Southern food and Southern hospitality in downtown Adairsville! This is the "Cheers" of restaurants! The servers make you feel like family that is home for the holidays or a friend invited for dinner. Check out the menus posted and just know that whatever you order is going to be great! The decor is mismatched (just like my granny's kitchen/dining room and it is the best feeling ever. Seriously! If you are going through Adairsville, don't waste your time at what's offered off I-75, Google Pinkard's and enjoy. Warning: not for snobby Yankees, Yuppies, or that kind of folks!

Grab any seat at the counter!

Only a couple of miles off the interstate and worth the drive. Local diner. Very friendly staff. Food was delicious. I had the Salsberry steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, and fried squash. Of course I had to add some corn bread as well. Make sure to say hi to Jim and James!

Menu also have a board of daily specials

This place is very new and off to a good start! They have a small menu and limited hours but what they are service my up is pretty darn good. With an assortment of hamburger and hot dogs for lunch we went with one of the daily specials. The pulled pork is very good not very Smokey so not sure how it was prepared but it has a light mustard base in the meat which is pretty good. Very flavorful and there regular bbq sauce is good not hot at all. The fries are typical and the Brunswick stew is very good with a little heat. Try it out the owner is super nice and the place is a great quick place to grab lunch

It seems to be a local stop, which says a lot. This was small and packed but it gives you the hometown feel. The food was amazing. I tried the buffalo chicken soup and grilled cheese (it was on the "todays Special's"). Great place to stop for a quick eat and the atmosphere is appealing!

On this sunny Tuesday I arrived about 5:30PM to find half the parking lot blocked off and reserved…read morefor bikers and live music setting up on the outside patio for an obviously planned gathering. I sat inside where there was table, bar, and highboy seating. I ordered the Smoked & Fried Wings buffalo, with upcharge for flats/drums and an extra sauce (one Ranch and one Bleu Cheese). And the Shorty Johnson, which is a pair of deep fried back-wrapped beef dogs with a side of fries. The wings were scrawny without much meat. But the flavors were great and the smokiness came through. And the buffalo seasoning was nice and the flats were tender. The Blue cheese dipping sauce was chunky and had a good flavor. The Ranch dipping sauce was boring and did not have the punchy flavor of a hand made dressing. The carrot and celery were adequate. The hot dog was properly cooked and drained and the bacon wrapping had a good texture. But there was no bacon flavor, although the flavor of the dog itself was good. The bun was dry and flavorless. The side of fries were cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned and a good portion. Service was barely adequate. They delivered the wings but did not provide any napkins and I had to wait for them to pass by and get their attention to request them. My drink refill was also a bit slow in coming.

After church on Sunday six of us came by to try this Mom and Pop restaurant. If you read any of my…read morereviews you know I like to go to locally owned restaurants where the owner is there and has a skin in the game. So's no different here. There's a couple that owns it or their heart and soul into this restaurant. Most of us opted for the Sunday lunch, chicken and waffles. The tenders were hand breaded very tasty. Good crunch. I really enjoyed the tenders. The hot honey sauce I had on the side and it was excellent. I also got some regular syrup for my waffle which was very good. The six of us four of us got the chicken waffles. Also the french fries were very good. So if you're coming visiting the area, stop by .? Come out and support these people. We will.

Y'all ever heard of that song by Billy Currington called Good Directions? Well this is that exact…read moresame kind of little small town restaurant atmosphere like in that song. You walk into the front door like you're walking into your family's home on Thanksgiving, such a good feeling of warmth and love and togetherness. Excited yet? I haven't even talked about the food so far! Whether you're looking for a great salad, a huge and tasty sandwich, a hotdog (or DOUBLE HOT DOG) with everything like chili, cheese, onions, slaw...or maybe you're feeling like a BBQ slider? How about a chicken bacon ranch wrap? Maybe some coconut cake made fresh in the kitchen, or carrot cake? Well you found the perfect spot! Everything here is delicious and portioned for big eaters like me and my buddies. Heck even the potato salad was good, and lookee here, I'm a mustard potato salad guy and even though it didn't have mustard I still liked it! There's a great little table area off to the side, and a little antique store in the other. This place is cleaner than my barracks in the Marines, you could eat off the floor. As for the proprietors, there are none better than the ladies at this place. Caron, Cynthia, Cathy and Mama Jean are absolute dolls! The most warm and friendly (and funny) ladies you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting! Easy to find even without good directions! Location is perfect right off 41 south of Adairsville, ya can't miss it there's a dang rocket ship in the parking lot! Y'all get on over there and gitcha some good chow, and don't forget to say hello to Mama Jean and the 3 C Notes (love you ladies!) ...and don't forget to get yer sweet tea!

The first thing we noticed when we walked in is how clean the restaurant is. It has a southern charm type decor. There is a small dining room on one side and small country store on the right with various items to purchase. The restaurant is owned and operated by 3 sisters. You are personally greeted by the sisters when you step up to the counter to place your order. They are clearly proud of their food as they should be. They answer all your questions with great patience and make you feel like part of the family. The menu is primarily sandwhich type items but they do have soup and salads and some BBQ. My wife had chicken salad with vegetable soup. My daughter had a BLT and I had a turkey pesto sandwhich. The portions are much larger than you get at chain restaurants. The ingredients are obviously fresh and homemade. The bread was nicely toasted. Sandwiches came with ridged chips and a pickle. Everyone commented on how wonderful their food was. We ended our meal with an enormous slice of homemade strawberry cake to go as well as homemade cookies. The cookies and cake were made fresh that morning and you could taste the difference. If you grew up in the South with a cake baking grandma, you can probably appreciate just how good the strawberry cake was. If not, get by Mama Jeans and get a fresh piece of cake. I asked about the cake. The sisters told me they make a fresh one and serve it until it's done then make another one rotating through flavors like coconut, mounds, yellow cake with fudge icing, etc. so good. If you are in the area, stop by. You won't be disappointed.
