Dave and Donna have thought of anything you may need. There's a bar, 24-hr access to coffee, tea and water, board games, pool table, a mini indoor golf set, spacious outdoor seating to take in the beauty of the property or have a drink by one of the fire pits, even microwave popcorn! Josie was great. She showed us around our floor (when you rent a room you get the entire floor) and talked about locking up and things like that. The Breakfast portion is on the lighter side. Cereal and juice are available. Josie offered to get pastries in the morning but we said we didn't need it, there are too many great places for brunch in the neighborhood. The rooms were clean, the main bathroom seemed brand new (the second bathroom in the bedroom was nice to have as well) and the location was fantastic. I'd much rather pay a little more to stay here as opposed to getting a hotel on the other side of Park Slope. If you need a place to stay in Park Slope I recommend considering this place.

You want a fast break, you don't want to house hunt, you don't have enough people for a share, you don't want to stay in a horrible depressing flea bag for in-city rates - you just want a room that doesn't scare you for the few hours you are going to actually crash in it before jumping up to greet the dawn by the bay, hop on a loaner bike and take off, or walk till you drop on the beach. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the backyard was the perfect place to relax, spread out, and enjoy nature. Marty and Elyse had great tips for cycling destinations (and for local activities like farmers markets) and we were so pleased to have joined one of Marty's historical bike tour - highly recommended!
