I had ordered a Chocolate Mousse with Choc. Chips unfortunately that is not what was given to my sister when I had her pick up the cake for me. She was given a "Congratulations Aline & Charlie" white cake. I was very upset with the fact that 1. This is clearly not my cake 2. Not even the flavor I wanted 3. Both cakes were for an event. My event was slightly ruined due to having the incorrect cake handed to my sister. According to her the lady at the register just looked at the receipt and handed her a cake, my sister asked if she had to pay to which the lady at the front said no, (I did not pay online I received a call later that day). I was unable to take the cake back due to the location being closed at the time I got home and now it is Monday 11/24/25 and I am unable to get a new/replacement cake and I was unable to get a hold of someone from this location. I've been wanting to write this review for a while but I'm finally getting around to doing so. I've used this bakery twice. Once for my gender reveal cake last year and again for my SIL's gender reveal cake. I spoke to one of the ladies on the phone and explained what I wanted and she rushed me on the phone and didn't care to listen to what I was asking for. I even emailed them what I wanted written on my cake and they still managed to spell the month June wrong. When I went to pick up my cake, they wrote Jun instead of June. When I told her, she said I could fix it with a sharpie!? Excuse me? I said no you need to re print it for me because it was edible paper as I wanted a burn cake. She reluctantly went to the back and re printed it for me. For my sister in law, again I spoke to one of the ladies on the phone and explained in detail what I wanted and even wrote it in the email. When my SIL went to pick up the cake, they forgot to add the pearls on it. I even paid extra for the pearls. So she had to wait while they added that. And they didn't care enough to write " it's a boy" , they just wrote "boy". Who does that? I had written in writing to write it's a boy. Also, somehow my cake was $80 and my SIL cake was $180 only 6 months later and both were for 10-12 people. Their cakes are really delicious I must say. The blue Bavarian was delicious. However, they're very unprofessional when speaking on the phone and clearly they can't follow instructions nor can they spell a simple word correctly. I considered using them again for my son's first bday next month but not worth it to constantly worry if my cake is going to be correct or if something is going to go wrong again . Delectable, baked perfectly, beautifully presented. The consistency, texture, and sugar levels were all spot on. The cake was devoured. We had two cakes (technically 3) and Cakery Bakery was by far the superior cake. It was moist, not dry, and full of flavor. Marjan was lovely and delivered the cake to our location in downtown. Our CU is hosting our 90th Annual Meeting and needed a cake for our event. I knew about this bakery from awhile back and decided to contact them. The owner Marjan is very nice and helpful. We have been going back and forth with the details and some of my team went there for cake sample tasting. I needed a cake for my friends surprise birthday. It had to be very special and specifically lemon flavored. I wanted it to be Texas Hold 'Em themed, so I went in there with an idea in my head. The women who helped me was wonderful. She listened to every thing I wanted and needed for the cake. The best part about the whole thing, was that she packed my cake so that I could transport it to Palm Desert so that I would never worry if it would slide around, or get too warm. Ordered from their website. I guess it was a 3rd party for delivery. They were a hour late and the guy did not speak any English. I tried reaching out to the 3rd party and the guy was rude and of course took no responsibility for it. Overall, the cake was delicious, but I reached out to the bakery as well about the delivery, they said they don't take responsibility which is understood. But I believe there should be more to it since it was a surprise cake and it was a cheap cake. Tip- use DoorDash to order. It's a bit more, but at least you can work with DoorDash if anything happens to your cake/pastries. read more
