.

WORST Media Noche sandwich I've ever had. Stale bread, not pressed, cold cheese, flaccid baked ham, tasteless pernil. Cuban card needs to be revoked from this location.

extremely dissatisfied

#1 ive been a regular here for a whole year. Ordering the same things on rotation. I have to rush to school at 5 am and I always get a ham and cheese toast... Always put that I AM ALLERGIC to mayonnaiseand butter. Every SINGLE time i get a different order. The ladies at this store already know me, AND my order. When I get there mind you it takes me 30 minutes just to get to them and I always order when leaving my house, I still have to wait for my food to be made. I dont have time to take my time and check for any errors because AS A FOOD PLACE its up to their employees to make sure they aren't poisoning their customers. Every single time I order they mess up my order. Adding pickes, mayonnaise or butter. I work at school from 6am to 6pm and this is my only time to grab a breakfast. When they mess up they literally leave me without eating breakfast and my money spent. When i called the manager only apologized. I demand atleast my money back for this epic mess up. I am tired of this extremely terrible service. Never EVER coming back here. These two pictures show how they didnt even put cheese on one..

I came today and it was busy. Cute interior with pleasant fast service. I tried a spinach empanada, a coconut pastelito and cafe con leche. All were great

Food is good, but the staff all seem like they hate their job. They could care less if you live or die

Food, service and ambiance is 10/10!…read more My husband and I loveee burgers and we love to go around town tasting good burger spots and we can say this burger spot is legit delicious! It's in our top 3 burger spots, hands down. We came to eat today to try out this place for my first time as he has been here before. As soon as I finished my burger, I told my husband I'm writing a review for this amazing place immediately! We've gone to other burger spots in Miami and I was skeptical of all the hype since other places get hyped as well but has let us down. BURGER - single smash patty (my husband had the double patty), cheese, pickles, and sriracha mayo, we added bacon. Usually I like my burger with all the fixins instead of simple, but I gave it a chance anyway and I'm so glad I did! Delicious is an understatement. The burger tasted like perfection - well seasoned and juicy. We were content and satisfied once we finished the burger. FRIES - perfect, fresh, crispy, hot fries with cheese on the side. Fries were delicious at every bite. Cheese tasted good as well. Other places have greasy fries that have a taste of the oil they use, but this place did not! Fries were PERFECT. SERVICE - Everyone was welcoming, helpful and friendly. We had a positive experience and had great service from the cashier on the inside seating area. I love the fact that they served us on REAL plates. It gave us a warm, personalized welcoming feel and almost like if it was home made. This place also sells fresh meat, pasta, sourdough bread and other items. Everything look clean, organized and well kept in cool temperatures. I definitely recommend this place and my husband and I will be back for more!

As for the burger, it definitely hit the spot. A classic smash burger with cheese and pickles done right. The guy at the counter was also very friendly, which made the visit even better.

Although it's not the original location, this location offers plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating! You can either order at the counter or have a staff member take your order at the table. The food was really good, I got a bagel with lox and a coffee. Portions are great and coffee is good. I liked that the outdoor space also offered shade since it gets pretty hot in the sun!

I stopped by this well-established "bakery" chain for a quick bite. I chose the Pinecrest location because I always thought it was the nicer one. Other locations, particularly Doral, leave a lot to be desired in terms of ambiance. That's not to say this location is anything extraordinary, but at least it feels like a place you'd actually want to sit down and visit. It's been a long time since I last came here. I can't remember if they always stayed open until 9 PM on regular days, but I distinctly remember that on weekends at least, they used to close around 6 PM, and that by 5:30 PM the kitchen was often already shutting down. Because I generally wake up around 2 or 3 PM on weekends, this place became impractical for me long ago. I eventually found far better options closer to home that stay open later and offer a much broader selection of bakery/pastry items, all-day breakfast, while also offering sandwiches, entrées, desserts, and just about everything else. Still, after years of rotating through the same places, my friend and I decided to venture out, especially since I had woken up "early" by my standards. We arrived around 5 PM and I was absolutely floored by the menu prices. Wagyu or not, a smash cheeseburger for $25? A seafood fettuccine for $36? At a 3.6-star corner bakery? Dishes that cost around $18 a few years ago, such as the Black Forest ham and cheese scramble with coffee and orange juice, are now effectively $24 once you add the $2 extra charge for the coffee and small orange juice that used to be included. That's a staggering 33% increase from what was already an expensive meal three years ago. And that percentage doesn't tell the whole story, because even back then their prices were already 30% to 50% higher than many of their competitors. And let's be honest: the supposedly superior ingredients didn't exactly create some unforgettable culinary experience. You'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference between their Black Forest ham and the regular ham served elsewhere. Back to yesterday's visit. I had already driven there and didn't feel like searching for another place. Plus, my usual order at bakeries is a ham and cheese croissant, and that happened to be one of the few things on their menu that hadn't reached absurd pricing territory. At around $8, it's arguably one of their better deals, especially considering that a croissant filled with Nutella or some other typical filling costs roughly the same. Granted, it's not even a traditional ham and cheese croissant like the ones found in 99% of bakeries. It's a smaller version with the ham and cheese baked inside, almost like a pastelito. So when you factor this in, it's equally overpriced. Naturally, destiny enjoys playing jokes on me. The waitress informed me that they had already run out of croissants... at 5 PM... in a bakery supposedly known for its croissants. She then explained that they had shifted "more toward their bistro concept." I couldn't help but wonder: what bistro? Adding a few wildly overpriced restaurant dishes to your menu doesn't magically transform a bakery into a bistro. It simply gives the impression that you've drifted away from your original identity. And that's unfortunate because, as a French bakery, the selection here is already surprisingly limited. Compare them to competitors like Bonjour French Bakery and the difference becomes obvious. They simply can't compete. La Boulangerie mostly offers a handful of pastries and some jarred desserts and calls it a day. As for the coffee, both Bonjour French Bakery and Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar completely outclass them. Their coffee is richer, smoother, more flavorful, their prices are more reasonable, and their menus offer a broad selection, from all day breakfast to sandwiches, entrées, as well as pastas. Which brings me to the giant sign in the middle of the restaurant that proudly says "BAKERY" and to the word "BOULANGERIE" itself, the French term for a bakery specializing in bread and baked goods. Those words have never felt more irrelevant. There's a reason this place sits at a 3.6-star average rating as of this review. Had I seen that beforehand, I never would have driven this far based solely on memories from two years ago. I have a simple rule when it comes to restaurants: I don't go anywhere with less than four stars on Yelp. This visit was a good reminder of why.
