I grew up nearby and have been to Pink Nails dozens of times. Like, I went there as a kid for birthday parties, and they did my gel manicure for my wedding! Overall: they are good. The way the salon is set up inside has been changed a few times, and looks very pretty! As with most nail places, quality can vary depending on who is doing your nails. Annie has always been great for me, paying close attention to nail shape and polish coverage. The location is convenient for me, and there is more parking in the back! During the height of COVID they took things seriously, checked temperatures and asked for info in case someone else there was sick. At holidays, and sometimes just randomly, they have given customers gifts of lotion or hand sanitizing wipes. A few things to note: it seems like "regulars" get a special treatment here, kind of alienating those of us who just get our nails done once in a while. It seems like the manager takes phone calls, greets previously mentioned elite regulars, and sometimes hovers over a nail tech's shoulder watching them work for a while. Kind of uncomfortable. I have been turned away a couple of times for walk-ins, which is understandable but frustrating. Not always the best experience for a gender non conforming individual, got lots of giggles and chatter between staff when getting a manicure with a masculine person. I've started going to other nail places and like them better. If I couldn't get an appointment anywhere else, I might consider coming back. read more

I walked in and got my pedicure ($32) done even though they hesitated and had to check the schedule book. Simple service plus got my gel manicure taken off, which was $10. Maybe on the pricey side for everything. No shoulder massage. Pedicure was quick. Very basic for $32. read more

So I decided to give this place a try since it was only a few blocks away from me and I couldn't make it to Flushing bc i had my daughter with me and I was in desperate need of a mani & pedi. They charge $15 for a French manicure and $25 for a French pedicure. Imo, the pedicure sucked and the French came out decent. So my French manicure...you can still see the pink underneath the white tips! I guess you get what you pay for-3d/4d/nail designs? It's complete lopsided and there's no way to fix it, I have to wait until it grows out. She waxed too much out of my left brow and it's terrible. I had to go cut my hair to have bangs to cover it up! This nail salon is the WORST nail salon I have ever had the displeasure of going to. I have been to nail salons in different states and all over the world and have never experienced such horrible service. The owners and employees are racist and call customers by demeaning terms & their employees are incompetent as well. The older lady who gave me a pedicure claimed that she was too "old" to properly give me a strong massage during exfoliation and applying lotion. Then she commented on how I should understand because I am much younger than her. I was extremely frustrated by this because I am paying as a customer to get my nails done. I should not be being told to accommodate her needs while she gives me a pedicure that isn't even halfway decent! In addition, they did my other friends feet first for 30 minutes and did mine in less than 15 minutes. The service is not all equal and it is impossible to know before going if you will be getting your money's worth based on how busy they are or who you get. Came here for a deep cleansing facial and it left my skin glowing!!! I was a little skeptical initially with how their facials were but the entire appointment was extremely relaxing. It didn't even hurt when my blackheads were extracted since they use a machine. My skin after the appointment looked so clean and my facial lady was so nice. read more

Prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I normally pay $25 for a color gel powder & its $47 here. I stopped here because it was on my way home from work and I didn't want to go out of my way to my usual spot. Usually powder gel is $35 at most but I was shocked when my gel powder plus pedi came out to $77 plus $10 tip I paid $87 for the service and two of my nails have scratches on them. It seems like a cheap place but walking in and seeing 3 other customers when I'm used to a full salon just shows they're trying to make up for their losses by charging ridiculous prices! Don't go here unless you wanna pay close to $100 for a mani pedi. read more

This place is amazing if you come at a good time. Though there may be bad reviews, not every place is perfect. For the people who posted about coming around 7PM, being considerate you could have been a bit lenient with the reviews. They close at 7:30PM, if you work, who wouldn't want to go home after serving a bunch of people, doing hands and toes and doing spa services? I mean come on. There may be some flaws but who and what place doesn't have any? They can certainly work on some things but they are great with their service if you just call them up again. Came here to get my nails done - all i asked was for a simple powder set with acrylic tips - nothing fancy. The lady did such a horrendous job that her coworker even asked her what kind of shape this was when she was buffing out my nails. Expressed my dissatisfaction with the owner so she told me to pay and come back tomorrow they would do a complete new set. Prices are outrageous by the way, paid $150 to get my hands and feet done. The next day, another girl cut me with the nail file on the side of my hand - never apologized and I still let it slide UNTIL two of my nails cracked not even a week later with powder and acrylic tips - never happened to me before until I came to this salon. Will never come back. P.S.: saw the owner yell at a girl for simply asking if she could put the tip on her card since she forgot to bring cash. The owner said: "You know the rule here, we let it slide this time. Always bring cash." ^^ Tipping is OPTIONAL, and no one would want to tip for such shitty service to be honest. I rarely post about my experiences at beauty salons but I had such a wonderful time at Pink Nails that I felt I needed to share! The staff are all so professional and kind and make sure to tend to you as soon as you come in! The facility is also very clean, well kept, and orderly which I think only added to my experience. I got powder gel on my nails and they turned out perfect! Not only are they beautiful, but the staff member who did may nails was extremely meticulous and made sure that my nails were cleaned up nicely before any product was even applied. I didn't feel like I was being rushed and really felt as though I was paid attention to and taken care of, unlike many other places I've been to where I felt rushed or disregarded. Everyone is so extremely friendly and I really felt as though my experience was top notch! I've already recommended this place to my friends who live in the area and plan to continuing to visit myself! I went there last minute before they closed I called in and asked if they can take me due to the time i was coming which was around 6:40 pm and they closed at 7:30pm the lady said yes they would take me so I decided to try a new nail salon for the first time. I didnt bother asking for the prices because all I was getting was a filling which shouldnt be more then $40 I was charged $90 ended up spending $100 with tip included!!!! I had TWO women working on my nails they rushed everything and finished everything in less then 40 min. There was people there before me and my nails were done before theirs when I came in last. I've been going to this nail salon for a few years and it's been hit or miss. Prices are on the high end but it's convenient for me. There's been times where they've done a bad job and someone else would try to repair the damage but yet I kept going back - all in all, I reasoned with myself, the good outweighed the bad. The icing on the cake was when I had a $42 service (the sign in the salon indicated the higher prices were due to the minimum wage increase which goes into effect at the end of this month), I asked for change for a $20 bill and the manicurist tipped herself $11 and gave me $9. She did a good job but certainly not a $50+good job for a powdered manicure. This is where I move on and find another salon - it was long in coming! read more

This used to be my go to nail salon but there have been too many times lately where they have not be accommodating. I went in for a pedicure and was told if would be a 10 min wait. They took down my name and I went to grab a bagel next door. I came back in 5 min they greeted me and told me they were almost ready. Then after 10 min of waiting they told me that they had mistaken the time and they would not be able to see me at all today. What? It was 12pm on a Tuesday. RUDE OWNER! I went in on a weeknight after work, when I told them what services I wanted, the owner said not now. Not now?! I said excuse me and she continued to say not now. Note that there were maybe about 4 other customers in the salon at this time. Then I inquired about getting eyebrows done and she said it would be 10 minutes so I waited. When I was done and paid she told me next time If I want nails I need to make an appointment.
