Ennee is amazinggg! I came here to get my eyebrows done because the threading place near by wasn't even open and I found her shop on Yelp! I stopped going to wax places because one time the person made my left brow super thin at the end part and thick on the other -__-" But the reviews got me daring to swing by. The first thing I had to fill out some information about myself prior to getting my eyes brows done - talk about being very professional! I laided down on this bed in the middle of her studio that had curtains blocking any access to see through. I had told her how my right eyebrow is higher than the other and she told me how eyesbrows are "brother and sister" - they will never look exactly alike, but they'll come close to it. Ennee is THE GREATEST. Seriously. I've known Ennee since she worked in Fremont. She does all my waxing (Brazilian, under arms, lip and brows) and i get facials by her every four weeks. I have been 100% faithful to her because of how talented she is. Ennee is a total perfectionist, as am I. ;) I get compliments on my eyebrows REGULARLY... Eyebrow shape is so important and Ennee is a total expert. I have recommended several friends to her including hetero-sexual men and they ALL continue to see her. I can count on two hands how many strips of wax she used as opposed to the 30 we all usually endure. To be specific, I thought I was someone who liked small pieces (less pain), however the way she does it with the large pieces, I swear I was in there for only 5 minutes. Wam, bam, thank you m'am! I would drive hours to see this woman, thats how fabulous my wax just was. Found Ennee on Yelp and called to make an appointment before an upcoming trip to Honolulu (not Brazil, thank you). Unfortunately, Ennee just got back from a holiday too and was way overbooked. My name went onto a wait list. Ennee called me quite a few times with updates, I was hopeful. In the end, she moved a couple of clients around and I got an appointment during my lunch break. Perfect. I don't know why it has taken me so long to yelp about this place. It's fabulous. The owner/operator is very welcoming and sweet. I have some funky brows. One is shorter that the other....when I go to the nail salon, the ladies usually try to shorten my regular length eyebrow to match the dinky one. No! Please don't! Pink Cherry never tries to do this to my poor eyebrows. She cleans the up nice and pretty :) I've also taken my husband here. I've had both facials and waxings done by Ennee and she is great at both. She tailors the facial to suit my skin care needs. During facials, she tells me exactly what she's doing. The extractions were a little painful, but she did get rid of all my pimples and made my skin glisten. She also gives free eyebrow waxing with facials.Afterwards, she gave me recommendations to keep my skin glowing. After a few facials, my skin has improved tremendously. I used to have red spots from where pimples used to be and they have mostly disappeared. I LOVE ENNEE. I was so nervous because it was my first time ever getting a brazillian. I called to schedule an appointment on a weekday and was able to get an appointment that same day. When I went in, Ennee was so nice and explained to me step by step what to do and what she was doing. During the entire time, she was very professional and warm, making things everything but awkward. I must admit, my first time was a bit painful. I just went back a second time last week and she was just as great. Thank goodness the second time was so much less painful, I actually hardly felt any pain. She's so good at making small talk and making you feel comfortable the entire time. Super sweet and courteous. She really has a talent for eyebrows. I can't get my eyebrows waxed cuz I use topicals such as vitamin a and Benzoyl peroxide. So she tweezed and tweezed and even filled in my eyebrows for me. I have the sparse unruly asian brows. The brow powder and stencil she used on me made my eyebrows look like "Damn Girl... who did your brows?" Yeah it was that good. I've been getting my eyebrows done by a certain esthestician for years now and love her. Unfortunately she's all the way in the Marina and it's been harder and harder for me to get over there lately but I was in desperate need for an eyebrow wax. So I went to yelping and found this place. All the reviews were great so I decided to call and make an appointment. I was 15 minutes early and Kristen was able to take me right away. She explained to me that Enee was on maternity leave and she was there to help out while Enee was gone. Kristen was great with my brows and so so sweet. She explained to me that she and Enee went to same school and have the same training and knows exactly how she likes things done so I should be having a similar experience with her as I would with Enee. I return to Pink Cherry every few months because Ennee is the only person I TRUST with my face and my skin (the largest organ in your body!). I value her recommendations because I know that she's taking care or me and wants me to look and feel my best. I'm not a big make up person because I fear that make up will enhance the aging changes as well as take away my natural look. When discussing this with Ennee she recommend Jane Iredale products because they are a mineral make up brand and their products make your skin glow without a caked on look! I've been using JI's liquid minerals and bronzers daily and I love it b/c it's so quick and easy. Another product that Ennee introduced me to is this Bioclear cream for my T-zone. I break out in this area every few weeks and the pimple often scars afterwards. Ennee showed me how to extract my inflamed pore and reduce the appearance of the scar (and any other scars) with this product. Ennee is amazing. So far i've been here twice. First time for an extended bikini, and second time was for a brazilian. Ennee is very professional, friendly, and welcoming. She doesnt make it awkward at all when it comes down to stripping half bottom naked. The little room is very comfortably decorated with pink walls and this place is clean and neat. The most recent time i went here was probably 2 weeks ago when i went for a Brazilian. I called the day before to make an appointment with her on Friday. She said she was really full and booked already and I'd have to wait till next week if anything. But soon, she said she will squeeze me into her lunch time. I love Ennee! I am very very picky about who I will see for waxing. I have very sensitive skin and frequently react badly (burns, ingrowns, redness for days). Ennee manages to give me painless waxes that do not burn or irritate my skin, or cause ingrowns. And she's really easy to talk to - she is considerate of what you want and listens to you. She also works quickly, so it is easy to stop by for lunch time appointments. Her space is small, but clean. Her prices are very reasonable. Now, my regular waxer Julia @ La Nana in Berkeley is also still fab. Since I work in Brisbane, though, I can't always fit weekend appointments into my schedule to see her. read more
