There salon is very clean and all the workers are very professional. I called same day and someone was able to take me within twenty minutes. The pedicure water was cold....HOT WATER PLEASE! My shellac manicure lasted only 9 days, and my previous shellac manicure here lasted less then two weeks. The verdict is still out- I'll give them one try. The reason shellac starts flaking and peeling too soon is that the technician did not properly prep/clean the nail beds prior to application or an Improper cure occurred - it is possible the bulbs are old in the curing lamp and the product did not properly cure. Since this was my second non-lasting shellac, I'm pretty sure it was the curing lamps. read more

By far the worst experience I have EVER had at a nail salon. If I could give this place a ZERO I would. Went for a pedicure prior to foot surgery and having to wear a boot for a few weeks. The woman who did the pedicure rushed through it like she had some where better to be. Did not take direction at all, cut my right great toe in 2 different places, drawing blood and had no concern about it. Didn't say a word just grabbed and shoved my feet and legs around. Ultimately ended up with a raging infection, started swelling and becoming fiery red within 24 hours (did not use sterilized instruments, obviously not even clean ones) Had to visit the podiatrist to have part of the nail removed and the drainage cultured, and will have to take antibiotics for 10 days. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. read more

Everyone is really sweet and friendly and they're open earlier than most places which is awesome but I unfortunately got a really bad fill when I came in on a Monday morning. After I left and had the chance to look at my nails they were quite bad.. uneven..polish everywhere.. the technician had accidentally cut my cuticles twice and I was actually bleeding...and two hour later my thumb nail had just snapped in half. I told the lady that I did not any thing more than what I came in for. So, why when I got to the register I was charged $48.00??? The prices jumped $20 for a BASIC mani/pedi no polish from the time I walked in the door to when I was leaving. And yes, I left a tip for the ladies that took care of me. I came here with my Kid to get a pedicure we set down in the chair for 45 minutes soaking out feet so then she can come to me and just rush the pedicure she got done with my pedicure in less than 8minutes I believe she's the owner ! I've been in many nail salons, both good and bad. Sky Nails is definitely one of the better ones. They are clean, welcoming, and efficient. The shop is small, but well organized, with very friendly nail techs (mostly female and one gentleman). I made an appointment for two for the classic mani & pedi but got my time messed up and went in late. Even though we arrived late, they fit us in and gave us wonderful service. Most nail salon's do a basic foot rub and scrub, but Sky Nails goes above and beyond on their basic "classic" service. I was so pleased, I'm looking forward to getting one of the specialty treatments. As it is, the skin around my feet, calves, hands, and forearms is soft and glowing now! I came in about a month ago for a pedicure at the recommendation of a friend. I called to see if they could fit me in, and the woman on the phone told me to come in at 5:30. When I showed up and said I had an appointment, they looked at me like I was crazy, but they were able to fit me in pretty quickly since there were only three other people there. At first I was really enjoying the experience. The lady who started my pedicure was very friendly, and the salon seemed very clean. They use liners in the soaking tubs, and actually change them each time. But after they used the callus remover on my feet, they ended up rinsing off the dead skin in the foot soak tub. Ew! The polish job was also a bit of a disaster. There was another woman who came over to paint my nails, and the polish was a bit thick. After she painted my first nail, she went to add some nail thinner to the bottle. She ended up painting the rest of my nails with the thinned out polish, so I had one nail with really good coverage, and the rest of my nails are more translucent. If it were just the poor polish job, I'd consider coming back. But the gross sanitary practices are inexcusable. What if they used the callus remover on someone with a foot fungus? I won't risk returning. read more

My nail tech (didn't catch her name) was so sweet, she took great care with my nails and made them how I wanted. I recommend coming here! Prices are comparable to other places I've visited in the greater Seattle area and in Orange County, CA. They take walk in appointments but beware, it can take a bit of time in waiting for the next available tech to help you with your nail needs. I went with my 10yr old and both got shellac fingers while I had a basic pedi plus the salt scrub and she got her toes painted... our nails are beautiful and the color change shellac is awesome! We spent around $80 (not Incld tip) but for 2 shellacs, pedi, and paint...I think it's a great value. The place is not as clean as it could be. when she was preparing to sand my nails down she dropped a bit on the floor and attempted to use it I had to ask her to give me a clean one. Only one of them speaks English so you can't tell the one that's doing your nails about a concern. They are pushy about the upgrades. They charged me 15 extra dollars for a foot massage which in every other salon I've been to came with the package. My acrylics are thick and uneven I have a ton of cuticles around my toenails still. While my nails were drying I accidentally nicked one not only did I get a click of the tongue she only removed the part that I nicked she didn't remove the nail polish from the entire nail . I mean really? Where is your professionalism? By that time I was just done I wanted to get out of there. And trust me as mad as it makes me I have to go to another salon and get it all fixed I can't walk around like this!! Don't waste your time, money, potential health or sanity!!! read more

Helen, who was able to do a natural nail with the gel polish, is an experienced and personable professional. Her attention to detail( putting polish on the tip ends of the fingernail... not just on top) and methods used were also hygienic . She asked me to choose a color, and I didn't have to wait long for her to start my manicure . I called ahead to make sure they weren't too busy. She used a base coat, UV or " gelish" light to set the polish. I saw two women getting pedicures , and I asked a few questions about pedicures, too. Years ago, I used to get the acrylic nails. These left my nail bed thin and now that my fingernails have recovered from those , this was my first gel polish salon experience . When in the area, I will return to see Helen. She is a nice person, and she did a great job that ended with a firm lower arm and hand lotion massage. If you're sensitive to acrylic dust or powder, they do open the back door. I love my nails, went back almost a week later because my top coat was peeling off they did another coat for free. My top coat again is peeling off, so weird and random. But you can't beat $35 for the dip! Not an overly busy salon, off the busy road though with weird parking but it's worth it. I love the gal who does my nails as well. read more

I had a gift certificate for sky nails which I use today on my birthday. I have never been super impressed when I've gone there in the past but this was the final straw I was so upset it being on my birthday and a certificate that somebody gave me as a gift yes that's it I'm never going back. I went in and asked for a pedicure and a shellac manicure with the French tips. The French tips were really wide and fake looking. It looked horrible and I told her I wanted them thinner so she said yeah OK. Then when she finished I could tell she did didn't do anything different. I said they're way too thick and the manager lady came over and said well maybe let's put some sparkle on top and I said OK maybe that'll make it look not so big and bright. It didn't help at all I was so frustrated. I said hey can I just have it the solid color and she said yeah OK. So they put a solid color over the already many layers of shellac gel that they had already applied. When she was done the color that I picked didn't even cover completely and it was so thick it looked like there was bubbles at the ends of my nails. I said something and she said no I don't see anything wrong. I was just so upset I had to get out of there. A couple other things I was not a fan of... The pedicure that I picked was the nicest one, they put this green stuff on my legs and it was minty and cool at first and then it seem to burn. There was a Keurig coffee and a case full of waters but no one ever asked me if I wanted anything to drink. And the weirdest thing of all when I first got there there was this old guy sitting waiting he wasn't with anyone he went into the back room with the manager lady they were talking for a while and then it was quiet for a while and then he came out went to the bathroom and left. He didn't pay for anything he didn't have any services done that I could see it was the most bizarre thing ever! I've given this place a couple of chances and I'm just done worst products and services ever. read more

This place did look clean or smell good , old chairs, staff forced us to get most expensive services without asking or checking with us and our nails did not look good after and shellac did not last, nail lady did not bother to clean and wipe off all my old nail polish I did at home, (she is lazy!) she trimmed my finger nails into a funky shape , my nails looked weird, very disappointed, I even tip $10 for a$25 manicure with shellac but def not coming back! read more

Pristine, friendly, and professional! The small nail salon offered a nice escape from the hot week we've had. The white tile and the light blue colored walls made me instantly feel cooler. The place, although on the smaller side feels open and spacious. One large screen TV hangs over the manicure stations, so catching parts of the Cardinals vs Cowboys game was a nice amenity. First pedicure after having my baby's day it was AMAZING! I came in last minute before the establishment closed, I don't recommend doing that. They took my business, which I am very thankful for.
