This is one of the best Peruvian bakeries! Everything is delicious and fresh. Come here for their bread and breakfast. Their pan Frances and kariokas are so good! I can eat so many of them in one seating. Their jamón del país is also good, just gotta make sure you tell them how to cut the the ham. Their desserts are also good. Ive been coming to this bakery for a long time, this is the first time ive written a review for this business. Let me start off by saying their food is great quality and peruvian food is absolutely the best. Having said that the BIGGEST downfall of this business is the guest service. All of the staff treats everyone as if they are an absolute hinderance to their existence. Everyone is waiting in line to order and there are staff stabding around talking and not helping. Absolutely terrible. As I waited what was definitely over 30 min to place my order I snapped some pics of the baked goods. No one acknowledges you when you arrive. What we ordered Butifarra sandwich, light on meat, literally lathered in mayo top & bottom, you would think I asked for extra mayo... I did not lol. I removed some of the mayo but this sandwich was not edible. The breakfast dish was just ok. We had to wipe down our own table, as did other guest. The employees here do not bus the tables. The table across from us had a spinach pie they clearly didn't like it was left by the previous guest, the employee even offered to replace it and never removed it. It sat there from the time we were on line till we left the establishment. The ambiance here is miserable. I will not return. read more

Don't waste your time coming here, especially if you want to dine in. I came in to get a croissant and waited for about 20 minutes until I was finally able to place an order with the waitress. Mind you, I was the only one in line when I arrived and was ignored when I came in. She glanced at me over the counter and then disappeared to the back not saying a word. When the waitress came out, she kept her gaze low and still didn't say anything. I then asked her if I can get some help and was ignored. I asked the second time to which she responded that she was busy helping another customer and would be with me soon. She wasn't nice at all. To the owner of the bakery: I'm not sure how many reviews about the awful customer service you need to read to make changes here. The food is great but terrible customer service. They act like calling or even coming in is such an inconvenience. As if customers aren't what keeps a business running. I would understand if I came in or called the minute the store opened or 10 before they closed but in the morning and the middle of the day? And it's always like that. A real hidden gem that won't disappoint! I found of this location from some family and was amazed at the excellent quality of sandwiches and assortment of breads available. As a part-Peruvian, I am delighted to see a bakery more geared towards our tastes. There are magnificent desserts and the price is good esp. for cakes and the like. I'm Peruvian born in Peru. With that being said the dude that owns this bakery isn't even Peruvian. The empanadas were not Peruvian empanadas. The butifarra sándwiches we ordered didn't taste anything like us Peruvians make them. If you're from Kendall you know the best Peruvian bakery of all time was Cherries in the same shopping center as the Home Depot. Of course cherries bakery burned down in a fire in the 90's. However I do have some good news there's a bakery called Delizzia bakery Miami that makes the most authentic Peruvian empanadas and desserts I have ever tasted in Miami. The only down side is you've got to order in advance because they are a commercial bakery. They don't have a walk-in store front. The staff that works there is do not care you could see you standing there for literally 10 minutes and just walked past by you like you're not the customer. I sometimes overlook service a bit if the food is great and although the food here is pretty good the service is so bad and so unthoughtful that it makes for a terrible experience even if you're ordering out to go. I am Peruvian and this bakery is a replica of Bakeries in Peru, it feels like home. What I love about this bakery is that it is family owned which is why it might be low staff but people should understand that instead of writing bad comments. If anyone wants to know what a real Peruvian bakery is, this is it. It might not be 100% like it because obviously the ingredients and in Peru, they are made by hand and it doesn't have any bad chemicals like the United States of America puts in our food. But this is definitely a 10/10 place. My favorite is the chicha morada because they make it from scratch and if you're Peruvian you know what I mean. My favorite sandwich is "Pan con Pollo". We ordered some empanadas, which is quite different from the Argentine ones we are more familiar with. Coffee is delicious and the bread rolls has good texture. Hidden all the way to the back in the corner of The Shops of Kendall, in a modestly decorated space, this Peruvian bakery offers one of the best artisanal breads i've ever had. Prices are good and the bread is always fresh, customer service sometimes is not that great but who cares, i always go to buy a dozen of their sandwich bread or as i particularly call it: pan de agua, to take home. if you guys know what "Palmeras" are...they have the best darn Palmeras i have eaten in my whole life. This is my favorite Peruvian bakery in Miami so far. They have the best bread ever from Perú. The bread has a soft inside and somewhat crunchy on the outside. it reminds me so much of the French bread from Perú. I indulge everyone in a while ,and come here for brunch with my mom. I went this past Saturday due to my moms birthday, and she has always been looking for a place that will serve Lurin breakfast just like Perú. and from all the reviews I brought her here and she fell in love! The breakfast Lurin comes with a cup of coffee or you can choose a soda which that's what I did,and I got a inca kola which is my favorite ,and it comes serve with French bread, Tamal originated from Perú as well as Chicharon on the side with purple onions, and camote. I wanted to write a review about this bakery for many different reasons. I also went back and read some of the reviews and wanted to clarify. First starters this is a bakery a true Peruvian bakery like if you were in lima walking up to the bake shop in the corner for your morning bread. This is not your now common Peruvian restaurant. So for the person who wanted a Suspiro a la Limena that's a dessert that isn't commonly found in a bakery because it's simply not baked and more gourmet. The other thing that must be clear is that no one who works at this store is actually Peruvian the owners lived in Peru and have very little employees and or service skills. Anyone who has been here simply knows that the food is authentic and amazing and has to go knowing that the guy running the shop has a crude face and no people skills and that they are going to wait. The store serves authentic Peruvian breads that are soft inside and crunchy and most importantly fresh. Someone said the stuff is frozen I don't know about that but I can tell you it's great. The cause is good but not my fav dish. Their empanadas have the most amazing True Peruvian crust which is flaky and not fried and yes like in Peru they serve it with lime. Also you can order little breads to make party sandwich he's just like you had at your 5th birthday if you are from Peru which again only a person. From Peru would know. So in short this place is great for anyone but if you are born in peru this as authentic as you get. Now if you like Peruvian food or think you eat Peruvian food. Cause you had lomo saltado this place is not for you. Now if you like soft delicious bread try their pan con pollo, or pan con asado. Their danishes are also pretty great. For me this one of the hidden gems of Miami, and since I am married to a Peruvian I have been blessed to find this place. We usually come here for breakfast but today I will be doing the formal review for the catering. Don't worry I will give a second review on the epic breakfast here for another day. It been our tradition to order mini sandwiches and empanadas for our son birthday and this year we continue the tradition. Located in a strip mall in Kendall and 127 avenue, the bakery is small with several tables inside. We ordered 100 butifarras sandwiches, 100 chicken salad sandwiches, 50 beef empanadas, and 50 balls of causas. The butifarra sandwich is the Peruvian version of a cured ham sandwich in a freshly baked round bread. It includes a seasoned mayo, lettuce and if you want an extra kick seasoned red onions. Trust me these sandwiches are awesome and even though we ordered 100 they always fly off the trays. The Peruvian version of the of the chicken salad sandwich is served on a mini crisp croissants, and has good chunks of white chicken and tangy dressing. The beef empanadas are made with buttery and crispy exterior which makes it unique from the Argentinian version which has a tasteless exterior. Last but not least the mini causas, which are mashed yellow potatos stuffed with a chicken salad and pepper and than rolled up to little balls. The causas are an explosion of flavor in your mouth and sometimes you can order it with crab salad too. Every year when we order these party favorite they run out within the first hour. They extremely filling and tasty, I would recommend them for any party planning. We are already counting down for the next birthday in the family. read more

You can get better in Lima, but these are quite decent -Sauteed pork sandwich (chicharron): comparable to what you can get in Lima. -Butifarra (another form of ham sandwich): they make their own Jamon del Pais. Pretty good. -Milhojas: you can get them with custard or with dulce de leche. Both are pretty good. -Chard pie (pastel de acelga): Very good. All portions are "king size" btw :) Not a fancy place.
