They…read morerecognize old and new faces and are eager to help newbies, like myself get checked in efficiently and with such kindness. They also go over any concerns you have if you ask about it and try to address them prior to. I was worried about dehydration and my kidneys with my first time doing IV Contrast. The nurse took my blood to test my creatinine levels and as a precaution gave me a salene dose pre and post IV contrast. The one star is for what happened on the other side of the door. I was there for a brain scan to rule out something. On the forms and every time I spoke with a nurse or an MRI technician I mentioned that I have rods in my back, to forewarn about pre-existing medical issues. After the scan, I was waiting for the male nurse who got me situated with the machine to finish up putting things away so I could have his arm for an assist in getting up off the table safely and to avoid hitting my head on the mould (to secure my head during the MRI) around it. A female nurse came in and asked me if I needed help getting up. I said, "Yeah, I have a bad back and I get dizzy." That right there was her first clue. She put out her arm and I trusted that her as a healthcare professional would know what to do. NOPE. I grabbed her arm and she pulled me up quickly at a 90° angle and I screamed in agony and then she dropped me back down to the table. Immediately since, I have been experiencing new issues; significant loss of motion, increased pain, and my back buckles when I walk nowadays. It's the scariest thing. I'm pretty sure she tore something like my gluteus. I don't know for sure and I just recently (few weeks ago) had my back and pelvis scanned. Do they have any idea how difficult it will be to request another one shortly after? My range of motion prior to visiting on 11/12/24 was really good (in consideration of my pre-existing back issues). Now, I can't walk without extreme pain and stiffness. I can't sit and scooch to one side without tremendous pain. I can't lie down on the side that was affected by her pulling me up without being in agony. I can't sleep without waking up to pain each night. My walking step strides went from average steps to baby steps with additional new pain. She knows who she is if she reads this and though it was unintentional and an accident there are some basic fundamentals she should know prior to working in a place that has people coming and going with all sorts of issues.... NEVER LEAD WHEN YOU'RE THE ASSIST. Her arm was supposed to be there for support, not as the pull. I rotated to the side and used the male nurses arm after that snafu and he did it right. He didn't try to move me any which way and just allowed me to get up at my pace. Happy scans!

I was given a clean smock to wear, sat down with a friendly nurse to get the IV in my arm, and as I went in the big tube, the MD was in full communication with me to ensure that I was comfortable and that nothing was going wrong. In the end I was given a CD so I could see the results (even though I wouldn't be able to interpret the results/data with my BS in political science), but I can't seem to get any images to show on my computer.

I called yesterday to have all my images put on a CD and all of my records because I am going to be changing to another company and they said they would have them ready for me at the desk so I came in to get my CD and of course they were not ready and I had a sit here for 45 minutes and wait for them to print everything up horrible service and I will never come back here again or ever refer them to anybody I'm disgusted

I don't understand the delay. These images were to confirm/deny something very obvious. It's not ethical to cause undo anxiety to people awaiting test results. If this facility is so backed up and under staffed that their patient's results cannot be read in a timely manner I will surely go elsewhere in the future and advise family and friends to do likewise.

The reason being when I waited for couple days and still not getting my result I called them, they gave me such a hard time on the phone. They have my Dr. information on file when I call to get my result send to dr. they refused!! They told me that my Dr. has to call them to request the copy in a very rude way!! very disappointed by their customer service or maybe the receptionist.

The most disturbing part was the elevator did not work to go up for the testing floor. You had to climb multiple sets of stairs to get up to the second floor. I would think they should make you aware of this when you schedule your appointment. Many people coming for testing are probably disabled and can't climb up stairs. Beware do not make an appointment at this site if you can't climb stairs. Also, 5 to 6 business days to get written test results. Unbelievable!

I think I had to wait maybe 5 minutes. Nothing major at all. His bedside manor is great. He's easy to talk to. He listens to me and truly seems to care about my concerns. He explained things to me in a way that was very easy to understand during my consultation. Today, during my epidural, he was great at keeping me calm and talked me through each step of the way. When the procedure was over, I was shocked at how quickly and flawless the entire procedure was. I actually said, "That's it?" Dr. Lee and his team were fantastic! Thank you! Prior to meeting with Dr. Lee, I met with Dr. Koutsoumbelis. I left one orthopedic group on LI to switch to Dr. K who was highly recommended to me by a top PT on Long Island. Dr. K added me to his Friday schedule within an hour of hearing about my case. Since I was a last minute addition to his schedule, I wasn't sure what to expect. Not once did I feel rushed during our appointment. He has a great bedside manor. He had me laughing during one of the most stressful days of my life. He was truly optimistic and therefore I felt optimistic. He connected with me (he skis and I snowboard) and even took time to tell me about mountains I should check out when I'm in Colorado this April. It's rare to be able to connect with a doctor. They usually want you in and out of their office ASAP. That wasn't my experience with Dr. K and Dr. Lee for that matter. He's progressive and smart. He instantly put me on a very helpful regimen. I left Dr. K's office feeling hopeful and motivated to get started. Overall, I am very pleased with both Dr. Lee and Dr. K. I am glad that I transitioned from another orthopedic group to Central Orthopedic. I highly recommend both doctors. They make a great team.

Not to mention when I tried to get an appointment weeks ago on a Saturday I was told I couldn't because I was a new patient. I explained I have been a patient for many years just not in the last 5 because I lost my job with Covid and had no insurance. That apparently put me as a new patient. So now I make this appointment 2 weeks out and they cancel and can't offer me another Saturday for 3 weeks and can't see me at 6 after I work. Thank god I spoke to an urgent care doctor who felt bad for my situation and will refill my prescription that have bad side effects if I stop taking it. Do better.
