The quality wasn't too bad considering it's my toe so I'm not too picky about it. I came in for a complete set of acrylics on my second visit. The owner, a woman, suggested that I have Gel X. On January 21, she did my nails. On February 21st, I removed my nails. I regretfully discovered that I now have fungus under my nails. I have never experienced anything like this. I'm disappointed since I won't be able to get my nails done for a long time.  I'm not telling you not to come here, but for the owner who might see this, I'm really upset about my nails right now, and I thought you were rushing my service because you were chatting with everyone but me. One thing I am trying to embrace as I age is how out of shape my feet can turn in a short period of time. After wearing nail polish nonstop for a very long time (only rest when I get to nail salon for new color... so really no rest for my toe nails over a couple of years), I am now trying to shake off the nail issues. I tried their fungus treatment first. They get my toes back in shape pretty quickly. I decide to keep using the spray and let my toe nails slowly recover. I am very spoiled by the foot spa treatment in Asia where they really fix your problems. I obviously couldn't get that here in North America unless I visit a doctor. However, their callus treatment here could help as in between solutions. I have tried their callus treatments twice so far. I am pretty happy overall. Not as thorough as Asian treatments but decent enough. Their people here are pretty good. Their owner is nice also. Their facility is slightly used. The massage chairs are in working condition but definitely well used. I had no problems scheduling and can always get in at a reasonable time. The application was clean and professional, and my nails lasted a long time without lifting or chipping. My issue is that after my pedicure, the staff just leaves and moved on to another customer and I was left there to wait another half hour to 40 min for the polish to dry. The color was nothing like the sample, which I can get past, but my feet look worse than when I came in. I really needed to get my old set of gel x removed so I made a same day appointment for a removal and gel manicure here while I was visiting my bf in the area. The plaza has plenty of parking which is nice. When I arrived in time, I waited maybe about 15 min before getting sat but I didn't mind since I wasn't in a rush. My nail tech first clipped off my gel x & then drilled the rest off. I was relieved because I know some places like to use a nail tip to pop off old sets but I'm glad she didn't for me. She then soaked my nails in acetone and left me for what felt like 15 min which seems to be quite a long time & when she removed the foil wrap, my skin was dried up. She started shaping and cleaning my cuticles. I still felt some glue residue on my nail and was hesitant to speak up but let me say, if you notice ANYTHING that needs attention to, SPEAK UP. I know we get shy so sometimes we just ignore it, but girl, you are paying for it ($45) so let them know if something is off. I was not about to have a bumpy gel manicure. She did end up drilling my nails a second round and some of my nails felt sensitive because they were my real nails and only a few of mine had extra glue, not all of them. Overall I would say I'd come here again for a quick gel mani if I needed a quick fix. The shaping and paint job could've been better. Very upsetting on my Birthday. Over charges and under delivers. Do not get your eyelashes done here. They do not last and you will not get what you asked for not even close to it. She talks on the phone during appointment and insisted I put my headphones in beforehand. Very rude and inconsiderate of the time I'm paying for. At the end after I told her it's not what I asked for she specifically said in her own words " I need to buy the other lashes because you guys keep requesting that look". It had been 2.5 years since I've gotten a mani-pedi and so I eagerly booked an appointment here on the evening of a weeknight. I thought that 1.5 should be enough time to get both services done. Upon arriving, there was a queue of other customers there already. While I was seated relatively quickly, it was probably close to half an hour later that someone actually started to work on my feet. I opted to get the extremely buff pedi - as I mentioned above, it had been a while since my last pedi and my heels were in dire need of some serious love. I was pretty happy with the end results of my pedi service, but I thought that the massage part could have been better. She probably spent a minute smoothing lotion on each leg and called it a day. As we were approaching the 1.5 hour mark that I had budgeted for and no one had started on my nails yet, I decided to only stick with the pedi that day as I had other places to be. Next time I come, I'll be sure to budget in some extra time to ensure everything can be done. I have been a customer for over a year. I was going for my lash extensions, mani and pedi. Ai and her staff were so kind. I referred my daughter to Bon Bon because her favorite spa in SF, on Franklin Street, is not opened on Sundays and she has a busy work schedule this week. This was the 3rd time she tried Bon Bon and every appointment she had to wait for over 30 minutes to be taken care of. My daughter does look way younger than her age but she is an adult, a career woman, a wife, and a mom. I have instilled in her to be kind and respectful. She is amazing in her career because she makes every child and family feel important. Today my daughter was triple disappointed with waiting over 30 minutes, yet she had an appointment and arrived on time. She saw how returning customers were treated with the upmost care and she was just left there sitting. The young lady that was assisting her was kind and apologetic but not the owner. At the end she let them know I had referred her and they were trying to make her feel better. I immediately called and let the owner know that this was my daughter's 3rd disappointed appointment. She explained they were so busy and I understand that but when my daughter called to make the appointment they could have said they had no availability and made a later appointment. I received a call from a friend and when she finally was done, I ended the call to pay. When I'm about to pay the other girl told me it's $50 So she called the lady and I repeated to her our conversation but she said no I told you it's $50 for gel but you're not listening you're on a call the attitude she gave me is uncalled for plus it was a lie!!!! I told her she never said anything about $50 for gel...the price of $50 Never came out of her mouth at all but keep repeating $40 only. Listen I don't mind paying $50 at all but be straight with me about the price instead of deceiving the customer. I pay over $100 for my design nails (from an independent business owner not from this salon) so $50 is nothing BUT be straight with the price from the beginning. The salons I've been has clear and visible prices listed either on the wall or each stations. Several ladies with appointments were already waiting out front and Ai was kind enough to accommodate my walk-in request. She is super sweet and professional. Love her meticulous work as she shaped my natural nails to my rounded-square liking. Ai ensured the gelish covered every edge and corner to prevent premature lifting. SO DISAPPOINTED! Got a gel mani-pedi. I've been here several times and usually Thuy is my go to girl! Unfortunately I didn't double check if she was going to be there when I made my appointment! I was helped by two individuals ( a man and a lady). At first the service was not bad (not as good as Thuy!) but I could tell a discrepancy in the quality of work. This place is relatively cheap so I'm not expecting the world but decent work at least. My cuticles were sadly ignored ): After the mediocre mani pedi, it came time to pay. Mind you, there are NO signs for pricing anywhere easily visible in the salon. She told me it would be $85, then corrected herself to $95 because the callus removal. They were really busy when I arrived for my appointment and so I had to wait a good 25 minutes before they started my services. Luckily, I didn't have any other appointments so it wasn't a problem. Later found out that Fridays-Sundays are really busy days for them in general. Loved the attention to detail on my gel manicure and cleaning up my toes during my pedicure. The only thing was my pedicure started to smear a little bit and they tried to fix it by gently tapping on the part that was coming off and adding top coat to set it. Seemed to have worked! However it is highly worth mentioning that everyone is nice except for the older woman with glasses. she has been consistently condescending and pretty rude every time i am paired with her. i know it's not just me because 1) i am known to be a pretty patient and quiet person that doesn't complain and she still finds a way to say rude unnecessary statements. I come here to get my nails done and want to relax after a long day but she has a condescending comment about everything like the nail shape you would want. 2) I have recommended my coworkers because it is across the street and they have said the same thing about this specific lady. Hence the reason I do not see the ripples while I am still at the nail salon. I do not want to stay longer or even tell her to fix it. She just kills your vibe! Absolutely amazing. My cousins invited me to join their manicure day and I am so happy I went. Truth be told, I have not gotten my nails done since I was in the 8th grade. I'm out of college now if that kind of gives y'all an idea on what my age could be. But yeah, I never felt the need to get my nails done because I tend to be rough with my hands (i.e. washing dishes without gloves, cleaning without gloves...) but when this opportunity came up I said "what the hell" and went with it for some cousin bonding. Bon Bon Spa is a place that never really crossed my mind prior to my visit. I visit the Bank of America in this plaza quite often and never took note of the businesses near it. We all went for the gel nails and while my 2 cousins were able to quickly pick out their nail colors and get started, I sort of struggled in the beginning trying to figure out a color. Eventually one of the workers helped me and I was able to join my cousins in the lap of luxury. I never realized how much time it takes to get your nails done. Much respect earned for the nail technicians that work throughout the day doing this. While my session took a little longer due to my late start, I am quite happy with the results. My nail technician was the man and I didn't get his name, but his process showed me how much care he puts into each nail. While my older cousin's nails started peeling off after a couple weeks, my other cousin and I's stayed on quite long to the point where my nails grew long enough to where I ended up peeling them off myself due to how funky it gotten.
