Not only did I get great service before but since reopening after the mandatory closure, this salon has gone above and beyond to ensure the safety and health of their customers and staff. I have mixed feelings about this place. I've been here twice now and the first time I had a great experience and the guy that did my nails did a beautiful job and provided great service. My second experience was not the same. The lady that did my nails did not do a good job she kept pinching me and then messed up my nails and instead of redoing it she just kind of blew it off and painted over it. Here's the owner Dani cutting off my nails after I asked for a refund. An employee was being rough with the electric file, burning me, and verbally yelling at me, and I told her he was hurting me she responded "there's no blood how was he hurting you." She also claimed I "just wanted a free service, and couldn't afford my nails." This was my second time this week coming, the first time I got a shellac rebase on acrylic nails, and the same night I got them done the shellac was peeling so I went to get them fixed today and was treated so poorly. Very unprofessional, 2-3 employees were yelling at me chiming in on my conversation with the owner. As well as 2 customers. My nails are sore, and I have cuts around my fingers. Zero sanitation on tools, used old files and didn't even change the nail drill bits. Well I went in and got a rebase and a color change manager told me she was going to charge me 35 ended up with a 40 bill just for a rebase kept getting my cuticles cut and one hand is coffin the other is bubble shaped she didn't even seem like she was rushing just took long with sloppy work. Definitely done with the nail salons in Colorado I got overcharged for a basic design that isn't even consistent won't be coming back. The rebase was even sloppy like one hand was okay on shapes but the more I look at them the more they differ. I had previously told the lady doing my nails that I had spent 100 on my nails this week getting them fixed and what not and she told me to stop going to the cheap places well when the cheap places do better I'm astonished. read more

I've been coming for a long time for pedis. Easy to walk in most of the time, but I usually try to make a same day appointment. quite a few technicians are good, and Angie is my favorite. My toes always look great for weeks. Weeks! Massage chair, cleanliness-that's all table stakes. I also appreciate the attention Danni, the manager, gives to customer service. The technician left my heels in even worse condition that when I came in and open mouth coughed and sneezed on my legs. I hate leaving bad reviews but this place is ridiculous. Went with a gf. It is seriously rare I give one star on Yelp but both of my experiences at Pink & White Nails were terrible. I first went to Mia since she was highly reviewed on here, she wasn't friendly and did a subpar job period. Then I came back last night for a pedicure and went to a guy who managed to cut me TWICE and kept hitting his hands against the freshly painted nail polish (it's actually making me laugh thinking about how ridiculous the 45 minutes was). They were the worst two pedicures I have had in recent years. The polishes are also super old, no good magazines etc. Back to the drawing board! read more

I'm not one to give one-star reviews unless a place COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY deserves it. Pink & White hardly deserves one star. I went in thinking I was treating myself to a shellac mani before my company Christmas party, but I left feeling angry and annoyed. When I first went in, I asked for a french shellac mani and I asked for a small gold line under the white of the french design. The guy told me no. No explanation. Just no. So, I said ok, well can I just do a french? He turned to walk away, but said "ya" really quietly, under his breath. I should have walked out at that point. But, I didn't... As he started to look at my hands, he told me my nails were too short for french. I've never had long nails, but have had a french manicure MANY times. Again, I should have left at this point. But, I didn't...I told him I would leave if he didn't want to do it and he just smiled and laughed. What? He ended up getting going on the manicure, but then another gal came over and they started tickling and flirting with each other, as he was filing my nails. Are you kidding? At this point, I really couldn't believe this was all happening. But, then he and the girl said I had man hands. That's right. Right in front of me. If my nails hadn't been half done and under the UV light, I would have walked out right then. As it was, I just glared at him the rest of the time and counted the minutes until I could leave. When he was done, the manicure was so awful that my 3 year old could have done a better job. And I, in no way, have man hands! When he ran my credit card, he told me I should tip in cash. This was the icing on the cake. I looked at him, mouth agape that he even thought he deserved a tip at all, and said, "Ha! The fact that you think I will be tipping you at all after how rude you were the whole time, the shitty job you did, and saying I had man-hands, is hilarious. I will never be back." First off, the good. The woman who did my nails did a really good job on my nails - I have icky dry cuticles and she worked hard to clean them up without any mishaps. The, bad -- the manicurist pulled the cuticle tools out of her drawer, not disinfecting solution or a sealed package. And as I washed my hands I did not see her do any disinfection, she just put the tools she just used on me back in the drawer. Ewwwww. At best, they are disinfecting the tools with some slight of hand, but that is no reassurance to the customer. It needs to be more obvious. At worst, they are not properly disinfecting at all -- and clients are at risk of contracting fungal infections, hepatitis or even HIV. I will never go back. read more

Do not go here. They use the same tools without sanitizing. It is a shop with a few skilled people and a lot of hacks. They messed my nails do badly I had to go to a doctor get antibiotics and was in pain for three weeks, I did not get do much as a dirty from them, I could pursue legal actions but have chosen not to. Instead of being happy, she came back complaining about how rude the manager was and how unclean everything seemed. I agree with other posters that some negative reviews almost kept me away. But I'm really glad I went. As I live like, 5 blocks away from this place, I was *really* hoping this place was decent. And it was better than decent; it was a really great experience! There were a few other patrons there when I arrived on a Sunday afternoon. There was no wait (woo hoo!). Deena (sp?) was my nail technician and she was fantastic. I got a shellac manicure and a polish change on my toes. She did my toes first (they look great) and then started on my nails. She was really thorough with the nail and cuticle shaping, and not a hint of "ouch" like some other experiences I've had. I had glitter shellac as the tips of a French manicure & she put 3 coats on to really make the glitter pop (I'm gonna try to post a pic with my review). I was really impressed with her, overall, actually. My nails turned out awesome and it didn't take a long time, despite her thoroughness. Plus 20% off for their grand opening! What more could you ask for? Oh and their facilities were clean, roomy and looked well maintained (in case you were wondering). Hot damn. I may have just found my new nail place. read more

Went for the gel powder manicure and they did a great job. When I went to check out I was charged $45 instead of $35. When I asked my tech why the extra $10, the advertised price is $35 she shrugged, said that is what she charged and walked away. Tried to find someone else to help and nobody was available. AVOID THIS SALON. I drive by this salon every day from work and although it had very mixed reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Terrible decision. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon! The man that did my no chip manicure put my foils on to remove the previous no-chip I still had on, and as I was waiting for the acetone to work, he decided to go outside to his car- (which I could see from my seat), and proceeded to smoke a cigarette! I figured he'd have someone else do the rest of my manicure, but no, he came in after 15 minutes smelling like a cloud of smoke- didn't wash his hands- and proceeded to remove my polish with his fingernail!! I almost barfed! It was so awful, I should have got up and left right then and there, but for some reason I waited it out thinking that at least the manicure would be ok. Surprise! It wasn't. 3 of my nails chipped the next day. Also, the tools they use did NOT look sanitary. I couldn't wait to get out of there. He also kept asking me throughout the service why I was so quiet...hmm...I don't know, maybe because every time you open your mouth I feel like I'm getting second hand smoke?? Ugh. I've been going to Pink and White Nails for years because it is convenient and I am usually happy with the quality of manicures and pedicures. Some of the nail techs are excellent, others just so-so. My concern relates more to cleanliness and Covid-protocols. Some nail techs keep their stations very clean, while other areas/stations are dirty/dusty. Typically, a few staff members and clients are not wearing masks or their mask is below their nose, which is especially disturbing given that Denver is under a mask mandate and the airborne Omicron variant is spreading like crazy. read more

I didn't mind this place. I came in because it was the only nail salon open on Monday that I could find in the highlands area. I was there for about an hour and fifteen minutes for a pedi and mani. The staff were all friendly and pleasant. The basic pedicure included a massage with hot stones, which I would expect to be an added fee but it wasn't. I don't think there's many other nail salons that can beat the price for the service I got. My nails look great and I only paid $36 plus tip. The place could be a little cleaner in terms of dusting, but there was nothing that stood out as being unsanitary. I would give it four stars if the guy doing my nails wouldn't have taken a break in the middle of doing my nails to go outside and smoke. I drive past Pink and White almost daily, so I wanted to give it a shot. I walked in on Sunday morning, and told there was a 20 minute wait - turns out, the wait was only 5 minutes - score! That's about the only good thing to come out of this experience. During the pedicure, the nail tech spent most of her time holding my feet, rather than actually scrubbing them or cleaning up the cuticles. I don't really understand what she was doing. I had to ask her to scrub with the pumice, opposed to just, literally, holding it next to my foot. Her hair was down and over the shoulder, which was fine, until it started touching my feet while she was hunched over. Awful. The manicure left me with bloody fingers, and was equally as frustrating. Because of it's proximity to my house and bangin' price point, I might try Pink and White again-- but certainly not with the same nail tech. read more

Great experience - went on a Friday around 4pm. Called ahead to ensure they could fit me in but even around 5-5:30pm when I left it wasn't crazy packed. Very large, open space with plenty of pedicure chairs. New and clean. I had Lee and I will definitely be going back to her. She spoke very clear English and was friendly and sweet. Plus, she was interesting to talk to while I had my manicure done. I could tell she took her time, did a great job cleaning up my cuticles and the paint job was impeccable. I moved couches and did lawn work after the manicure and nothing has chipped! For $33, this has been my favorite mani/pedi since moving to Denver from NYC. read more

Besides that fact I went to go get some nails today and I asked for chrome nails, they told me I had to get it over shellac which I knew would be more expensive but I had asked if I could get them with the regular nail polish (I had never gotten these before) they told me I could only get in with shellac which was fine with me. During the whole experience I felt like my nails were super lumpy and uneven! I waited until the end just to see how they would turn out because she constantly was trying to file them throughout the service. During the time of polishing my nails she seemed super rushed because The fact that there was a lot of clients waiting which I understand but they should take care of one client at a time- besides that I was hoping to get the mirror chrome looking look and I didn't! My mom and I have been going here for a year. I enjoyed some of the nails they have done on me, but they have done something's that were ridiculous. They have drilled holes through my moms nail then blamed it on her, they also grabbed her face and shook it several times because she didn't have cash. They never treated me like that, the only problem was how they did my nails. This is the last time I'm getting my nails done here. Today I went in to get my nails done for prom and wanted an almond shaped nail with ombré glitter. Last year at prom they did pretty good when I asked for that so I was pretty excited to go get them done again. When I sat down the lady was super nice. Once she started working on my nails she kept digging into my skin with the file. Then made the acrylic to thick and clumpy, I asked several times to file it to make it look smooth and thin but she kept saying no they're fine. She began buffing out my nail and continued to cut my skin even more. I paid $45 plus tip for my nails before she started painting them. She started painting my nails and painted them thick, clumpy, not how I wanted them, and ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. When she messed up she would run a dry nail brush over it and made it even worse. She set a top coat and say me down to dry them. I was completely disappointed. I walked home and showed my mom and she was so disgusted we walked back and she complained about how bad my nails looked. They told us to come back in 30 minutes. When we came back someone else looked at my nails and started laughing then brought more people over to look at it so everyone was laughing. That person began to take my nail polish off then started buffing my nails again, but she wasn't buffing my nail she was buffing my finger yet again cutting my finger. The same lady who did my nails when I went there earlier came over and began working on my nails. I told her my nails were to thick and she began to file them down. When she was done with that she began buffing my nails but was aggressively doing it which like the many other times cut my skin. I showed her the photo I wanted and she said she couldn't do that and she has to do something else, so I told her to just do a French tip. She agreed and started doing my nails THE SAME EXACT CLUMPY WAY LIKE EARLIER. I told her that's not how I like it then she freaked out saying I should've gotten the shellac cause that would be easier for her, then took a dry nail brush and threw it at me. She began working with a smaller brush and making them look decent. She put a top coat on and say me down to dry my nails. After 10 minutes I got up and walked out. They screamed at me saying I had to pay and I told them I wasn't gonna pay extra after the crappy job they did. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! There is so much potential for this to be a great salon given the space however it falls short. I stuck around for a recent mani because it was cheaper and there is a reason. The owner goes out for frequent smoke breaks while working on nails. One has to question the cleanliness of the tools used given all of the supplies (toilet paper, towels, etc) are sitting out in the open. They also do not use the correct polish combination for the CND 7 day polish. I have since found out that salons can be certified for the use of 7 day of which this one is not. read more
