I came into the store looking for a specific product, and they didn't have it in stock. The associate asked what the product was, I told her the name, and even showed her a photo. She called her manager, and they told me they would order it and have it in stock. I was told to come back in two weeks. I came back two weeks later, and the product was never ordered. It wasn't on the shelf, and nothing had changed. While it may not seem like a huge issue, this is a customer service problem. I was trying to be a loyal customer and spend my money at their establishment. I took them at their word and made a return trip based on what they promised, only to be misled. What's frustrating is the lack of honesty and accountability. Don't tell a customer you're going to order something if you have no intention of doing so. Found this place on Yelp and immediately wanted to check them out based off the huge selection and reviews so I stopped in randomly and picked up my tried and true LA Girl Pro HD concealer that I've used for years and YEARS. What was inside their LA Girl Pro HD concealer is definitely NOT the usual formula. LA Girl Pro HD concealer has a huge following because of the richness of the formula, it's coverage, and the color matching greatness. Whatever is being sold at this beauty supply as LA Pro Girl HD concealer lacks all those qualities. It's thin and watery with poor coverage which forces you to use much more product than usual. Again, I've used this same exact product and shade for YEARS. Just to be sure, I went to another beauty supply for the same exact product and lo and behold - - the formula I'm used to. If they got a bad batch I feel sorry for them because a lot of customers will likely think they're selling fake/bootleg products which was my first thought actually. Very Santee Alley MAC on the corner kinda vibes. UPDATE: Just got off the phone with them and after explaining they're totally open to swapping it out! So glad! I went there today and I didn't appreciate how my mother and I were treated at the cash register. I'm assuming it was the owner, he seemed to have a bad attitude, didn't greet or speak whatsoever until I spoke first to great him! Then, he proceeded to slam my items onto the counter, I'm looking around to see if the other customers there noticed, they did. The store itself is nice. They have many things to choose from. The only thing that I do not like at the store is that there are not many choices of hair colors when it comes to braiding hair and crochet hair, for an ex: (TT30, TT27 and Etc). Now... The reason why I am leaving a review today is beacause, of how I was treated. I have been shopping at this store for over a year, and today was the first time, I was treated rudely. 1st I asked if I could look at the edge control, that was behind the counter... the cashier, wouldn't let me hold it, he kept it distance from me and said he'll show me, so he takes the top off, I said no, I would like to see the jar itself, so he opens it up more , so I can see inside, that's when I asked to see the top, so that I could make sure, I was purchasing the right one, so instead he flipped the top over and lets me read it, "seriously!?". 2nd while in the middle of him scanning my products a customer who had been helped minutes before I was attended to, had decided to come back a couple of minutes later to purchase something else.... so the cashier leaves me standing there waiting and goes to the other register and attends to the previous customer, (again)... "Seriously?!... He could've at least said to the previous customer, "Hold on, I'll be with you in a minute" Anyways, I just needed to vent, but if this treatment continues, I will most definitely be looking for a new place! Oh yeah and another thing.. There is a new employee... this girl was standing behind the counter applying hair products on her weave. When she was done, I had asked if she could price check, an item for me? "I thought, she would atleast wipe her hands"... but instead, of her wiping her hands clean...she scans the item and returns it back to me with a strand of her hair and some of whatever wet product, she was adding in her hair on the item...Ewww WTF!!! read more

I mainly go here to see what new wigs they have in stock or to see if they have something in stock that I've found from a YouTube review. Ladies I must say that their wigs are way over priced. I purchased the Bobbi Boss Yara wig online on Amazon for half the price that they are selling it in store. This is why I just go to see how they look on me and then purchase it online if the price is not comparable to prices online. If i could put zero stars i would this place is trash i am a licensed Cosmetologist of 10 years and i have never experienced this type disrespect and unprofessionalism from a retailer ever. I came here at 7:10pm to purchase color i need for a client tomorrow morning at 9am. I asked if they have apple pay the clerk told me they didnt so i rushed home and returned with my debit card. It was 7:20pm at this point as i arrived and tried to enter the building the door was locked. Keep in mind the closing time is 7:30pm i yell through the glass please open the door i need this product for work. The clerk proceeded to tell me they were closed. Which was not true because the closing time is 7:30 on yelp and on a sign at the business. I am so upset ive never experienced anything like this ever. Its not even lawful to lock the doors during business hours. Ill be contacting better Business bureau in the morning about this luckily sallys is open and ill be able to purchase the product to do my job.
