The truffle pasta was creamy and tasty, but it came to the table warm. I think it would've been better with some sort of protein added to it. Also, the noodles were too chunky and thick. Truffle pizza was very airy and fluffy, but I would've preferred a crispy bottom. Mushrooms on top were a nice touch. The flavors are there, but nothing wowed us! This place is absolutely Overhyped with a capital "O". Even if you make a reservation with a credit card hold, they require you to wait in a line outside for a table to become available.. Once your table is ready they give you a table number and tell you to go to a floor where each kitchen has a different dining room, which is a really cool idea. We were inconveniently placed to sit at table in the doorway of the third floor, where we were bumped by every passerby or server. The vibe was very attractive as promised for many photo opportunities, but we came to also eat. The food is less to be desired. The spaghetti came out way too al dente and lacked any Italian flavor or spices. The lobster was meh, and the bread very disappointing for Paris. Surprisingly, my salad was fantastic, but you don't have to cook that. The cocktail are decent, the wine selections not so much. I was super excited for this place it's on everyone's TikTok's and all over instagram. The inside is gorgeous and they were kind enough to find us a seat on the top floor. However, I wasn't a fan of the food. The truffle pasta was pretty flavorless and the spicy pizza had an odd type of cheese on it. The old fashioned drink was great tasted refreshing and smooth. So we tried to get into this popular restaurant while visiting Paris last year, 2022. But either they were fully committed on reservations or closed. So this year I made a reservation in advance of my trip. Now, my recent dining experience I understand all the hype. The restaurant is beautiful, very eclectic, is lively with very cool positive vibes. The food is sensational. Everything is fresh and flavorful. I was in heaven! With that said, they seemed to be a bit understaffed during my visit. So the service wasn't the best. But the food, when it finally arrived, was amazing! I ordered the truffle pizza with fresh shaved truffles, a truffle cream sauce with ricotta and then added some prosciutto. I think my eyes were closed on every bite. Lol. The crust was super light and airy and tasted a lot like the crepes street vendors make fresh in Paris. The fresh truffle shavings were divine. I'm so happy I was able to make it back. Got there around 7;15 pm and waited about an hour and a half to get in. Service was pretty quick since they were trying to funnel people as fast as they could in and out. Ordered the two most popular dishes that had: black truffle. They have a lot of specialty cocktails and liked they had visuals of what you were getting. Prices are more steep than other restaurants. I really like it here. The vibes were so cute. I think it's very popular because of instagram but it's even prettier in person. At night it's hard to get in without a reservation but we did lunch here (still w/ a rez) and I would say it's better to go in the day to get cute pictures in the stairwell. Do not waste your time and money here. When we got there you still had to sit in a line if you made a reservation... they are piss poor at time management with this place. When we first got there, there were people already complaining to staff so it should have been a sign. We sat at a wobbly table and the server ignored us until we had to call her over. I tried using my fork AS SHE WATCHED ME to stabilize the table and she never brought another? She had short hair to her chin. I think she was new though because she looked confused at all the tables and even dropped plates that shattered and never cleaned up the shards off the ground. It was pretty sad to be honest. The buratta cheese was good... not worth the price though that was mediocre. I got the pina drink and there was NO DRINK?! Couple of sips and done. The straw deteriorated and was pathetic. The second drink I got was the peach one and she served it to me with no straw but I saw her serve it with straws to other tables. I'm telling you the girl with the hair to her chin was so bad. I walked up to her to ask for a straw... the straws are right next to her... less than a foot away in front of her face and she told me to sit and she would be right with me. It's a cup of straws so I'm assuming she wanted to properly bring a straw over instead of me grabbing one. Nope a couple of moments later she walks over with the cup and instructs me to grab a straw... is she special or something and not know what hepatitis is? I was appalled. She had no cleanliness and common sense. Here came our food my dad got the mushroom pizza and I got the truffle pasta. Both dishes came out cold like it was sitting in the back for 20 minutes. I was so disappointed in this food. You can tell they mass make that truffle pasta and throw it on plates. It was pathetic. I ended with the zebra dessert and that was amazing. When closing out you have to use the QR code but you have to pay the 2 euros to use the platform which is an absolute rip off. I gave a 4 euro tip and I wish I didn't tip at all. The other serve with a bleached buz cut gave us a dirty look as we walked out. If she asked why I gave that tip I would have happily told her why. She didn't need to be petty and immature. Do a better job. When going to the bathroom it is coed and the sinks do not drain. I watched a male cook piss and he didn't even wash his hands. The cleanliness of this place is appalling. We walked up to every floor and much like the first they sucked. Not even worth it to go. DO GO TO LA TRAIN BLUE! Worth the money and no matter where you sit you get the best view. This big waste of a time pink mamma is not worth it. Do not come here unless you sit up top. If you are American good luck. What I would do is make a reservation, see where you sit, and if it's anything but the top get an espresso and leave or just say your stomach hurts you need to leave. I was so excited to finally try Pink Mamma. It was recommended to me during my last visit to Paris. I highly recommend making a reservation because this restaurant is very popular. The walk ins line was very long. The reservations line to check in was very short and I was seated right away. The interior of the restaurant is so beautiful with plants and pictures lining the staircase. I was lucky enough to be seated on the 4th floor and it was amazing. The ambiance was chill and nice. This was the highlight of the meal Ambiance: 3 out of 5 so we couldn't go up to the top where it's known for due to a wedding. Got sat on the "2nd" floor which is the 3rd floor shared a table with other people on a high top. Lots of Americans cause you hear English everywhere. Great establishment to get food from during my short visit in Paris. Be sure to get a reservation well in advanced because getting one last minute will likely be a challenge. We were visiting from the US and were recommended to try this place as it was an "Instagram-able" sight and there would also be amazing food. We arrived at 11:58 for a 12:00 PM reservation. We were greeted at the door and sat on the top floor of the trattoria. The vibe was amazing! More than plenty of areas to take photos in, and the greenery was just truly breath taking. The dishes that we ate were: LES MILLE ET UNE FEUILLES - This was dish was OK. It was good starter, but definitely did not stand out. CACIO + PEPE - EXTREMELY delicious, but very very heavy on the cheese. I would encourage snacking on some bread with this to help balance out how strong the cheese was (unless you enjoy really strong cheese) WINTER PAPPARDELLE- The lamb was extremely good, but needed to be mixed. Once mixed, all the ingredients seamlessly blended together. We also wanted to note, that the service here was better than that at Pizza Popolare which we also visited. Both pastas were terribly dry and lacking in both sauce and flavor. It really felt like we were just eating expensive af plain noodles with (more flavorless) truffle and lobster just thrown on top. They were so disappointing that we didn't even finish either of them and I'm never one to leave any food on the table soooo that's saying a lot. My fiancee found this thanks to Instagram and TikTok, as it is one of the highest trending Italian spots in Paris based on social media. One look at the upstairs dining area and you can see why. When we arrived, it was raining yet there still was a line around the block to get in. We made reservations a month in advance so we were able to avoid the line, even if our Uber almost made us late (darn Paris traffic!). A beautiful interior and good service made our arrival without hassle. Pleasant, the menu was a QR code and we scoured for our little taste plus a few cocktails. This place has a great vibe. Sure, it sounds weird to eat Italian in Paris but this place is more about the experience than some necessary need to eat only Parisian food while in Paris. There are plenty of other meals for that. This one was "for the 'Gram." Haha. I ordered the cacio e pepe, one of my favorite, yet simple, dishes, and we also added a Margherita pie to rip apart. Both were better than average. The cacio e pepe was a tad creamy but I have no qualms with that. The pie was excellent. Great crust, soft yet perfectly charred. I enjoyed both. In the end, this is a place for photographs and TikToks but the food and drink also play well. As an American in Paris, this was a great start to a fabulous night at the nearby Moulin Rouge, which is in walking distance. This place is worth the hype! I wasn't able to make reservations with my friend when arriving in Paris and decided to try our luck by arriving 20 minutes before they opened up. They have 2 lines for customers: one for reservations and one for those who don't. Surprisingly, both lines moved super fast and we got in super fast. We ordered the famous truffle pasta, the marg pizza, a mock tail, and also the Burrata Con Pomodoro. The mock tail was super refreshing and prob one of the best mock tails I've had in my life. The pizza was huge and fresh. The pasta was my favorite and the texture and the sauce was light, yet flavorful. Also although Im not a huge fan of burratas, this one was def also above average. Everything was so good, the portions were generous. Even though we only ordered 3 dishes for 2 people to share, we didn't end up finishing the burrata since we were so full. I did find it odd that it is one of the few French restaurants that asked us to tip in Paris but considering it is so well known on TikTok makes sense since it is very touristy and the food def deserves the generous tip. read more
