If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Pink nails is by far the best nail salon I've ever been to and believe me I've had some miserable experiences at a lot of nail salons over the years. I've been going to pink nails for a little over a year now and I travel a half hour every 2 weeks to see my girl Camila. I'll never go anywhere else. She's talented, she makes you feel like a friend, and she listens to what you want. All of the girls are talented and friendly as well. If you're looking for a bomb nail place with some cool chicks, this is the place. It takes a while to get an appointment but it's soooooo worth the wait. I just walked into the empty shop, and the tech said "we only take appointments"....I said no one is in here, she said sorry, nothing's available for today. Then the other person working there said something to her in Spanish, and the first one said "my appointment just cancelled, how can I help you"....I said no thanks, and left. Since my last review in 2015 my Mom continued to get her nails done by Nane & she is consistently HAPPY! After much prompting from my Mom to go back and try again... I went back & I also saw Nane she was very nice as before & listened to exactly what I wanted!!!! The technician that I initially had a bad experience with in 2015 no longer works there! All the girls are super friendly, talented & very creative! You get the feeling that they all are very close & happy! A strong positive energy fills the shop! A friend of mine goes to Cassie & her nails are always poppin' So today was my fill in appt by Nane & I am extremely Happy, even tho I miss long beauty nails, in my line of work (eyelash extensions technician) & also having a new baby I'm not comfortable with long nails anymore but Nana does them so well I'm happy to say Pink Nails and more is my Fabulous Nails go to Salon!!!! read more

I love getting my nails done at pink nails because of the quality of their work. I never feel rushed and I always leave getting exactly what I wanted. I never leave the salon disappointed. The level of talent and service is incredible. The ladies can do any design I ask for and they stay up to date with all the different nail designs and polish trends. My nails are always gorgeous. I have been here twice now. Both times I had Camila. Her attention to detail is crazy. She is so nice and wants her work to be done well. She redoes things she doesn't think are nice enough without me even asking. The ladies in this nail salon are bilingual so it's nice if Spanish is your first language. Acrylic nails didn't last me more than a week, three fell off the fist week and I had to come back and was still charged for 3 nails to be put back on. Studs also fell off. Gave them 3 chances but my whole acrylic nail kept falling off each time I came back in to get fill ins. Found fungus under two nails :/ People are nice that work there but wont be returning. read more

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Can't say much on the "review part" when I didn't even get my nails done. I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks in advance for a special occasion. The day of my appointment I get a text at 8 in the morning from the nail tech saying she's going to have to reschedule because "she's sick". What got me upset the most was the fact that I was receiving this message 3 hours and not given at least a 24 hours notice in advance. My appointment was at 11 and I was going to head out there earlier because they say to come in a bit early. There are strict policies on cancellations and I completely understood that. But it's not a one way either. I should be also given a notice in advance (more than 3 hours) being the customer. I don't complain about much but I'm a student and I work and that was practically the only day that could schedule it in. Very unprofessional. read more

I was devoted to another nail salon for three years and I only get acrylic but their service was getting horrible and my acrylic wouldn't last more than a week so I was recommended to come and see a few weeks ago Nane . This a great place as far as cleanliness great customer service and you never have to wait when in the nail salon . but it's really difficult to get an appointment with Nane the owner. last month I had to wait a week which I was fine with but now I tried to make appoint again and I was told I would have to wait till the 22nd of this month to make an appointment. so will have to go elsewhere only reason I gave this place three stars. read more

Although the girls are extremely talented, hygiene and sanitation are not a strong suit of this business. I had been going to this place for about 6 months and ended up with fungal infections on my nails. Please note plural, "nails". When I first called to let the girls know, I was met with indifference, in retrospect, the lady who answered the phone may not have known what to say to me, or felt uncomfortable about hearing that news. However, I was texted a day later from someone else who showed sincere concern. I thought it was best to not go back and discontinue services. No loss for them. But a healthy decision for me. So, a win on both ends. The girls work extremely hard, are very very kind, and talented, patient and listen to what the customer wants, and Camilla always went the extra mile to make my nails look stunning. Kassandra did a lovely job, and was so personable. I sat with another young lady and cannot remember her name. The actual place is not clean and really needs to be washed. This is not a knock against the girls or the owner, but just an observation. I'm thinking the actual place is very old. Or, quite honestly because they are so busy, and by the time they close they're all so exhausted, all they want to do is go home. And, I'm sure they all have lives outside their jobs, whether it is school, or family, or another job. I'm thinking the owner might want to invest in a cleaning service to come in and spruce up the place. That can be extremely costly, but I would think investing in the place might be a good idea. I'm wondering if the owner rents the space, and does not actually own it. But it is cute and girly, bright pink walls, and a little "chandelier". Trying to obtain an appointment was quite difficult, but the online system [vagaroo] the business uses is very user friendly. Obtaining an appointment takes patience, because it is so very busy YOU must be flexible. That is how busy this place gets. The girls I went to (only 3), were extremely talented, skilled and proficient. That is why it was so busy. That's why it was so difficult trying to obtain an appointment. So, the place has extreme talent, but fungus on four nails really made me feel miffed. But that is the chance you take when you go to ANY NAIL SALON, diseases viruses and bacteria are rampant. I give credit to anyone who joins this profession. So, this is my review, it is not meant to bash someone's business, that's not right. I had really high expectations of this place prior to my first visit but I felt as if I was left short handed (no pun intended) as I left. The girls were really nice and the place (especially the utensils/tools) were really clean which were great details but the paint job was below average. Maybe it was the young lady who helped me or maybe she was just learning, I'm not sure, but not even 2 hours later one nail started chipping. That was only one issue. My nails were left in noticeably uneven lengths, there were bubbles in the polish, and during the service my cuticles were being yanked off. Literally my hand was being pulled towards the girl everytime she tried clipping. As for the paint, it was obvious where every single coat was on the nail. I've come here a few times already, my coffins always looked perfect. However, the last time will be my last visit. The last time I went I saw a little dark circle on my nail as she was filing but I didn't think anything of it. As a nail tech and a professional you should be able to recognize the beginning of a fungus. She never pointed it out, either she didn't notice Bc she wasn't paying attention or she saw and didn't care about anything other than the money. She should have pointed that out and suggested an alternative or suggest to skip that week. I have been getting tips since I was 16 I'm 25 now and my nails never looked or felt worse. Every nail bed I touch hurts. And now I have a minor fungus on one of my nails from god knows what, most likely the products they are using. But the best part is, when I texted her saying I have to cancel my appt Bc of a fungus from the Tips, I got NO REPLY. No apology, no sense of concern, nothing. Only message I received was the automated one saying my appt was cancelled, so clearly you saw my text but chose to completely ignore me. Ok. I've been in customer service a long time, that is not how things work hun. Esp when the client is a good tipper and travels 45 mins to come see you SMH. I really can't believe how disgusting my natural nails are now, DISGUSTING. And for those of you who think "that's what happens when you get tips" no. It's not. If you need proof I'll send you to someone who actually does a great job, uses great product and actually CARES about the health of your nails. read more

Wanted to see what all the talk was about, and I must say I was highly disappointed. I got a top gel coat which turned dull in less then a week and then about 4 weeks later(after getting my first filling) when I go to a different location to get a filling we notice that there was fungus growing under my nail. First time trying pink nails, I made a appointment for a pedicure at 9am they took me right away and even squeezed in a mani! They are by far the best, ontime, very clean and on top of that they do killer nails!!! Highly recommend cant wait to come back! read more

Guys who is posting positive reviews the staff?? The colors available are dried out the bottles are filthy and the brands unrecognizable. The tech that did my nails admitted the color she had on wasn't even from there! Nail tech didn't ask me questions on what I wanted, broke my pinky nail over filing my gel off. And soaked off my gel in a cold bowl of acetone?? PPl this is not how to take gel off. She couldn't shape my nails, they are all different lengths with jagged edges! Her paint skills were like she walked off the street and said just said i'm gonna give this a try today. She had me wash hands before applying gel, do other people do this? moisture is a no no if you want gel to stay. she didn't use a dehydrator. Just bad! No skill and for $30 lets get some trained talent. the experience was far from relaxing it was so cold the employees had coats on, and she was texting in-between my dries and paint application, just so unprofessional. wish I stayed home and did my own nails, or walked out when she broke my nail in the first 30 seconds of the appointment and tried to act like it didn't happen... read more

Nane (the owner) is a great nail tech. She is thorough, creative and truly cares about her customers. All of the ladies here are courteous and pleasant. The salon is clean and organized. One of the qualities I like most about Pink Nails is that they are respectful of people's time. When I have an appointment, I have not had to wait more than 5 minutes to be serviced. On 6/24/15 was my first visit (which is why it gets 4 stars upon my return we'll see if it earns the 5th) at Pink Nails & More and overall I believe my sister discovered a gem! I'm super super super particular about my nails and believe I should always get what I request of my nail tech within reason of course....neat cuticles, adequate acrylic fill, clean nails underneath (no gunk, residue or old polish) and designs that stand out! To reiterate I'm super super particular so with that being said I was looking for a place where I could get great fills, creative designs in a welcoming, hygienic, professional environment. My former nail salon in Baldwin for a little over a year was starting to bore me and simply my nail guy was getting lazy. He was very uninspired and took advantage of my patience (would have me waiting 1-2 hours with a scheduled appointment) then would be "too tired" to do what I wanted. Ladies you know that's not what anyone wants to hear after 2 weeks of new growth and the waiting time to get in the chair. Therefore, after being dissatisfied long enough I complained to my sis as I was in search of better client service and more creative nail techs. Keep in mind distance and money aren't a factor (I've traveled as far as Brooklyn from Suffolk County) as long as I'm content and my nail needs are satisfied. Well after lots of research my sis found me this place and after reading multiple reviews and scrolling through countless IG pics I decided to call Pink Nails & More to make our appts. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment for my sis and I, the receptionist Giselle, was very accommodating in making sure we could get our appointments together. Afterwards, I received a text confirmation for our appts (super impressive). When we arrived, we were received immediately so there was no wait. Giselle (she took over for Alba who was out that day) did my fill along with a uniquely gorgeous design sparkling of stones and bright colors. Even when I pointed out and requested that underneath and around my nails be cleaned further, Giselle didn't flinch and sans attitude was understanding stating "she rather her customers be satisfied than unhappy and not return". Her demeanor was pleasantly professional but also down to earth and fun. On our way out when we inquired about the work of the other techs, she even explained to my sister (who had Renee) and I that we have the option to try out the other techs to see whom we like. That's great and allows you to explore without feeling like the techs take it personally. Since this was my first time here, I booked my next appointment with the owner so I can truly get a feel for the caliber of service Pink Nails & More offers. Figure it'll determine if I'll stay permanently but I do know this is that for now I'll be returning for the following reasons: The salon is clean, they use quality products with an array of polish colors and have different service options (gel, acrylic) to choose from. The bathroom is tidy, all tools are sanitized, there's literally minimal waiting (if any time at all since its appt only) and timeliness of service was on point as I was out in just a little over an hour. Most of all they have lots of decorative supplies creatively (stones, 3-d art, etc) to make my nails as crazy or as demure as I want them to be. Lastly, that free gel top coat with the Yelp check-in when you arrive is a definite plus. I received tons of compliments on my nails already and can't wait for Nane to bless my nails...which I'll leave a review for as well. read more

I was so excited to try this place. I went in for a gel manicure. Everything was fine until I noticed my nail was cracked (this nail was the first nail to chip) I asked her if she could fix it and she said she wasn't worried about it and the gel would cover it. When it came time to pick a color it was difficult because there was no color wheel. I told her what color I wanted and she kept coming back with colors for me to look at. I felt like she was getting annoyed that I couldn't make up my mind. When my gel manicure was done i noticed I had polish on the skin around my nails. I also notice there was a bubble on one nail and the polish looked streaky. I've had gel done before so I know it shouldn't look like this. Today is Wednesday (I had my nails done this past Friday) and all of my gel polish has peeled off. I just had to sit and soak all of the polish off myself. It looked like a bad regular manicure. I wasted $30. I was going to give them another shot but decided not to go back. read more
