    Pineapple fried rice
    Dawn D.

Went with a friend for lunch. I got the Pina colada margaritas . It was really good and a cute looking drink. I got to eat The Pineapple fried rice with chicken. It was delicious. Too much of it but the amount I ate was fantastic. My friend got the cashew nut chicken. That was really tasty also. We ate outside as it was a beautiful day. We sat around and talked for a couple hours. They didn't try to rush us out. Our waitress was really sweet and very pleasant to chat with. We will definitely go back again. This was my 3rd time eating here. There are so many other dishes I want to try. So if your in the Mystic Village area and looking for a delicious meal then give this place a try

This place is located in the Olde Mistick Village. We wanted to grab some dinner before the Christmas light show and holiday festivities began that night. Wasn't too busy when we came by, sat pretty quickly with menus. Menu is pretty big with a mix of Thai, Chinese, Japanese(sushi) and Vietnamese foods. We didn't want to order too much as we couldn't take leftovers back to where we were staying. Waitress confirmed the dinner portion sizes were filling. We just got 2 entrees to share. Pink Basil Fried Rice w/Chicken: pretty good! Kind of like a Thai fried rice with peppers and tomatoes. Rice was soft from the sauce they cooked it with or could've been fresh rice from the cooker. Flavor was good! Chef Special: Beef Hor Fun Noodles(beef chow fun): This was delicious! Nicely wok fried, good amount of tender beef, fat flat azz noodles were tasty. Just greasy enough like Chinatown! We enjoyed our dinner, prices were fine, staff and service was ok too. We were warmed up and full, ready for cold weather outside. Afterwards we hit up the Christmas activities in the village!

The seafood pho is "I'll have what she's having" good! I chose level 2 spice, but I like some heat more than most do. I'm sure the milder versions are also amazing. They give you a decent amount of fresh seafood too. Worth the price. Try it! Their sushi is just as good. The ambience is great. Good for dates and families. Wander around the village while you're there.

A great spot in Olde Mistick Village for lunch or diner is Pink Basil. Whether you cozy up with a warm bowl of comforting curry during a pop up summer storm or looking to be adventurous and try a new Asian dish--this is the spot. The vibe and decor of the restaurant is like Wonderland. Beautiful light fixtures, flowers and branches covering the walls, and different shades of pink, it feels like a garden. The space is cozy with sections for a small dining room, bar area, and sushi bar. The staff have always been nice and friendly. The menu has a wide variety of Asian dishes from Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, and etc. Fried rice dishes, pho, sushi, curry just to name a few. The menu also offers a lot of customizations, vegetarian, gluten free, and healthy options. You can choose spice levels on most dishes, and they don't hold back on the heat! If you can't do spicy food, i recommend level 1 or no spice. On our most recent visit we shared a Papaya Salad that I enjoyed. Typically, I'm not a fan of fish sauce, but this dish didn't have the usual strong taste. We were also able to order the salad without peanuts. I was excited to order a Pumpkin Curry with tofu, choosing a medium spice. The bowl was like a warm hug and it was a big helping that I took half of my meal home. My husband has tried the Crispy Hainanese Chicken and Bok Choy Ginger with Chicken. He has enjoyed his dishes and he is a tough critic. We look forward to our next visit at Pink Basil and plan to explore their sushi options next.

Very welcoming staff. We were seated right away. Of course it was a weekday for lunch so the place wasn't too full. I would have given 5 stars but for two issues. They really need to update or reprint their menus as the writing on the descriptions are rather small and the other was their cleaning team. They kept banging dishes and utensils to the point it was rather annoying. Pretty loud banging going on. Other than that our dining experience was great. Food came out and was delicious. Although my description of the shrimp teriyaki said simmering about brown and red rice, which I thought I'd try but what came out was white rice. Which I prefer so I didn't complain, but do question the menus accuracy. Payment was thru a tablet brought to the table so that made it easy although not sure how to get a printed receipt.

We had dinner at 5:30 and were seated on outdoor patio.. 4 of us ordered drinks and dinner. Specifically asked to serve the drinks before the meal. No. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and my mother ordered pad Thai. My sister and brother preferred sushi . Well the 3 dinners came out before the drinks. I don't like that would like to relax abit. Dinner was good but disappointing with the rush.

This is my third time coming to pink basil ! And it is still one of my top places for Thai food . The restaurant is located right in mystic village, which is the perfect place to walk around after having lunch or dinner ! It's also located right next to the mystic aquarium! They have outdoor seating with covering perfect for the summer . And the inside of the restaurant has comfortable seating and pink cushions ( so cute ) The main reason I come here is because The pad Thai is amazing I get it every time ( I just can't help myself ). My husband without fail gets the pink basil entree which is drunken noodles with veggies and your choice protein and adjusted to your spice level ! Our waiter mark was fabulous so sweet and took great care of us ! As always 10/10 ! We will obviously be back . It's a must stop anytime we go to mystic

Nonya Curry with beef. Soooo yummmy, quite sweet though, but the kick/ spice helped balance it out (which is customizable btw)

Everything was so good! The food was full of delicious flavor, loved the curries! The sushi was tasty! The lava drinks were so yummy! The service was so nice too, all of the servers were very kind to us, and helpful. To top it off the restaurant is adorable! I love the vines and flowers everywhere

Food: I have not had Thai in a while, but I think this place has quite the variety for a menu. Between sushi, Thai, and other dishes there's a lot to choose from! Our appetizers both were very delicious and simple, it wasn't too filling either. I got the Mee Goreng noodles with a spiciness level of 1, which was plenty for me (I don't have a good spice tolerance). It was very delicious, a little on the blander side maybe due to spice overload, but otherwise good. Service: our waitress was very nice and took care of us promptly when we needed drinks and boxes (expect to take something home the portion sizes are huge)! Atmosphere: it's very cute in this restaurant and if you haven't been to the Olde Mystic Village, it's in a very nice location. There's also a sushi bar where you can watch them prep your sushi! Overall, 3.8/5 for me, I wasn't crazy for the entree as much as I was for the apps, but I would go here to try something else!

Good pho and summer rolls. Pho had a tom yum style soup base + spices. Loved the flavor! I ordered online.

My kids loved the avocado and shrimp tempura rolls, which they both add so fast. My wife enjoys her scallops and ordered the scallon in black bean sauce. She said the scallop is fresh and tastes sweet. Couldn't help it but I did steal some of scallop and can confirm it was fresh and sweet. For a lunch special we ordered general tso and sesame chicken which were both crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated with a generous amount of sauce. The lunch special comes with a choice of soup. My kids chose the egg drop soup and I chose the hot and sour soup. Both soups were good. Why not 5 star? I thought the bathroom could use some improvement? At first my wife said it smelled like poop, and I really thought it was just her thinking that. Keep in mind that its 2 bathrooms, one for the ladies and one for the gents. When I stepped into the restroom for men, I immediately was overtaken by the smell of poop. They need to improve their ventilation system and also put in some air freshener. If it weren't for the bathroom issue, I'd definitely rate this place 5 stars. Food was amazing, would definitely come here again.

The patio outside is really clean and comfy, and it's a great spot to have lunch. What really caught my attention was the Peking Duck Quesadilla , it was AMAZING. The flavors all worked so well together, and I would definitely order it again. One thing that was a bit of a problem was that it was kind of hard to eat, everything kept falling apart, but it was so good that it didn't really matter. We got a bunch of other things too, like General Tso's Chicken, coconut rice, crab rangoons, coconut shrimp, and a shrimp sushi roll. everything was really good and fresh. The coconut rice was a great side dish, and the crab rangoons were gone in no time. The drinks were also really good, One thing though, they didn't put a lot of liquor in them, but they were still fun to drink. Our server was really great, and did a fantastic job, especially since we had a big group of 12 people. We get that it can be tough to handle a table that size. The only problem we had was with the timing of the food. Some of us got our appetizers and main courses before the others had even gotten their appetizers. It wasn't a huge issue, but it's something the kitchen could work on to make sure big groups feel like they're eating together. It would be great if they could improve that, so everyone can enjoy their meal at the same time. I would definitely go back to TigerFish. It's a great choice if you want something different from the usual Block Island food. They have really tasty food, great drinks, and a nice quiet atmosphere.

We visited midweek, so it was fairly quiet. The restaurant is conveniently located just a short walk from the ferry and offers plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. Service was fast, friendly, and especially helpful when it came to identifying which menu items were vegan or could be modified, which we really appreciated. We ordered the B.Y.O. Tofu Spring Rolls and the Pork Potstickers. Both appetizers were generously sized. The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, but having to assemble them myself at the table was a bit messy and took away from the enjoyment. I would have preferred them to come fully prepared. That said, they were still quite tasty. The pork potstickers, on the other hand, were a standout and an easy favorite of the meal. One downside was that the doors were open to enjoy the beautiful weather, but that also meant we were battling flies throughout our meal, which was a little distracting. Overall, Tigerfish was a great find with good food, knowledgeable service, and a convenient location. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our visit and will definitely return on a future trip to Block Island.
