I just wanted exterior and they asked if I wanted to add tires, I asked how much would it be they said $25 total. They had washed, hand dried, and washed the tires for $25. No wax. It was a basic wash and the service was fast. I gave 3 stars because I felt $25 was a little much considering it was a basic wash & dry. No windex, no wax. Should have been $10 including tires. My neighbor told me about this place. Said she got a full detail for $15. The sign says they start at $10. Cool. I have a 2012 Honda Accord Coupe. Rolled in on a Wednesday with no one there. Quoted $32 for inside and out. Not sure if it was my appearance that made them quote up or what. I asked how much just for the outside. $20. Okay.....inside plus tires is another $12. Not opposed to paying for the inside however; DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT THE INSIDE OF YOUR CAR DONE PROPERLY. Disappointed to say the least. Outside cool. Inside. Highly let down. There were a few employees and they were helpful and efficient. Small sitting area, some in the shade. Easy in easy out. Pink Bubbles has been my go to car wash since I discovered it 6 months ago. The location in North Oakland is convenient and compared to other car washes in the area, the price is slightly lower. Are they 100% thorough? Well, I guess you can't expect a perfect job done for a 20 minute exterior + interior wash but I'm not too picky and this works for me. Only downside is that they close early. If you're not in the gate by 4:30pm, you're out of luck. read more

Yes, they may not be very accurate and consistent with that pricing, and sometimes when they finish my estate/wagon there are some droplets at rear, but that's the small business experience you should expect. During covid, I come over here and see workers hustling with sun proof gear but no mask, and I think, wow, these people are actually very based. Think about it. Heat kills virus and heat can kill you even faster. What you also get is other humane touches and workarounds they happily provide. There are times when I ask for card payment, and one of the dudes pull out square reader (that you can tap!) from his backpack and asks for a reasonable extra fee (dude why should they pay that 3 pct so you can get that dumb point that you hardly spend). There was once when I arrive as the leader guy closes the fence at the afternoon, and I asked really nice, through the windshield inaudibly, and he actually let me in and finished my car perfectly. Plus you get to see other cool cars and talk to local folks. Especially precious in this post covid California. read more

I drove by this place and the sign said $10 and up for a hand car wash. Great deal! Quickly pulled in with my Ford explorer and was asked if I wanted the inside, wheels, etc? I said no I just want the basic $10 wash because my car wasn't that dirty. The guy told me the basic $10 wash is only for small cars and that my car would be $25. I decided to do it anyway but I felt ripped off afterwards. Is my Ford explorer really 2.5x more work to wash than a smaller car? $25 with no vacuum, tire cleaning, wax, none of that. Seems really steep for a quick basic wash. It took them about 10 minutes to finish. I am giving 3 stars though bc they did a pretty good job and I'm in a good mood :) read more

I wanted to love this place being that it was an ALL hand car wash, right around the corner from my home and it wasn't crowded, however after getting back into my car it reeked of mildew like the towels used weren't clean. GO ELSEWHERE!!! Price-gougers!? NO attention to detail. YOU CAN GET THE SAME RESULTS FOR ONLY $8-$10 @ a self-wash. In wanting to support a local business, on my day off from work, I thought to check-out Pink Bubbles Car Wash @ 2P on a Tues. Only one other vehicle was there. A Porsche Cayenne. My vehicle wasn't anywhere near filthy -- outside or inside. I do what I can to maintain it on a regular basis. $25 was what I was told ONLY for the outside [ Yet, that's not what I was told before ] They spent approx ONLY 11-12mins on my vehicle $35 for the inside & outside Then, it became $40 () when I brought my short-haired dog out of my vehicle ... that I cover w/ a fitted rearseat-cover blanket WeatherTech floor mats. Again, my vehicle wasn't inordinately dirty beyond daily use. Nor, was it filled w/ items. Since, I removed them in preparation of getting my vehicle cleaned. Or, so, I thought!? After questioning the differing quotes, I said forget cleaning the inside. Then, I was asked if I wanted the tires cleaned. Of course. That would be LOGICAL, right $30, then, became the total $30 for streaky windows dirty & wet door jams (esp the hatch) a dirty sunroof (b/c all that was done was a slapping of the towels to the roof of my vehicle) Other places I've taken my vehicle used ladders to clean, wipe & dry the roofs of SUV's!! If i could give it 0 stars i would, went in and paid for a full wash and clean ($42) but the trunk was left unvaccumed, one of my kids spilled some drink in the front cup holders, the dust on/around the dash was left untouched as well. I like supporting a small business in that my hard earned income is going directly to those doing the work.
