We looked forward to going and sitting outside in the courtyard with the pretty outside lights, but they rented a jumpy house for kids, so families with a lot of kids were there running around, squealing and jumping, so we had to eat inside. That wasn't much better because it's an old house that's been turned into a restaurant, so it had an awful musty smell. I ordered blackened Grouper, but it was not blackened, only grilled, and it tasted like a frozen fillet. My husband ordered prime rib and it was maybe a step above a Waffle House steak. None of it was worth $100 for dinner. It seems like this restaurant is mostly finger foods, comparable to Applebee's or Chili's, that is frozen and microwaved. The server was also very slow, and was absent for long periods of time between our requests and/or checking on us. I do not recommend, and won't be returning. read more

Friday night we called and made reservations for 6 at 6:30 and was told no problem. We did arrive a few minutes early and we're seated on time. That was the end of positive experiences. We were told there was a large group in the restaurant plus they had booked all the outside area for a reunion party and because of this we should expect a long wait for meals. Let's start we asked for lemonade but they had run out. We ordered 2 appetizers which we're good. But the server just dropped a stack of plates on the table and we passed they around mine was dirty, see photos.The server came back but I never got another plate. Ordering.... We asked for a Philly cheese steak but they had run out ok how about their burger but no they were out, ok chicken with baked potato, sorry they were out of potatoes too....... After 20 minutes the food came out but not the whole table at the same time. Four came 2 had to wait. Other items were ok except my chicken livers that on the menu you can have lightly fried or well fried, I asked for lightly got over fried. Drink refills were sparse, we finished and didn't order dessert. For a hometown place that strives to be upscale I wasn't impressed. BLUF: I'd like to give it 5 stars, but it wasn't quite perfect. Cute ambiance inside. They play music with a real turntable and vinyl. Bar looks very cozy and has a GREAT selection of bourbon. I wasn't drinking today, so I don't know what those prices are. There is an outdoor area that was not in use today but look very nice. Food was excellent and fairly priced. Everything we had was greatly enjoyed. Service was relatively quick, but here was the slight downfall. When our desert was brought to the table, our utensils had been cleared and none were brought. We asked for spoons, which did not show up until we asked a second time. Excepting this relatively minor issue, everything was exceptional. Will return when in the area. read more

The service was good and the ambience was nice, a cute place for sure! It was very busy on a Saturday night so I was hopeful for the food being good. I was definitely not impressed by the tastes, I would probably relate it to an apple bees. It wasn't bad by any means, I just was not impressed by the taste of the food. There were a lot of different options of foods to get and the drinks looked good with live music at the bar! They've changed location and it can be hard to find. They are now at the intersection of Main St (Old US 41) & Public Sq. At that corner is little white church, and at the end of the church's parking lot is a house obscured by trees and shrubs, and that is the home of this restaurant. Upon entry I was greeted and seated promptly. My friendly server was attentive throughout my visit and I had no trouble getting refills. As a starter I had the pretzel bites. Although they advertised beer cheese I didn't find the flavor any different than an ordinary cheddar dip. The pretzels were nice but the plate had a strange oil or water sheen which I think was sprayed to make the salt stick to the pretzels. Despite the strangeness, the flavors and textures were good. For my entree I had the seasonal special with the long name of "Hot & Dirty Pimp'n Chicken Sandwich." It was a plump fried chicken breast, with a generous helping of house made pimento cheese and topped with bacon, sweet chili sauce and jalapenos. I knew those ingredients meant it'd be a bit messy, but the bun soaked up all that moisture and it quickly began to disintegrate. The flavor and ingredients were good, although the coating sloughed off the chicken. My side was the crinkle fries and they were nicely seasoned. read more

Stopped by a new place in Adairsville . The service was fast and friendly (great job Sydney!). Ambiance was low key and not too loud a far cry from city places. The food was good especially the french dip although the fries were salted too much so have to dock a star but all in all we enjoyed our lunch and we recommend it for the many different items offered on the menu. read more

So, haven't updated this in awhile but this place has become our go to for business lunch. My boss and I hit it at least once a week. I will grab a salmon sandwich with onion rings every now and then, but most of the time I am grabbing an off menu salad and dressing. They just bring it to me but I believe it is called the green goddess with bee sting dressing. Top that with a blackened piece of salmon and it is just perfect. The owners (a lovely young couple) have become very engaged and will check on us and everyone else in the place pretty regularly. The rest of the staff is pretty locked on. They have some great whiskies to include my favorite (Michter's) but I am always on the clock. I don't live in the area so I haven't tried for dinner but love it for lunch. OMG I should have taken pictures but the food was outstanding! This was our second visit and boy it didn't disappoint! This restaurant is in a new location from the last time I visited and wow ! They now have large beautiful windows that are just wonderful. The astectic is so nice and the staff attentive. Now the food. everything was fresh, hot and well executed I had the shrimp poboy and my Beautiful partner had the French dip . I had the baked panko Mac and cheese and she upgraded to the parmesan fries. Both excellent!! The price was comparable at most places . We will be back often! read more

Wow! What a great find! Our server was super friendly and helpful. She recommended the fried pecans pie to my husband and he loved it. I had the bourbon bacon glazed Brussel sprouts, heaven! It's a little hard to find so I added a picture of the front. The picture we had on Yelp must have been their previous location. The dining room is bright, airy and features an eclectic collection of tables and chairs. The outdoor dining area was equally ascharming. We enjoyed our visit so much we may plan to stop on our way back to Florida. read more

Great friendly service with a smile. Love the baked parmesan jalapeño oysters! The prime rib was cooked to perfection delivered hot and juicy. The macaroni & cheese was top shelf second to none. We are just passing through so we wouldn't return regardless, the pretzel bites are awesome, the salad had way too many stems, the waitress told me after the fact that I could have ordered Iceberg lettuce? Didn't offer to fix it. The Prime Rib would have been good except the cup with the horseradish was on top of the meat and spilled all over it, I had told her no horseradish? Didn't offer to fix it? The French fries had so much salt I couldn't eat them? Didn't offer to fix it? The green beans had so much salt my wife could not eat them? Didn't offer to fix it? $90 for a meal we couldn't eat? We received a warm welcome from Haley when we walked in. Our first impression was a good one. The decorations were very tasteful and made you feel at home. It wasn't busy, because of the time we ate, but I can see how the atmosphere would be fun. Haley not only seated is, but serves us as well. She was very knowledgeable on the menu, informing us about the specials, answering all questions we had. We ordered the pineapple burger with habanero sauce and found it to be very pleasant. We went tonight to the new location. We have been to the old location once before, also. Food both times was great, cocktails were good, service was a bit slow, but the ambience was horrible. The decorations, with the light fixtures and the colors are good, but there's no softness to deaden the sound, it was just way too loud for dinner. talk. Tables were not arranged well, if they had been they could've fit more 2 person tables in the dining room. There were only 2 tables for 2 People. The tables and chairs were wood and mismatched which made it feel like a cafeteria, with no softness, thus the overwhelming noise of people talking, chairs scraping, etc. not conducive to a couple wanting to go out for dinner, unfortunately. read more

I stumbled across this gem while visiting Buc-ee's in Adairsville. Not being familiar with the area, I used Yelp to find a restaurant. I ordered the fried catfish sandwich which was hands-down one of the best I've ever had! It was perfectly seasoned and fried crisp but it still remained flaky and moist. I could tell that it was a quality piece of catfish from the taste. The portion size was very generous so I could only eat half the sandwich (just as delicious as leftovers). I'm a dessert person so I'm very selective about my choices. The waitress recommended the fried pecan pie, and it did not disappoint! It was beyond delicious but it wasn't overly sweet. The service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is quaint and welcoming. The prices were a nice welcome from the overpriced food in Atlanta! I will definitely make a return trip to The Water Tower Grill because it's worth the drive from Atlanta! read more

I wasn't satisfied with this place or its food and my sorry tip showed it, yes. I still left a tip. I usually don't. There were only about three tables occupied when we were seated. When I Entered at 4:30 P.M, order was taken around 4:50P.M. The entire staff seem to be in a chaotic mess and stayed that way. I ordered the 5 o'clock prime rib. She returned and said I would have to wait till 5:30. I did not expect to be there at 5:30P.M So I ordered a burger and fries. When 5:30 came around I asked if I could change my order back to the prime rib was told NO they had already cooked my burger and it would be out soon. I didn't get my food until about 5:45. So, yea if I had stuck with my prime rib order I would have had the prime rib. This was going to be the third time I had eaten prime rib here and was hoping this piece would make up for the last couple times where it was very dry and tuff. Last night I called to inquire about their delivery distance and was politely told it is 15 miles at this time. 15 (!) miles! That is wonderful and great customer service. I proceeded to order the WTG burger with cheese and bacon (offered by Holly to upgrade the burger, nice!) with fried okra, over easy burger with cole slaw, 8 piece grilled chicken tender meal (offered grilled or fried) with fries (doubled the order of fries for us, score!), a jalapeño app, pork skin app, and another burger with cheese, bacon and sauces. It was all served still very warm, delicious and large portions. The driver was prompt, courteous, and kind. Our meals were very well priced and we look forward to going in for sit down service when the virus is over. We have since ordered several times and have been excited for the yummy food.
