White chocolate mousse *chefs kiss I've tried yogurt planet, yogurt land, other tcby locations too - something about this one just does it right. Couple that with the fact they have proportionally cut bananas to top makes for a great sweet treat.

First time trying TCBY and it did not disappoint! Very tasty! Staff was really friendly and answered all my questions. They had seating so you can sit and enjoy your sweet treat!

Regular waffle cone with half white chocolate mousse and strawberry cheesecake soft serve. Definitely recommend the mousse flavor! Has a small parking lot. There is some seating inside.

Best looking nastiest soft serve I've ever had. Presentation amazing, went through the drive-thru service was good but unfortunately the chocolate soft serve did not taste like chocolate at all! I'm not sure if they use the same machine for all the other flavors or that batch of chocolate was made incorrectly but it didn't taste like chocolate one bit. Waffle cone was good though. Looks definitely are deceiving

The soft serve froyo was great! The price was affordable. I went on froyo day and there was a BOGO deal. Place is small but cute.

Open for drive through only, and honestly, that's kind of a relief. It's nice having an excuse to stay in the car and be a lazy bum. Of course, they do accept walk-up orders if you're without a vehicle, so no sweat for all you valiant pedestrians out there. I'm simple, so all I ever want is the chocolate almond soft serve. Three cheers for having a dairy-free/vegan option! It's light, sweet, creamy, and refreshing, not to mention hella cheap if you go for a small kid's cup. Super fast service and you're on your way again. Very important note though: the drive through lane empties out onto a one-way street going left. DO NOT TURN RIGHT. I repeat, DO NOT TURN RIGHT. Not that I would ever make that mistake in the first place.

Needed a quick ice cream fix and this was closest to me, and it really is the best froyo I've ever had!!!

Honestly I didn't expect their soft serve this good!!! It's so nostalgic for me. A kiddie cup also comes with the perfect size to make up the delusion of being a kid again. The chocolate soft serve was very creamy and chocolatey, not overly sweetened or heavy. I would come to try their other options later. Def recommend!

    Banana split

We got a scoop of chewy brownie yogurt, a scoop of peanut butter delight yogurt, mango, sugar free dark chocolate chips, and hot fudge. We also got the classic whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry on top. It looks like a scrumptious hot mess & everything about it was perfect. The whipped cream was fluffy, the yogurt was creamy, and the banana was perfectly ripe. This banana split HIT the SPOT ‍

Literally can I go wrong with TCBY. Really good service, they were so nice and patient as we were deciding what flavor to get. tAny flavor you get at TCBY will blow you away, I got the sea salt caramel and fudge brownie in a small cup. it's not my first visit and it definitely won't be my last. Even the police love TCBY

Decent soft serve that has nostalgia for me! Got the golden honey cake cone and it satisfied my ice cream cravings. Like many other reviews mentioned, it's always the same guy at the window who isn't outright rude but, just seems annoyed to be existing there. It's honestly a little funny. I suppose I will just take him as part of the experience if I want TCBY. The portion he gave me was generous since I ordered a small.

Stumbled across TCBY while exploring UT Austin on a hot August day. I agree with some other reviews that the vibes inside could be a little better (the interior felt a little outdated and sad). But I see so much potential in this place. While the employee wasn't outrageously friendly, we was kind and patient when we asked to sample several yogurts. The yogurt was amazing and hit the spot. I was a huge fan of the honey Greek yogurt (you can't really find anything like it anywhere else). I added rainbow sprinkles as my topping (which he was very generous with). It was the perfect refreshment to carry us throughout the day. Again, I see the potential. Great yogurt, great location... just needs a little work to transform the vibes from good to great and it will be THE HOT SPOT. I will be coming back again if I'm ever in the area!

Good ice cream and yogurt! I got the strawberry and creams with another scoop of the mint chocolate chip. It was a small size. Mediocre service! Only the drive thru was opened when I went. The employee seemed annoyed to be there.

The three of us each grabbed three flavors (F, E, D--haha, funny, right?) and rated each one with sugary zeal. Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint (F, E) - delicious, subtly minty, with a very creamy, mild beet flavor. I never had such a refreshing ice cream that wasn't sorbet. The mint really made a difference. I'm a huge fan of places that curate exotic flavors (a vegetable, really?) into their menu, which only increased my opinion of this place. Hill Country Honey & Vanilla Bean (E) - one of the smoothest vanilla bean ice creams I've had. It reminds me of a traditional ice milk soft serve. It wasn't the most impressive vanilla ice cream I've ever had, but it was still very good in its own right. Dark Chocolate, Olive Oil & Sea Salt (E, D) - such a great balance to the sweetness of the rest of the ice cream options. I always love little chunks of salt in sweets to cut through the sugary intensity, so this one was an instant favorite. GOAT Cheese, Thyme, and Honey (E, D) - a complete 100% hit. Probably my top, alongside the beets. My BFF said it tasted too much like a meal rather than a dessert and couldn't give it a high rating, but as a charcuterie fan, I know there are plenty of "dessert" cheeses. I mean... cream cheese, for example? But is that really a cheese...? Uhhh. Very Strawberry (F) - a clean strawberry flavor. A bit artificial, but still so great. It far outweighed the Sweet Cream w. Strawberry flavor we tasted later. Cookies & Cream (F) - I never liked cookies & cream before, but this changed my mind. It hits so hard when you get a full spoonful. Probably the only cookies & cream I would eat. My BFF's #1. Chocolate Chocolate (F) - love chocolate? Get this. That's all you need to know. Coffee & Cream (D) - oooh, reminds me of the keto coffee ice cream I had once. Would get again. Coffee notes are always great in ice cream. Was this a STRONG standout? No. But did it do its job? Yes. Sweet Cream w. Strawberry (D) - too creamy for me, not enough strawberry. My top flavors by far are: 1) Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint, 2) GOAT Cheese, Thyme, and Honey, and 3) Dark Chocolate, Olive Oil & Sea Salt. All three were unique flavors that I would absolutely get again. We sat on the little barstools watching the line get progressively longer as the night went on. It was really interesting to see how many people came in for a sweet treat at 11 PM. The atmosphere was pleasant, parking was pretty easy, and while it never got too crowded, the place was surprisingly popular.

Quite busy at 8:15PM on a Sunday! About ten people ahead of us and only two people working so it took about 10-15mins with people asking for samples and such. While we were there, it was always a packed line so it definitely gets really busy from 8-9PM! We got three larges for a total of twelve flavors, a little bit of overlap: Mine: Dark Chocolate Olive Oil and Sea Salt - Really liked this, the bitter saltiness offset the creaminess really well. Coffee with Cream - A very light but roasty coffee, like a light coffee. I liked this!; Goat Cheese, Thyme and Honey - The herbal flavor is more subtle than I expected! Not too sweet, liked this one Sweet Cream & Strawberry - this one didn't stand out much to me Others: Roasted Beets and Fresh Mint - I really liked this one! The beets and mint hit on the back of your tongue, yum Chocolate Chocolate - Very intense chocolate, not too crazy about it though Cookies & Cream - Surprisingly good! I liked this one Very Strawberry - way more strawberry than the sweet cream. I'd recommend this over the sweet cream and strawberry Hill Country Honey & Vanilla Bean - Pretty light, a classic. Thought it was okay. If I had a tier list it would be: 1) Coffee with Cream 2) Goat Cheese 3) Dark Chocolate Olive Oil 4) Roasted Beets and Mint 5) Cookies & Cream 6) Very Strawberry 7) Vanilla Bean 8) Chocolate Chocolate 9) Sweet Cream & Strawberry Overall, a few hits, a few misses, but it was a fun tasting experience. We paid via inKind with no issues, which made it a pretty solid value.

I would NOT eat Amy's under any circumstances. To be clear, I've only been once. Ambience leaves much to be desired, but the ice cream which is the main event does not even taste good. It has about 3 to 4 times as much sugar as it actually needs. In fact, I was physically ill from eating it. Not only does the ice cream itself taste too sugary in the flavors are too cloyingly sweet, but they then want to mix in additional candies and sugar items which blows my mind. I humored them and tried an ice cream with mix ins and was greatly underwhelmed. Everyone who likes Amy's raves about the Mexican vanilla but honestly, that is also way too sweet and tastes like drinking vanilla extract. I can only surmise that there are a lot of folks with unsophisticated palates in Austin, otherwise there would not be so many positive reviews and this place would not be in business. On top of it the whole mixing thing so gimmicky and annoying it just makes the lion go way longer. Anyone who thinks this is great has not ventured out and tried anything else because they're literally 10 other ice cream places that I can think of that are actually great. Looking forward to the day that this place churns to become something else that's actually tasty because it's prime real estate.

Every single bite of this was packed with flavor. They also carve out a bit of the middle to put the condensed milk which makes every bite much more equal than if it was just placed at the top. This was by far one of, if not the best, Italian ices we've ever had. We would very much recommend it to anyone in the Downtown area looking to cool off.
