    Mango lemonade, small cup
    Sandra K.

We came in on a Sunday at 7pm and there was a line, but it moved quickly. I ordered a small mango lemonade frozen yogurt with no toppings. It was refreshing and fragrant, but I couldn't finish it myself. The tables had dirty smudges on them and the chairs were scattered around. The shop was not as cold as I had anticipated.

4.5 I went to Pinkberry with my family for a cold treat after dinner. It's located in a shopping center and there's plenty of parking around there. I walked in and there was a wall menu to look at. There was a woman at the front ready to take our order. She was very kind and gave me time to decide what I wanted. I chose to try the original vanilla with cookie dough bites and strawberry slices as my toppings. It was really good for frozen yogurt. The original vanilla stated that it was sweet and tart. After a few bites I got used to the tartness and enjoyed the combination of flavors that burst into my mouth. This frozen yogurt shop is a little small but has tables and chairs to sit and enjoy this cold treat.

Maybe a mopped donut way here once?

Might be the dirtiest place I've been in while in austin. I've been to cleaner bars than this. It might have been mopped the day it opened and then never again. The employees could not be ruder. "You want Anything else" is apparently how you ask if there are anymore toppings desired. The elderly gentlemen behind was having a shred time hearing, to which the young man thought was funny. The young lady never even looked up. Suddenly another young man appeared who unbelievably was ruder than the other. Somebody ran through, who was presumably a manager. Not a thought to the overflowing trash can, dirty counters, floors or windows. I know it's yoghurt but it's time to care about customer service again.

Tasty flavors and a clean space but this place is not self serve and the flavors are pretty limited!!! It's $4 for a small and 1.75 for additional toppings and I think the toppings are limitless although we only got 2 so I'm not sure? The worker was kind and let us try flavors.

Yum! This is one of our favorite frozen yogurt places around, because it's yummy (number 1) , close and convenient and the staff is always great. Thanks for the yummies.

Finally! There is a Pinkberry in Austin. Austin always seems the last to get the best of everything! But this location is nicely tucked away in Westlake. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. The line moves quickly and the variety is good. The toppings are all fresh. It is a great stop after a hot day. Love it, so tasty. The flavors change seasonally, so if there is something that you find that you like you should, get it as often as possible. I love the mochi, it's my favorite thing that they have there.

If you get stuff "to-go" they give you a nice bag with ice. This is cool customer service. I admit this photo is weird.

Okay, here's what's fun for me at Pinkberry: It doesn't matter which bright and cheery young person I'm working with - you'll know what I mean when you get there - I just ask them to make me something they would order, and they're always delighted to do so. I've never had the same thing twice, and I've had some interesting combinations I wouldn't have thought of before. Another way of viewing this is I can be pretty lazy, but we're talking froyo here, not world peace. Whatevs. I've also never had froyo quite like Pinkberry's - as in, "This stuff tastes like genuine live-culture yogurt." There's a tart factor in some flavors that may surprise you, so you should probably sample stuff before committing. You can always temper tartness with fresh fruit and toppings. And speaking of savory, I've had a combination here that tasted exactly like a Caprese salad. I thought that was cool and different. It's not self-serve, and it's not the cheapest stuff either - I usually get the small size of whatever they're making for me, and it's always been $4.87. You can save a buck by going with a small cone instead of a cup, which gets you a little less product. But seriously, if you're racking up a $10 charge at the typical 43-cents per ounce venue, you should seriously consider bringing your goo quota down a notch. Pinkberry is apparently a nationwide chain, this one in Westlake is the first in Austin, and it's a happy place with a clever phone app/loyalty program. There's no way they won't succeed here, and it's not just because of their hip and cool factor - it's because their stuff is good. That's why people will come.

Peach with cinnamon honey sauce and something else...

Pinkberry isn't self serve. OH! oh. oh that sucks. It actually turned out ok, and I've been here 3 times in the last week. That's a little ridiculous. I love their original flavor. It tastes so fresh, and unique, and delicious with a slight bitterness but a sweet finish. The texture is much creamier compared to Froyoyo. But don't worry, Froyoyo is still near and dear to my heart. The small original happens to have 150 calories, and tastes phenomenal with blueberries, and is bigger than I would expect. Yeah, I'm one of those people. For the record, chocolate hazelnut is a chocolately smooth adventure of amazing. Also the peach flavor with the cinnamon honey syrup is delightful. The people working here are great. Everyone is always so happy to give me samples, which is something I was hesitant about because it's not self serve. I really don't know whether I prefer Pinkberry or Froyoyo... I suppose my check ins will tell over time...

The three of us each grabbed three flavors (F, E, D--haha, funny, right?) and rated each one with sugary zeal. Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint (F, E) - delicious, subtly minty, with a very creamy, mild beet flavor. I never had such a refreshing ice cream that wasn't sorbet. The mint really made a difference. I'm a huge fan of places that curate exotic flavors (a vegetable, really?) into their menu, which only increased my opinion of this place. Hill Country Honey & Vanilla Bean (E) - one of the smoothest vanilla bean ice creams I've had. It reminds me of a traditional ice milk soft serve. It wasn't the most impressive vanilla ice cream I've ever had, but it was still very good in its own right. Dark Chocolate, Olive Oil & Sea Salt (E, D) - such a great balance to the sweetness of the rest of the ice cream options. I always love little chunks of salt in sweets to cut through the sugary intensity, so this one was an instant favorite. GOAT Cheese, Thyme, and Honey (E, D) - a complete 100% hit. Probably my top, alongside the beets. My BFF said it tasted too much like a meal rather than a dessert and couldn't give it a high rating, but as a charcuterie fan, I know there are plenty of "dessert" cheeses. I mean... cream cheese, for example? But is that really a cheese...? Uhhh. Very Strawberry (F) - a clean strawberry flavor. A bit artificial, but still so great. It far outweighed the Sweet Cream w. Strawberry flavor we tasted later. Cookies & Cream (F) - I never liked cookies & cream before, but this changed my mind. It hits so hard when you get a full spoonful. Probably the only cookies & cream I would eat. My BFF's #1. Chocolate Chocolate (F) - love chocolate? Get this. That's all you need to know. Coffee & Cream (D) - oooh, reminds me of the keto coffee ice cream I had once. Would get again. Coffee notes are always great in ice cream. Was this a STRONG standout? No. But did it do its job? Yes. Sweet Cream w. Strawberry (D) - too creamy for me, not enough strawberry. My top flavors by far are: 1) Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint, 2) GOAT Cheese, Thyme, and Honey, and 3) Dark Chocolate, Olive Oil & Sea Salt. All three were unique flavors that I would absolutely get again. We sat on the little barstools watching the line get progressively longer as the night went on. It was really interesting to see how many people came in for a sweet treat at 11 PM. The atmosphere was pleasant, parking was pretty easy, and while it never got too crowded, the place was surprisingly popular.

Quite busy at 8:15PM on a Sunday! About ten people ahead of us and only two people working so it took about 10-15mins with people asking for samples and such. While we were there, it was always a packed line so it definitely gets really busy from 8-9PM! We got three larges for a total of twelve flavors, a little bit of overlap: Mine: Dark Chocolate Olive Oil and Sea Salt - Really liked this, the bitter saltiness offset the creaminess really well. Coffee with Cream - A very light but roasty coffee, like a light coffee. I liked this!; Goat Cheese, Thyme and Honey - The herbal flavor is more subtle than I expected! Not too sweet, liked this one Sweet Cream & Strawberry - this one didn't stand out much to me Others: Roasted Beets and Fresh Mint - I really liked this one! The beets and mint hit on the back of your tongue, yum Chocolate Chocolate - Very intense chocolate, not too crazy about it though Cookies & Cream - Surprisingly good! I liked this one Very Strawberry - way more strawberry than the sweet cream. I'd recommend this over the sweet cream and strawberry Hill Country Honey & Vanilla Bean - Pretty light, a classic. Thought it was okay. If I had a tier list it would be: 1) Coffee with Cream 2) Goat Cheese 3) Dark Chocolate Olive Oil 4) Roasted Beets and Mint 5) Cookies & Cream 6) Very Strawberry 7) Vanilla Bean 8) Chocolate Chocolate 9) Sweet Cream & Strawberry Overall, a few hits, a few misses, but it was a fun tasting experience. We paid via inKind with no issues, which made it a pretty solid value.
