WORST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER. I am incredibly disappointed with the service that we received at this location. I came in with my grandmother, expecting a peaceful, easy visit, but instead we were met with a terrible attitude from a young male employee. He was VERY impatient, dismissive, and lacked basic communication with her. What makes this even worse is that there was a group of girls right in front us in line, and the staff treated them completely fine. But the second my grandmother and I stepped up, the energy completely changed. To top it off, they were running out of chocolate. The employee pretended he was going to the back to get a new batch, but he didn't actually bring anything out. Instead, he just scraped the tiny bit of leftover chocolate that was remaining inside the container. He also walked away to the back right in the middle of our order without saying a word to notify us that he was checking stock. There is absolutely no reason to treat paying customers ESPECIALLY an elderly woman with that kind of disrespect and laziness while treating others nicely. Management seriously needs to retrain their staff on basic customer service. Come to this Pinkberry at your own risk. read more

Food: Pinkberry as a chain has a good, consistent soft serve frozen yogurt. They have a good variety of flavors and the toppings are fresh and quality. The serving sizes are good and priced accordingly. We had the standard tart with toppings and I tried a strawberry-banana Yogurt Smoothie. Both were tasty and good and I am a new fan of the smoothies. Service: The day we went we had great service and it was fast/efficient even though there was only one person managing the counter. I felt genuinely unwelcome and uncomfortable due to the staff's behavior today. There were two men behind the counter, and neither of them greeted us or offered even a basic acknowledgment, which immediately made me feel ignored and unimportant. When we asked for a peach flavor tasting, one of the men handed it to my son without saying a word, creating an awkward and tense atmosphere. Their demeanor came across as cold and irritated, which made me feel uneasy enough to ask, "Are you mad at us?" Instead of addressing my concern or responding with any professionalism, one of them curtly replied, "Is that all?"--a response that left me feeling dismissed and disappointed by the lack of basic courtesy and customer care. read more

Pinkberry is great and sadly, I never see a lot of people here. Flavors are really, really good...even the classic tart and I'm a chocolate guy! I believe the tart is what put them on the map. Speaking of chocolate, their chocolate and chocolate hazelnut are really really good too. Even the pomegranate is really, really good, too...a little tart with good sweetness, somewhat subtle but oddly addicting. Good topping choice and they even offer a Dubai Chocolate Combo thing that looks and sounds amazing but I haven't ordered it yet. Good thing I didn't tell the kids...yet. Service is always good and they even provide you with ice for the ride home...I don't know any other Froyo place that does that. This Pinkberry is one of those businesses that has been around forever. This Pinkberry has been a staple on the corner of Hawthorne and Torrance Boulevard for a long-long time. As such, it has been the go to place to go and grab your frozen yogurt style desserts whenever you're in the mood. Overall, this Pinkberry has done its job very well. It's open the usual hours, and you pretty much know what to expect. It offers all the stuff that Pinberry is known for. In terms of seating, they don't have a lot of it. They have a couple seats inside. Plus, they have a couple of outside tables. One of the things that I've always noticed about this Pinkberry is that they don't keep their outside tables very clean. I truly doubt that anybody actually walks outside and frequently or periodically wipes them down, because they're always at least somewhat noticeably dirty. I really think they should take this into consideration and actually clean their space a little bit better. The leads me to something I noticed the last time I came to this Pinkberry. Their health department grade dropped to a B. That's not good! That means that they're not keeping their facility very clean inside. Which means, you've gotta be a little concerned about what you're eating from this location. At least I am. I'm not stating anything that isn't displayed on their window. You can see the B anytime you go there. I don't know, it just makes me question a food-service business when they can't keep their health department rating up at the level of an A. But, if you want what Pinkberry has to offer, this is the place to go in Torrance. read more

The good: I tried a small spiced cider frozen yogurt and chocolate hazelnut. The latter is a favorite of mine that I've tried at their other locations but the cider is a new seasonal flavor. The crunchy chocolate balls in chocolate paste is my favorite topping of theirs. This is my favorite chain of froyo because I think the quality of their froyo is superior. It tends to be less watery and more creamy. The flavors taste and look less artificial. They had fun Halloween decorations inside when I came today. There's a water fountain outside with a rim that you can sit on to enjoy your ice cream. There's plenty of parking. The bad: I wanted the suggested apple pie topper for the cider froyo but they ran out. Unlike other froyo spots, you're limited to 4 toppings for the additional price of $1. My husband doesn't like how this place doesn't allow you to self serve with the yogurt and toppings but I personally don't mind that. They accidentally put the order of the person after us in with our order. The interior was a little bit worn down in some areas. I wish they had a pumpkin related fall flavor as well. Pinkberry serves my all time favorite cold dessert. I always get the side by side original and pomegranate frozen yogurt. I love the chocolaty balls and pomegranate concentrate on the Pom side. Some times I get mochi or the bubble tea fruit balls(not sure I'm calling them the right thing, but they are delicious). Pink Berry has an array of topping choices. It's fun and some times difficult to make up your mind. They usually have 5 to 6 choices of yogurt flavors and you are allowed to taste the flavors while trying to figure out what you like. There's always a new flavor added for some special holiday or a new season. They also have a dairy free choice of yogurt, so there is something for everyone. Oh and I almost forgot they also have shakes or smoothies. I can't remember because I don't get them, but my son loves them. The service varies. It really depends on the server on whether or not they are going to be happy to serve you. For the most part the servers have been really nice. There are a few that are nicer than others, and that's any where you go. Usually the store front is clean. Some times there may be a dirty table if somebody left recently, but the restaurant and bathroom is clean and inviting. You may also ask for a bag of ice if you have a long commute to your next place before you get to dig into your yogurt. I used to looooove Pinkberry! I'm not sure what happened?! This last time I went the yogurt wasn't the best. It didn't taste as fresh as it used to. My go-to yogurt is the chocolate hazelnut. My toppings are pretty basic, I add granola and Nutella. The granola tasted a bit stale as well. Luckily, I only got a small, so not a whole lot of money was wasted. But it was just very disappointing because I was craving it and it didn't satisfy me at all. The staff was nice and the inside seemed to look ok. This was the first time I've been to Pinkberry in many years. Came here this past Saturday around 4pm, and was a little taken back by the unprofessional service. One of the young female employees was dressed in a midriff top with an apathetic attitude to match. Unenthused and seemed like she could care less. There arent that many more Pink Berry's left in Orange County, so whenever I'm in the Torrance area, I try to stop by this location. Its a small location in a parking lot Panda next door and some other restaurants. There isnt much seating inside, but the also have a few outdoor tables. Its always crowded whenever I come, so one time I even had to eat in my car. You order at the counter and they let you sample some of their flavors. I usually know what I like, but if they have special flavors, Ill give them a try. This time around I went with the original (tart), pomegranate, and mango. The tart is my favorite, but I was really feeling the pomegranate since it wasnt overly sweet, still slightly tart, and the fruit flavor still came through. You can also get fruit or any other toppings on top. Its not like Yogurtland where you pay per ounce and instead its all one price.
