Tried this spot out today to grab some donuts for work. I am usually a cream filled chocolate donut eater. I tried one of theirs and it sufficed. This appears to be direct competition to Mary's Donuts. Mary's appears to have more choices but this is still a pretty good option and Pink's dozen donuts seemed slightly cheaper. read more

I like my dough nuts, and this place makes some very good ones. This donut shop has changed names/owners a few times. It is now called Pink Donuts. The donuts were pretty damn good. Stopped here on the way to work and got a version of a crumb donut and an old fashioned donut with chocolate icing. Helpful lady behind the counter and the donuts were 75 cents each. The crumb donut was a raised donut with crumb topping. Decent enough. The old fashioned was better though. This thing had a little crisp to it and a thick layer of chocolate. I liked it a lot. Hey...they are better donuts in Santee but if I am running late or need something close to home, I wouldn't hesitate to come back. The old fashioned donut was awesome! read more

It's a small mom and pop donut shop tucked away in the corner of the strip mall in Santee. Most folks probably beeline for the Starbucks next door, but this past July 4th.. the kids in our group declared that frapachinos must be followed by pink donuts... so in we went. The man working the counter was humble and polite. I had to satisfy my husband's forever donut craving (a glazed old fashioned) and the gentleman working the counter was more than happy to get fresh ones from the back since there weren't any in the very well stocked case. Kids got their pink donuts and they loved it. We also picked up an apple fritter for another family member and it looked crisp and delicious. I'm a huge fan of family owned shop and this was no exception. Definitely would come by to satisfy my donut needs if I were in the area! Recommend and would return. Pick up a donut with your Starbucks to not only support local businesses but also get something tasty and sweet to pair! I'm so sad that I experienced Pink Donuts while on vacation in San Diego rather than in my hometown...I don't know when I'll get to have their amazing donuts again :( Pink Donuts is nothing fancy to look at from the outside, but once you step foot inside and start smelling the sweet, sweet smells, you immediately know that you made a great decision. Whether it's a bearclaw or a creme-filled chocolate bar (my personal favorite), you can't make a bad choice. This was my first time trying Pink donuts. I loaded up the grandkids and told them we were going for donuts. On the way, we talked about what kind of donut they would pick. What a letdown. When we got inside, the donut case was 85% empty. I suspect that the ones that were available were left over from yesterday. The kids were very disappointed. The was our first and LAST trip to Pink donuts. I think we will stick with Donutpolis. Donutpolis has a good selection and they are fresh. read more

I've been stopping here since High School, well over 15 year now. The staff is friendly, kind and good conversation! The donuts are always fresh and melt in your mouth. I do stop by occasionally to grab a water for my kick boxing class next door, the water is affordable and always cold! My kids enjoy stopping by!! read more

It ain't Mary's but they are pretty good. They always have my son's favorite, the "batman donut" (that's what he calls a chocolate cake donut with chocolate frosting and sprinkles). This is an independently owned shop making fresh donuts and serving fresh coffee. The prices are cheap, the food is great and the woman behind the counter is friendly and happy to serve. I was in the area getting my hair done and went next door to get some Starbucks. Coming out, I couldn't help myself and looked at the display of donuts, definitely mom n pop type feel. I love donuts and decided to go past what I usually get (just a regular glazed) and try what caught my eye which was a chocolate cake donut with chocolate glaze with coconut flakes on top! The following happened. INSTANT HAPPINESS. There was a semi crisp while biting in, the donut was not dry and old tasting, and the glaze was perfectly meltable! This place has my favorite glazed buttermilk in town! Classic flavor, moist texture, perfection. I also adore their croissants. The plain is my favorite, but the ham a cheese as well as the almond croissant are great when seeking something extra. Their filled fonts are on point too.
