Was craving a donut and I was in the area so I decided to try Barrio Donas! It was kinda busy still and I got there about 10:30 am. Lots of the flavors were gone but I tried the Coco Mazapan which was gas!!! First the donut was hella soft and melts in your mouth. The chocolate and peanut drizzle was the perfect amount that didn't over power the doughnut. The horchata was not overly sweet and was a good choice too. Donuts are about $3 and some change each which is not bad cause you can taste the quality of each donut. Definitely recommend them if you in the area.

I tried the cafe de olla cold brew with horchata for the first time today and it's REALLY good! Definitely sweet so be ready for that, but I would order it again. The service was great. The lady at the counter greeted me immediately and asked how my day was going. She seemed genuinely kind. I love this place and it's convenient to a lot of other businesses so you can grab delicious coffee and donuts while you're running your errands.

For years and years, I have heard nothing but amazing things about this donut shop. I thought it was OK but nothing earth shattering. I decided to stop in at 11:30 AM on a Wednesday morning after a Pilates class nearby. They donuts selection was kind of sparse. I should've taken a picture of the rack because most of the places were empty. There is also a Matcha bar that looks like it's supposed to be set up off to the side, but was not open. We picked out two beautiful donuts, the Chocolate Abuelita and the Cajeta. The Cata looked really nice, but was very plain tasting. The Chocolate Abuelita was definitely better and I liked the Mexican hot chocolate cream in the center. I would give this donut shop one more shot, just because of all the great things I've heard about it from people whose opinions I respect. Honestly, though, there are so many donut shops in town that if I don't find it better the next time I probably wouldn't return.

My favorite donut place. They also have breakfast tortas and burritos. However, the true star of the show is their vegan horchata, where they use oatmilk instead of regular milk. Great from anyone who is lactose intolerant. I'm not but I think it tastes better than the regular horchata. They have also recently expanded to a matcha menu called Sana Sana bar. The menu is based on a Spanish nursery thyme to comfort kids who are hurt or upset. The staff is always nice and helpful and their donuts are also delicious.

We are in the market for a new donut place and decided to try this place out! It's located in Diane Square which has a nice large parking lot. The shop itself is very crisp and clean, I love the interior. They had a wide variety of Mexican inspired donuts. They are unique and classic flavors. We got the Chocolate Abuelita and Arroz con Leche. I loved the Abuelita!! It had that great chocolate spiced flavor and it was a fluffy delicious bite. It was just starting to get a little stale but it was barely noticeable and I did come around 830. My fiancee said her Arroz con Leche was delicious. Hers was soft and fresh and she loved the rice pudding center. We will definitely be back to try other flavors.

The proof. My opinion is validated!

The best donuts and savory pork tamales and tortas served alongside the best Mexican coffee drinks from cafe de olla, horchatas, and champurrado. It's all made with much love and such great service by the welcoming ladies ready to serve you with a smile. The establishment itself is intimate but very inviting and clean with a handful of small tables. Still the reigning champ of donuts!

I love this place the only problem is they sell out so fast so if you go around 10am you might not get the donuts you want or the breakfast tortas . Coffee is ok . Horchata is 9/10 . My favorite donut is the Bigote, masapan . Would give five stars if they had better coffee and didn't have such a limited selection after 10am . Staff is always friendly 10/10

I went back last week.. not as good as it was last year. I ordered the cajeta donut and it was kind of flavorless. Also noticed that they haven't had the cocada donut for some time, which was my favorite. Hopefully they aren't cutting corners, it was good when I first starting going.

Super impressed by this shop! First time I had a sample was at a Yelp Event so I made sure to come back and try more of their menu items. The shop is cute and small, all you really need. There were a couple of seats in there if you wanted to dine in, but we ordered online and took ours to go. The flavors of their donuts are really unique. It stays true to Mexican Heritage with flavors such as Horchata, Chocolate Abuelita & Arroz Con Leche. We tried the Horchata [$3.00] which was really good & really got the flavor the drink. This was a better option than the normal chocolate glazed [$2.00] I got. It was still good, but I wish the coating of chocolate was a bit thicker. It was pretty think so once that flavor ran out, all you got was the dough. Which let me you was really good dough! Also tried their Egg & Cheese w/Bacon torta [$11.50] which didn't disappoint. Loved every bite! Big enough to share if you're not as hungry. Our order was ready for pick-up so we didn't wait that long & there is plenty of parking in the area. Overall, I'd definitely come back to Barrio Donas to try their other donut flavors as well as their tamales. They were sold out the day we went.

We are so happy to found this gem! Donuts are delicious and the Milanese & chavo tortas are a must!

This place has a cute interior and offers a fun variety of Mexican donut flavors like arroz con leche and Gansito, to name a few. The arroz donut actually had arroz con leche inside, which made it dense but enjoyable. I also tried their café de olla with horchata -- I ordered it with more café de olla than horchata, thinking it would be less sweet but it was still a bit too sweet for my taste. Flavor-wise, though, it was unique and worth trying. The breakfast torta was pretty good -- a bit more bread than filling, but still satisfying overall. The staff was friendly and welcoming. A couple of suggestions: I'd love to see a self-serve water station or at least water cups available. Also, for being the morning, it felt a bit too warm inside during my visit -- the AC didn't seem to be on or strong enough, which took away slightly from the experience as we dined-in. Small detail, their cups (hot and iced) had no logos of the business or stickers on them. Maybe it's just this location bc I noticed the other locations' cups have logos and such. Hubby asked about their stickers bc they had the display stand perched up top but the lady said they had not ordered any more. Shame because we would've bought them! Overall, a creative spot with delicious donuts -- just a few tweaks would make it even better!

    churro donut
    Elle T.

loved the unique flavors & quality. we got a jamaica donut (the glaze tasted of real jamaica & not just flavoring) & a churro donut (the dough was rly like a churro, unlike most "churro" things that just have cinnamon sugar & call it a day). we went at a random time in the middle of the day & they still tasted fresh. reasonably priced too at $3 for specialty donuts, bougie places try to charge you double. also liked the cute lil sign - gordita, redondita y bien bonita :)

Stopped in to grab a sweet treat. Sunday around 2:30pm there was no line. The shop is very cute with simple but trendy decor. Their menu had hot breakfast items, coffee, and more. W We came for the donuts. 6 donuts for about $20. You order 6 you get $1.50 off. The donuts were named and inspired by Mexican/Hispanic culture. My favorite was the lemon donut. Followed by the guava. 4 stars because although the name and flavors were fancy, the donuts weren't very basic.

OVERVIEW Come for the equally balanced, delicious coffee AND matcha drinks; the spacious work setting; the side entertainment (like a free bookshelf + camp chairs outside), and incredible ownership. Be prepared for hard parking during peak hours (lunchtime) and possible lack of seats (especially during schooltime). DRINKS It is RARE to find a shop whose matcha is on par with its coffee; normally, one is better than the other. Easy Does It, or EDI as we affectionately call it, is pro at BOTH. With coffee served from Provecho, matcha from Nami and hojicha from Paru??? You just hit a trifecta of GOOD good. Our Typical Order: 1) Iced Earl Grey Latte - omg, I LOVE the earthiness that the earl grey syrup brings to the matcha. Matcha, to me, is either too grassy or too sweet; the earl grey syrup makes it a perfectly earthy balance. 2) Honey Cinnamon Latte - how good could a standard coffee shop latte be, you ask? They have the HCL at almost every shop, and it's not usually standout. EDI, again, blew expectations wide open. Their HCL is balanced: sweet without being saccharine; and you can actually taste the cinnamon. 3) Hojicha Latte, Hot - omg, there was a time when I ordered almost one of these A DAY. Again, another sleeper - if you like the taste of coffee but can't take the caffeine (for a late night drink, perhaps), a hojicha is a good choice. It has that grounded taste that coffee gives, and the hot version of it is like a HUG for your mouth and stomach. They also have cool inventive flavors like the Matcha Cloud, the Coconut Cream Cloud (which is a coffee cloud on top of coconut water, I hear it's refreshing), so you'll never get tired of the drinks they have here. I also want to mention that they do serve wine and beer, too... so there's something for everyone! FOOD Spend any time in a coffee shop and know... you're gonna get hungry! Thankfully, EDI has open-faced bagel sandwiches AND pastries here, all of which look mighty tasty; all of which I cannot partake in, since I am gluten free. But ohhh, gluten warriors unite! Thanks to the partnership that is Jacob of Made for Mei Mei Mochi (aka the protein mochi) and Easy Does It, you'll have your PICK of 5 different flavors of homemade, chewy, ooey, DELICIOUS MOCHI -- SANS added sugars and preservatives you normally find in the store. I'm telling you, I don't normally like mochi (it tends to be so sweet) but I love the texture. And Made for Mei Mei hits it all! Flavors include: 1) chocolate hazelnut -- which tastes like Ferrer Rocher, yum 2) ube 3) green tea / red bean 4) black sesame 5) pb&j (yes, he's stocked peanut butter & jelly, a fan-demanded flavor) My favorites are #1 and #4; sometimes I go for #2 and #5 to mix it up. Either way, I spend WAY too much on these tiny li'l treats I might as well become an early investor. AMBIENCE This place is perfect for computer work as light doesn't directly fill the whole space. I like a li'l shade when I'm staring at a bright computer screen. There are two rooms: front and back; the back is a li'l darker and more chill vibes than the front. I also appreciate that they have a free bookshelf (just replenish it with your own!), plus a few magazines scattered around (for decoration, but I still browse). I miss when coffee shops had analog media, especially for when we don't want to be glued to our screens. EXTRA CREDIT Easy Does It also offers their shop as space for community events. From mahjong with No Ambition Tile Club to wine and jazz nights IN SUM THANK YOU Easy Does It ~ Grace, Nancy, the sister I haven't met, Eugenia, and the entire team ~ for creating a lovely third space where I can work, enjoy my snacks / drinks, meet friends and co-work, and have a great conversation. There's no indoor seating since it's a tiny booth, but there's plenty of parking if you want to walk up and grab your coffee. Overall, such a solid local coffee spot with friendly staff, creative flavors, and great value.

While I waited for my order, I went next-door to See's candy. I was craving fudge. I returned about 2 to 3 minutes after my order and my order was ready. The service was great... It was fast and the lady was really friendly. Inside it's very dark & moody vibes, still good natural light where you can work and study from. I just wish they brought back the Turon crème brûlée latte.

The overall experience (staff, variety/availability, drink quality) was incredibly disappointing because I hear great things about this place. There were quite a bit of people in there, so I'm sure it's great at times. Settling for the Vietnamese Iced Coffee as 1 of our 2 drinks, sadly it was mostly ice. The drink was done in a few sips. It felt like the cup was filled with ice and then put the coffee in. Don't get me wrong, the drink was good and the coffee was strong. The other drink was the Creme Brulee Latte. If you like the sugar un-bruleed, this is the drink for you. I saw the top was torched for a few seconds, but the drink was still in the tiny sugar crystals. The coffee part is also nice and strong, though the drink is not as sweet as it sounds. Overall, lack-luster and expensive for the $7.60 - Large.
