Fantastic coffee. We got a vanilla+lavender latte and a maple spice latte. They really know how to balance the syrup so it doesn't overpower the creaminess of the milk or the actual coffee itself. This place is so cute and very instagramy! Love they have a vegan muffin and vegan milk options. Coffee is great but the last two times I've ordered a iced drink they have made it hot each time, the order screen says iced as well... First time I said something and they remade it but this time I just let it go. I don't usually like hot drinks and always go iced, so I was bummed. So maybe they need to repeat the order and double check before they make it. First time I was the only person in there, so they weren't slammed. And today as well, walked right up to the register not busy at all. My first visit here I think the owners walked in as I was ordering and the door was shut, because it was cold outside, the owner got after the lady at the register helping me saying that it's uninviting that the door is shut. It was rude to reprimand her in front of a customer. It was cold, he left the door open and I felt the breeze all the way at the register. I don't think leaving it shut it uninviting, it prevents flys and other bugs from getting in, which is unsanitary for a business that serves food and drinks. This place I think needs some revamping on customer service-as other reviews have said the same thing. read more

Just went here for the first time and honestly had a really great coffee but TERRIBLE experience. The 2 ladies working were not friendly at all, super unwelcoming. When I ordered I asked for a 16oz latte and it came out to $8... when I got my drink it was only a 12oz. I asked her what size drink she charged me for she said a 12oz... After leaving the coffee shop I felt like that was really wrong so I looked up their prices online and a 12 oz was only suppose to be $5... she really overcharged me. I will not be coming back to Pink Owl. read more

Great coffee! Got the vanilla lavender latte and creamy Carmel cold brew. The guy taking my order was very thorough and the overall coffee shop is cute! There is outdoor seating and cute seating area in the back room. They had conversation starter cards they were a lot of fun. Great addition to the Petaluma coffee/tea offerings. This is the second Pink Owl I've been to. The other one is in San Rafael and is a frequent weekend spot to stop for caffeine. The vibe in the Petaluma shop is very chill, relaxing, casual, and inclusive. A great way to start your weekend off on a high note. Drinks traditional or made to order are no problem, all are good. They've been in their current location about 1.5 years. For food they have breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, yogurt, Mochi Muffins from Third Culture Bakery and very large muffins such as banana, chocolate chip. Seating, books, games are all fun and eclectic. Lots of plants and outlets for charging. Definitely worth a look see. read more

Did a door dash delivery this morning. Ordered a sausage and egg burrito and an almond milk toasty hazelnut mocha. The burrito tasted kinda off. I don't know if the sausage was off or what but it smells weird and tastes weird. I am very picky with what I eat so maybe it's just me but unfortunately I ate a couple bites and threw it away. My favorite coffee shop! The vanilla lavender oat milk latte is amazing, I order it iced and less sweet. Their unsweetened chai latte is also very good, as well as the seasonal offerings like the toasty hazelnut mocha. I love that they're not sickening sweet like Starbucks. I've never had a bad drink here. And I love that you can order online or through the app and your drink is ready when you arrive! Huge time saver when I have my kids in the car. read more

This place has great coffee and a great cause however the vibe is odd. Petaluma coffee shops have something against coziness. Even in the back room that has a space heater is freezing because they keep the door open for long periods of time and insist on having two massive fans at full blast all the time which is not only chilly but also distracting. I ordered a simple Americano. It was delivered at what could only be described as Thermo-nuclear hot. With the sleeve on I was able to switch hands on the way to my car without spontaneously combusting. I let it cool in my cup holder all the way to Novato before attempting a sip. As I picked up the cup the lid came off and it spilled burning my hand and lap. The cup failed at the seam from a complete dissolving of the wax seam. So here's a tip for the Barista, adjust the machine,use common sense, check your work, and don't hurt people. The remaining 2 oz left in the cup was good, so there's that. read more

I am absolutely in love with this place! I have been dying for a place like this to open in Petaluma. The coffee is amazing. My go to is the cold brew with lavender. It's so fresh and NEVER has a burnt or overly sweet taste. It's just right. I've had their mochi donuts and have loved every single one. If you haven't tried them, you have to. The Thai wrap is good and the pesto egg sandwich is a go to for me. I recently got beans from them and the girls working told me how they roast their own beans and know the farmers who grow them!! Trust me, you can taste the quality and love. Lastly, and I don't want to tell you this because I want to keep it for myself, but there is the cutest sitting nook in the back where I find myself on most Fridays because I find that working from home can get to be a bit much. To top it all off, Nicole and Maddy are excellent batistas! They are kind and are genuine! I'm telling you, this place is perfect and just right for me. Call me Goldilocks. read more
