This is an update from my last posted review. I was offered a free entree via the owner on my yelp review, but I decided to pay & give them a second try. Today I ordered my food around 2:05pm & it was promptly delivered around 2:27pm (pretty good timing this time around). We ordered their hibachi chicken & steak with crab Rangoon & Rice. I also ordered their California sushi roll minus the cucumber. Both entrees arrived fresh, hot & ready to eat! We really enjoy it! Their ping sauce (a spin on shrimp sauce) is tasty as well! It was really good with the sushi dipped in it. Overall I'm satisfied, I hope this level of service remains consistent. If so we will be frequent clients. Thanks ! read more

Ordered through DoorDash and it was very quick on everyone's part. I'm not too sure what the inside looks like though. I got the lo mein and crab ragoons and it was good! I don't normally do reviews because I feel it's up to each person but I'll be honest, I paid 45 bucks for not a lot of food (a kids meal, Philly, spider, and American dream). The sushi rolls were pretty small, especially the spider roll (5 pieces). After I picked it up and started driving home I was hopeful it would be really good at least but again, I was somewhat disappointed. I just don't feel the value is there for the amount of food and again, I was just all around disappointed. read more

Went here for lunch during work and immediately was not impressed. Service was slow. Sushi was not good, and it was served on paper plates. Left after eating and stoped at Casey's bc to get more food because the portions were small. My coworker ended up puking in the Casey's bathroom due to the sushi. They're always so quick with getting your food out! I love getting their chicken fried rice, fried dumplings, and crab Rangoon's. And they have chili oil available if you ask, it makes everything so great, especially with their yum yum sauce! read more

Disappointed!!!!!!!First, it's hibachi so I expected to see my food being cooked, not the case. The food was just warm and every dish had a soy based sauce on it. Great service. Great portions for a big eater and they haven't raised their prices like other Asian restaurants in the area. Love supporting them and feel that they always deliver a fair value for the price and I've never had anything I did not like. If you like spicy, highly recommend the Mala Chicken! read more

Their sushis are excellent, just the right bite size. They have a lot of variety. For the hibachi, they give you so much, me and my fiancé ate it for 3 days. Their own pink sauce is delicious too. Their soups are excellent, we regularly order pick up, however I must say a few times we sat in the restaurant or outside at the tables. Been here numerous times but always forget to take a photo of the food! The service is amazing. The owner always remembers my orders and is very friendly. The food here is outstanding. Whether you're getting hibachi or sushi you will not be disappointed. The pings roll is my personal favorite. Normally when I go to other restaurants and order sushi, I am given way more rice than fish. Not here. Here the rice to fish ratio is perfect and the rolls aren't so tiny you have to order 3 to be full. I highly recommend pings. read more

I ordered takeout of hibachi. The steak tasted like jerky and had a very strange aftertaste. The rice was also not fried rice, it was just plain rice with no vegetables. I got a small serving of carrots that tasted like they came straight out of a can. The crab Rangoon weren't bad but just tasted like straight cream cheese. read more

Ate here once like 3 years ago. Ordered an egg roll and teriyaki beef with white rice. To go. The egg roll was cold and half empty. 1 bite and I was done. The teriyaki beef was inedible. I'm Asian but even then I'm not that picky. I've never ever thrown away food. I took a couple bites and threw it all out. I should have taken it back. It tasted like soap was in it. First and foremost, the food here was great. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli along with a dynamite roll. Both were excellent and tasted fresh. So, Pings gets massive points for the most important item, food! Here's my issues: I feel I was a little misled my the "hibachi" part of Pings Hibachi. There is no hibachi in site, it must be in the back where we can't see it. Side note - the menu does have hibachi items to order. I was a little unsure of whether I was supposed to order at the front, wait for a server or just sit down hoping to be seen. I ended up ordering at the counter then sat at a booth to wait for my food. While waiting I saw several more confused customers. Really good if you want decently priced Chinese food, or cheap sushi. My personal favorite is the double dragon roll. The sesame and general tsos chicken are delicious, and i highly recommend both the spring rolls and the dumplings. Not the best place to get sushi in Warrensburg, imo, but if you're ballin on a budget everything here is pretty good read more

Mediocre, not impressed. Tried the hibachi chicken. Crab Rangoon was better than average and came with a sauce I assume is for dipping the Rangoons that was fairly tasty. The main dish was rice, chicken, a sauce I would guess was an attempt at teriyaki and a few carrots on the side. It was more than I could possibly eat in rice but the chicken was skimpy. The sauce was HEAVILY salty and not much other flavor. The entire overly large pile of rice was needed to absorb the salty sauce to make it palatable. The carrots were done well though. Bottom line is the food is not any better than other Asian restaurants in town but on the more expensive side for what I received. read more

I'm honestly not sure how this place got all these good reviews, but the food is terrible. I thought I would give this place a second because maybe the were just having a bad day but that was a mistake. My shrimp and fried rice was dry and overcooked. My husbands shrimp lo mein was extremely mushy. The donuts were the only decent item. Smh I'm highly disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

Best Chinese in Warrensburg. Had General Tso chicken and it was as I expect out of an American Chinese restaurant. Not over fried and the sauce was not as spicy as I like but I will ask for a higher level of spice next time. Wish they had delivery but I am willing to call in and get it. read more

My absolute favorite restaurant here in Warrensburg. They give so much food for the price, and the food is pretty good. One box can last me a whole day of meals, which is like $9. I'm so happy with it. My favorite dish is their Steak Lo Mein. I'm not sure why but I prefer their Lo Mein over any other Chinese restaurant. It's addicting. And soo much food. read more

I ordered for pick up. The woman didn't understand what I said, which was frustrating. I ordered egg drop soup and beef fried rice. The soup was ok and the rice was really gross. The rice was hard and tasted very over seasoned. I will not be going back. Prices was way to high for the quality of food. read more

This place is underrated.. Given the restaurant options Warrensburg has to offer, this place is where it's at!! The Coconut Shrimp, Steak Hibachi, General Tso's Chicken are the bees knees. I dined in after the place had been newly open for a few weeks. My husband and I both ordered hibachi dinners along with a sushi roll. Even if you dine in, food is served in to-go containers. The hibachi was decent at first but then as I dug in more I realized how severely salty it was. I liked their egg rolls but the sushi roll was sub par, and the worst part of it all was the hair my husband found in his food. We both immediately lost our appetites. The employees were friendly and I had high hopes for this place, but I was let down. I prefer Oriental Cuisine for sushi but I'll drive out towards KC next time I'm craving hibachi. read more

I have only been here once, and it is still a pretty new place being only open for a couple weeks now...if that. I got the General chicken combo with fried rice and crab Rangoon to-go. They weren't really super busy when I showed up at about 11:30AM. I was 3rd in line and it took a total of 20 minutes from the time I walked in till I had my food. There were also about 6-7 people waiting on their orders as well when I walked in. So, in my opinion they were pretty timely. The sauce on the general chicken was hands down the best tasting I've ever had here in Warrensburg. The chicken itself had spent a little too much time in the wok because some of it was pretty tough and over cooked. The fried rice was very good, and the crab Rangoon was good as well. The only thing I noticed while waiting on my food was a lot of confusion every time they brought other peoples food out. They would go up to everyone and ask if it was their order before finally finding the right person. Maybe if they took names or order numbers that would clear that up. As of now, I will continue to go back and look forward to trying other items on the menu. read more
