The thickness was perfect, and the color is gorgeous! He even gave a hand massage. The service throughout was quick, friendly, and thorough. They were even dealing with a difficult customer at the time and everyone was so nice and professional even though I was losing my patience with that person, myself. lol The salon was clean, tidy, and welcoming. Walked in for a pedicure and honestly wasn't expecting much, was just looking for something near my work with walk-in's available that had good reviews. I was hoping it'd be a little less expensive than Anthony Vince (my usual walk-in spot), but it was beyond well worth it. James did my pedicure, and it was honestly the best pedicure I've had in the Seattle area, probably the best I've had in at least a decade. He was so thorough and meticulous. The scrub was actually exfoliating and the massage was an actual massage, unlike most places I've been to lately where it just feels like they're doing little more than rubbing the lotion in. He spent a good amount of time trimming my cuticles and shaping my nails, something I feel a lot of salons rush through. And he was skilled in polish application. Super nice staff I'm not sure what the name of my nail tech was but she was so sweet and very accommodating. I wasn't sure if the color I wanted was good but she made sure to triple check and ask to make sure I felt happy. And she even gave me some beauty secrets. The nails were pretty, I was shy so she didn't know one thing that she missed but if I would've told her I know she would've fixed it. My new go-to nail salon. Walked in for a pedicure. They were busy, but I only had to wait 15 minutes. Used the bathroom while I waited, and found it clean and well-stocked. James was very kind, made sure I was comfortable, tested the water for temperature (I've been to too many salons where the water temperature was either too hot or cold, and techs didn't seem to care), and did an excellent job. I got a shellac pedicure, with a cat-eye design that completely wow'd me. They have a child-sized chair so I'll be able to bring my granddaughter next time. What a godsend this place turned out to be. I saw it as I was looking for Alderwood Nails which somehow has a 4+ star rating here on yelp. However when I went in they were going to have me sit in a pedicure chair that had nail and cuticle clippings all over it and even in the water! I shudder to think of their other sanitation practices:( I chose to leave and check out this place instead and thank God I did. It's awesome! EXCELLENT service, excellent atmosphere and design, and by far the best pedicure chairs in town!!! There's even a mini kids pedi chair for mommy and me pedi's:) I highly recommend this place and will make it my regular nail salon from now on. Not only do they do nails but they also do facials, massage, and waxing. They use high end quality products with an Ice Cream theme to the scents (flavors), and wonderful skin care products too. LOVE IT!!! I have a 2 pedicures from them now and what a treat for the price, they handle my feet as though they were delicate china and leave them feeling as soft as baby feet. The painting of the toes is done with precision rather than slapping some color on them. They use a system that works and give you a nice leg massage in the process. Next I have had a full set of acrylics. What I love about the way that they did them is that they are not thick and blocky but rather as natural looking as possible. I have had lots of compliments and wishes of nails being like mine while secretly giggling that they are fake. Pink nails and their technicians take their time to do a fabulous job and look at their work as though each pair of hands and feet are a masterpiece. The decor of the salon is pink and just welcomes you into what my kids call "Mommy's pretty time". They offer a kiddie size chair so little girls can have their tootsies done as well. The salon does more than nails, they offer facials, waxing ect... it is quite an extensive menu of spa services, all at a very reasonable price. Saw good reviews for this place... Was excited until they CUT TWO OF MY FINGER TIPS by filing so hard! I shouldn't have paid at all for that service. But I was decent enough to declare that I'd pay for 50% of the service. She told me the cut was an accident and I should still pay for the service. I understand it's an accident. Accidents happen. I'm sure the lady didn't intentionally do it of course. But take care of me after cutting me. When I said I would not pay for the service, she CALLED THE COPS. Update: My pedi polish lasted over 1-week before the first nail chipped. Came in on a Saturday during the middle of the afternoon and inquired about 4 pedicures. I did not have a reservation. The ladies fit us right in. They were currently finishing up 3 other pedicures, so our wait was minimal. They set up the spas quickly, and my group of girls quickly relaxed in the over sized electronic massage chairs. The staff was great and followed all the health requirements, as per my observation. $20 for a regular pedicure $40 for signature pedicure with scrub, massage, and paraffin treatment. This is what happened before: they called me a few hours after I had made my appointment, I wasn't able to answer and they left a message saying my appointment was cancelled because they were too busy at that time and I needed to call and reschedule. Then I arrived 10 minutes early on my rescheduled time and had to continue to wait 15 minutes past my appointment time! I finally spoke up and was told that I was next. After: all my lashes fell out!!! When I went back, she was telling me I wasn't careful enough and not to touch or brush them. I understand that I already have had a bad experience before but after only 2 days I had to go back and have her add more lashes, she kept saying I have oily skin and that I have really short hair and couldn't add more?! My friend and I dropped in for pedicures here yesterday. I heard good things about Pink and they did not disappoint. I had one of the most gentle pedicures I've ever had! I picked a color that was crackle without realizing it and the tech was really nice and pointed out that it was crackle and I told her that I just liked it because it had sparkles in it so she went and found a color that was really sparkly and not crackle. Everything was really clean, even the bathroom. The chairs were really nice. The nicest part was that you could see that the tools they use were being cleaned properly. My pedicure looks great and my feet felt amazing afterward! When we went to checked out we were floored that the price was so reasonable! I will defiantly be back! read more

Frustrating! I made an appointment the day prior for an appointment at 3pm the following day. When I came in at 3 for my appointment, I was made to wait an HOUR before anyone even started on my nails. So disrespectful of my time! I just had them remove my gel nail polish so I could go home & wrap my own nails. I had so many other things to do that day, and Pink Nails completely wasted my time. I started coming six months ago as I couldn't find anywhere I was happy with! About two months ago I switched to gel over my acrylic fills. Omg they last forever. At least three weeks maybe four if I run out if time and still no lifting. I have to say there was a lady filling in and I had her and my nails were a bit thick and didn't like my pedicure. And big points for timeliness; when I make an appointment, my appointment starts on time and they do my nails start to finish without jumping around to other customers like other shops I've tried. Great staff and trusted experience. I usually have the whole deal - mani (sometimes gel), pedi, brow and lip wax and have not been disappointed. After trying several spas in the area (and I used to inconveniently drive to Seattle), I find the gals at Pink to provide exceptional service at a very reasonable price - and they are open on Sunday. I've been coming to Pink Nail and Spa for about a year and a half and even though there are many nail salons closer to my house, I choose this team because I trust them. They are clean, tools are sanitized and they do not take shortcuts. So many issues with this place. Customer service is unacceptable. I asked them to do regular nail polish for my sister and they did shellac not even honoring my request for regular nail polish. They charged me for that shellac set when i clearly told them to not do shellac on my sister. Then, when i called them to try to figure things out, the lady was unbelievably rude. She was arguing with me over the phone not even letting me talk about the situation. Then instead of returning my money for the inconvenience of me paying extra, she decided to start arguing with me and saying that my sister was asking them to cut down the nails shorter so they would charge extra for that.
