We didn't have reservations and waited in line about 25 mins before we were seated at a little table in the downstairs bar room. The staff here were surprisingly cool and had a good handle on the line situation. Our waiter was so sweet and made some great recommendations. The drinks here are divine - fresh, fun, and tasty. We ordered a pesto pasta, hot summer pizza, their bruschetta and tiramisu for dessert. Every. dish. was. perfection. The flavors were traditional and so fresh. The tiramisu was scooped out from a large baking dish, making each slice unique - a nice homey touch. The atmosphere inside was relaxing and fun despite the hype and line outside. This place was terrible. Not worth the hype at all. Had reservations and when they finally seat us, we weren't even seated in the room that's advertised all over social media. There are 3 separate dining spaces. I didn't know that or I would have requested to be seated upstairs to at least get the aesthetic. Of course we went for the truffle pasta and yuck. The pasta was cold, gummy and was getting stuck in my teeth. They wouldn't add any chicken to it either. My husband ordered a steak medium well and it was literally dripping blood. It was nice and quiet, so no great people watching, but the decor is lovely and the food was delicious. I ordered a pizza and it was really good. The food came out quickly and the service was friendly. For dessert I tried their cheesecake and it was pretty darn yum. I can imagine it gets jam packed in here at night, so probably best to arrive earlier than normal and book ahead to be sure to get a table. I felt it was fairly reasonably priced, and based on how good the pizza and cheesecake was, I'd definitely come back again next time in Paris so I can try other items on the menu and come for dinner so we get a different vibe. obviously had to try this during my last trip to paris. it is THE place on social media when you look up paris restaurants, so take away from that what you will. being that i'm a truffle fan-girl, of course i had to come. made the reservations online, very easily. you can't specify which floor you want to be sat though. there are 3-4 floors that are all distinctly different, each looking like a different restaurant. the most coveted floor is the terrace top floor, which is light and airy, and looks like a garden. very picturesque. we were lucky enough to be sat on that floor. truffle pasta comes in a nice creamy sauce with bits of truffle and then shaved truffle on top. despite all those flecks, i would say the truffle is not over powering. the pasta was nice and al dente. but i did think the dish needed a bit more salt. the roasted cauliflower was tender and tasty. the margarita pizza had such a nice fluffy crust, and was my favorite dish. service is prompt and you can pay your bill through the QR code on the table, which makes it very convenient when you're ready to leave. read more

A lil overrated, to be honest. Not to say not to come here, but don't expect to be treated with great customer service and fed phenomenal food. Despite having a reservation at 6:45, we still waited in the line (two separate lines) and had to wait over 15 minutes. In my reservation, I asked to be at any higher level if possible. The hostess saw my reservation, spoke some words to the waiter, and we were led to the base floor. We were the ONLY customers seated in this area for a good 10-15 minutes, and no one else behind us were in this area. They all went to the higher levels. I'm not sure if this was an honest mistake (she misread the reservation) or if they intentionally don't seem to like tourists requesting a certain floor. It genuinely felt like the latter, so don't mention anything like that in your reservation or in-person, and you may have better luck. Not the easiest reservation to get and there was even a long line for those of us lucky to get a reservation, but the line moved fast. The 4th floor is apparently the most beautiful place to take pictures and where we wanted to seat, but we were seated on the 2nd floor. Also beautiful, but the 4th floor was really IG pic worthy...and so that's where we took a few family selfies. The service was on it. They were very attentive and our food came out fast. We ordered a bunch of things for our table and there was a lot of truffle. Can't ever go wrong with truffle! All was really good, although to be honest I expected better thanks to all the hype. There was a lot my tree nut allergy son couldn't eat so he got a buttered pasta, which may have been one of the better things I tried. Go figure. However, the burrata, steak and potatoes and truffle pasta were all winners too. And don't forget tiramisu for dessert...yum! My wine was lovely and the kids LOVED the mocktails. The kids also thought it was fun that you could see scan a qr code at any time to see what your bill was. My husband and I, who were paying for the meal, didn't like that part as much. However, for the amount of food/drinks we ordered I thought it was fairly priced. This was high on our list of places to try in Paris and so I'm glad we did. Basically because we had to do the family menu (which was not a good menu) due to our large group, plus the servers were obnoxious with attitude due to the fame of this place. Family menu as following (for 11 people) - 1. huge Burrata x 6 - tasty but we only were able to eat 3 due to the size. 2. 4 large plate of charcuterie with 2 types of meat - great but we only were able to eat 1 plate. 3. Endive Salad with Shaved Parmesans x2 small place - not much veggie but large pieces of cheese. 4. Tomato sauce pizza x 2 - the most basic pizza you can get. 5. Tomato Malfadini with Buratta pasta bowl x 2 - okay 6. Creamed Malfadini with shaved Truffle bowl x 2 - good 7. Flambee Cream Brulee - acceptable 8. forgot the last dessert. Food were good, but 2/3 of the dishes were left and went to waste. Who wants to eat so much of the same thing? - cheese, cold cuts, carbs, tomato sauce, malfadini......... the menu is all based on the simplest thing and same flavor. It's just very inconsiderate. Extremely popular/touristy Italian restaurant and part of a larger restaurant group. We didn't realize this upon going (just found it quickly on google maps while in the area). We arrived about 30-45 minutes before opening, waited on the "no reservations" line and two of us got seated at the bar as soon as they opened. After our 2+ hour meal, there was still a long line outside. The décor is beautiful, and the food was excellent. We shared the burrata app and I had the truffle pasta for my entrée. For dessert, we shared the crème brulee which was massive. For cocktails, we had the bellini spritz. The restaurant is multiple floors and there was a black tie wedding happening the evening we dined there. The hype is SO REAL for this place! Reservations are absolutely recommended because there will be a line, no matter what time you come. However, pro tip: when you arrive, ask to sit on the top floor--it is an iconic dining experience and one of the best parts about Pink Mamma! Don't worry if they tell you there is a wait, there is an incredible speakeasy downstairs where you can get a few pre-dinner drinks as you wait. I won't tell you where it is so you have to explore for yourself, but once you find it--ooh là là! When you get to dinner, just trust me and order the truffle pizza. It is to die for! The best part is that they have QR codes you can scan to pay whenever you are ready to leave, so no more waiting around forever for the check as is custom in Paris. We didn't have a reservation, but we got very lucky. I recommend making one if you can. Otherwise, we got their 30 mins before they reopened for dinner and waited in line for about 35-40 minutes before we got seated. They have two separate lines so note that and ask the host where to stand. One line is for reservations, the other is for walk-ups. The risotto was excellent - okay I will give them a four star up from three, as that risotto was extremely good. The place is very aesthetically pleasing, and luckily we were seated at the rooftop for amazing views.
