I used to live near Wilson Park, and went here, Starbucks, and Lee's Sandwiches quite often. The drinks I've gotten over the years include: jasmine matcha, rose matcha, and tiger milk tea and others. Everything except the matcha is decent, the matcha is super bitter and not in a good way :/ the jasmine matcha was nearly undrinkable since the jasmine was pretty bitter too. The rose matcha was actually kind of good, because the rose tea was very sweet, so it balanced out. This is one of those boba places that has a million things on the menu, so they can't really specialize in just boba. Here they have smoothies, shakes, slushes, frappes, coffee, macarons, cake in addition to tea. I do still go here occasionally since it's a chain, and as I said, most of the drinks are decent. read more

It's Boba Time is in the same plaza as my LO's dance studio and we always end up parking in front of it and we're always seeing toms of people going in. My LO has been asking me to take her there and today I finally decided to check it out. I was able to download the app and get a 20% discount for my first order. I ordered online and the drinks were ready when we were there. You need to tell them your order number because they store your competed drinks in the refrigerator and won't know you're there unless you tell them. Again the place was busy and the girls working there looked busy. My LO is in a cookies and cream phase so she got the small cookies and cream shake with boba. She did enjoy it. 100% sweet. I got the Dubai chocolate drink and it's only offered in the large size. I enjoyed it though the pistachio bits was a bit too much for me. The chocolate bars were super sweet. I am glad I ordered it but not too sure I would order again. 100% sweet. We ordered the peach mango slush got my mom. Low sweetness. It was good and refreshing Seems like for the drinks we ordered you could only pick two levels of sweetness which is different from other places. I think I would be returning in the summer when it's hot since we'll be in the area. I'm not sure I would drive out of my way to come here though. read more

My sister and I were wanting boba after an errand and It's Boba Time was close in proximity. Located in a strip mall on the Northeast corner of Crenshaw and Sepulveda. Plenty of parking on a Sunday late afternoon. There is a kiosk to place your order, however, my sister had a question, so we waited for someone to come greet us. I LOVE the new trendy combinations you can get in Boba Time. Today I ordered the Matcha Einspänner which is basically a matcha latte with oat milk and topped with whip cream which took me straight to heaven. Delicious combination, loved the creamy taste that just melts in your mouth. Perfectly sweet to my taste. It seemed like the drink had more cream than matcha, but still LOVED it. I just wished there were more sizing options for this specific boba. Atmosphere is chill, would be nice to see more seating areas. Service was great, drinks came so quick. Visited this place for the first two times as my son wanted it on his birthday weekend. No wait the first time. He got a strawberry milk tea with boba and enjoyed it. Second visit, it was a little more crowded. We stood at the counter to order in person but nobody came to help us. I noticed a family use the kiosk, so we got in line behind them. When it was our turn, I saw a family that just came in getting helped in person at the counter (that was annoying), so we went back to get in line behind them as my wife's drink order was a little complicated, and it seemed like ordering three drinks would be quicker in person than on the kiosk. This time my son got a mango milk tea with strawberry popping pearls, but he hated the mango milk tea. We were almost home when I had to turn around to go back and order him something else (just this one time because, you know, birthday). I got myself an acai smoothie. Tasted exactly like the smoothie I get at the Costco food court. Extra star (and $1 tipped on our first visit) because they're courteous enough to skip right by the Tip screen when you're checking out. The good: It is always time for boba! tried the Thai tea Oreo drink. They had açaí bowls, crepe cakes, macarons, and smoothies. They had a self-order kiosk. Our drink was made super quickly. They had a standing bar height counter area. I was able to adjust the sweetness and ice on my drink. The drink had an Oreo cream smear inside the cup and then was filled with the drink. I got a hazelnut and chocolate macaron (2 different flavors) for over $2 each. The most interesting flavored macaron they had was peppermint. They have a lot of non-caffeinated drink options as well. The bad: There was no indoor nor outdoor seating. The interesting: They're a franchise. They have gift cards online. The interior had vaulted ceilings and an industrial feel (brick wall, metal lamps, and cement floors). We've been going to this boba time since it's opened and we love it. The drinks are always good and service is pretty fast unless it's super busy. There's times when we waited 20 mins for our drinks especially during summer break, but most times they're fast. I always get the same drinks. The iced green tea with foam, black tea with foam, iced green tea or the iced black tea. Once in a while I'll get the green or black with lychee jelly. Don't do no sugar unless you like your tea really bitter! My kids love the cookies and cream milkshake or fruit smoothies. The tea was fine, loved the custard but the boba was a little too chewy for me and I had to really slow down and take a few more bytes than normal, this is probably better for my digestion anyway, ha ha. I was a little pleasantly surprised that even though I forgot to ask for less sweet, it wasn't too sweet like other places. I used to order the fruit shaved ice a lot, it's a great dessert drink with combination of fresh fruits such as mango, kiwi, strawberry, etc, plus flavored shaved ice and varieties of boba. We were looking for a close by boba place and this place popped up. It seemed pretty busy already, but we didn't wait long to place our orders. I got jasmine tea with boba and popping mango boba. Excellent and refreshing! Mango paired really well with the tea. My friends got: strawberry matcha bubble tea, Thai tea, and taro. Delicious! The only complaint I had was that you couldn't choose sweetness levels and the ice seemed a bit too large. We didn't wait too long for our order. Maybe about 5 minutes? This branch is located in a decent location, very close to Wilson park, so always appears busy. Parking is not an issue and there are plenty of shops around including a Starbucks. The menu is the standard Boba time menu, however their standard menu has several options as you would know by now if you have been visiting boba time. The service is quick and the taste and quality of the boba teas they make are pretty good. My daughter felt like the one she had has less sweetness even though we didn't ask for reducing the sweetness level, we went and asked them and they happily replaced it. As I said before there is always decent crowd in this place, but you can place the order and wait outside, they have speaker outside the shop and you would know when its your turn to pick it up. read more

Most regular size milk bobas are $4.75. Add 0.75 for a large. You get Boba complimentary in any milk tea or iced tea. Vegan milk options: almond, soy, oat. I got the classic milk tea with soy milk and 25% sweet. And I really enjoyed it! There were a lot of Boba balls!! I didn't want that many tbh lol.
