WOOHOO! I love Pink's!! Since I've moved to Houston (over 2 years ago) I have been on a mission to find a great pizza joint. I really liked Star pizza, but after a couple disappointing experiences, I moved on. Luckily I had the opportunity to order a Pink's pizza while I was at Big Star Bar one Saturday. When I got that piping hot pizza, it was placed in my awaiting hands and I took my first bite...that was it, that was the pizza I had been waiting for! it was a "This Guy", it was chock full of rosemary chicken, prosciutto, chunks of Italian sausage, goat cheese, roasted garlic, spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes. Ever since that experience, I've been wanting more, more, obsessive, yes, justifiable like to think so. Anyway, I had the rocko at the new location on W Gray and was equally delighted to indulge again. (FYI it is BYOB if you do decide to eat there.) read more

Sadly this location is making me lose my taste for Pink's. They still provide great service but for some reason, it just has never tasted as good as the Heights location. read more

There was only one gentleman working there and he did a phenomenal job serving our big group and helping others at the same time. We ordered the supreme, Hawaiian and meat lovers and were very satisfied from the pizzas! read more

Superbowl Sunday, and I just wanted to be in my PJ's fast forwarding to the commercials. The Veggie Gluten Free is just okay. As mentioned before, they only offer it in 12 inch rounds, and it was DRY. The price tag was a bit steep about $25+ for the round, and I wasn't THAT impressed. Veggies were veggies, bell peppers, onion (which wasn't completely cooked) and mushrooms I think. I added basil to it, which gave it a bit more zing, but not a lot of flavor. NEXT! read more

Customer service (Ken) reached out and seemed genuinely interested in fixing any systematic issues. I don't write reviews that often as we can all have a bad day right! But when I go and a place has the same issues a couple of times it's worth pointing out. What they don't hear they don't know. Anyway problem noted and I'll try again thanks to Ken! This is a reluctant three star because I think the pizza quality and taste make it a little higher, but the service and experience makes it a three. I much prefer the Heights location, which I've picked up from a couple times and found pleasant enough, but this is the location I'm told services me so they are the ones I've dealt with most recently. They sent us a pizza the first time with no issue. The second time, I called and was informed that no one services me. I am literally two houses outside of their zoning for the West Grey store in a pocket that Pink's apparently doesn't give a hoot about. I was pretty miffed when I called last time to order a pizza when they insisted they wouldn't deliver to me, since they already had once and I am two houses (seriously, two) away. I finally got a manager who after another five minutes of arguing finally agreed to deliver (with that snarky reminder that I am not in his area), but at that point I realized if I were to receive a pizza from these people, that these shenanigans would probably invite a topping on my pizza I had not asked for. I declined and now I write. Too bad too. The pizza I've received at the Heights location was pretty darn good. I liked the Hawaiian the best. Too bad on them, despite the three minute drive it takes to get to the Heights store (who also won't deliver to me), I won't be back and I will ignore their new store that the above mentioned manager said would be opening on Washington at some point. read more

Wanted pizza for dinner last night and decided to try Pink's Pizza for the first time since I live close by. Ugh. Only two words I can use to describe the pizza I got: very mediocre and very overpriced. I ordered the 16" pizza with three toppings: pepperoni, mushrooms, and jalapeños. What I got was dough with sparse toppings which would slide off upon movement. The tomato sauce was globulous and bland and the few toppings on there could barely stay afloat. I'm sorry but for a specialty pizza place I expect a whole lot more for the $21.00 I spent! Next time I'll hit up Costco and get 2 bigger pizzas for the same price of one at Pink's! read more

I was really hoping I would love Pink's after hearing a friend say it was the best pizza I could ever eat. I had two pizzas and some bread delivered to the Maple Leaf a while ago, and it was awful. For one thing, they were late delivering it (and it was around 2pm!), and the pizza bread was so soggy, it was awful. I think it would have tasted great if it wasn't so soggy, but I couldn't get past the weird texture. The pineapple pieces were not fresh. I personally will never order from them again. Way, way too overpriced for what I received. I'd rather eat Little Ceasar's, it's that bad. Maybe I caught them on an "off-day"... read more

Oh, Pinks. You make me feel so passive-aggressive. I keep ordering, though I don't know why. On paper the pizza's are incredible. Their prices are a little outrageous, though. I tried getting a gluten free pizza with 3 ingredients and to substitute sauce for olive oil. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $25 on a 12' delivery pizza. I ended up getting a pesto and roasted garlic gluten free pizza. The crust isn't bad. But it IS a $5 upcharge. I get it, the ingredients are more expensive. It's still steep for the size. And it's definitely not pretty. Anyway, I'd order again in a pinch. But I'd much rather suck it up and make my own. But we ate it, I mean, hey. It's pizza. You know the joke about how even when it's not that great it's still pretty good.... The online ordering is pretty convenient. And if you don't care about the price and you can get a regular crust pizza (which I've had before experiencing the Great Gluten Belly Incident), do it. . The ingredients are quality and inventive. Have had 2 gluten free pizzas here and neither of them tasted any different or like cardboard. So yay!

It's a toss up between pinks and star pizza! Man oh man! I highly recommend the southwestern pizza with BBQ sauce, chicken, and jalapeños.

Pizza is hand-tossed, and the prices are reasonable. They have non-dairy mozzarella cheese for vegans and gluten-free crust available for $2 more. We ordered the veggie which had onions, bell peppers, fresh sliced tomatoes and instead of olives, we ordered it with roasted red peppers. They have a wide variety of toppings though and a good variety of pre-styled pizza. The veggies are not as cooked as some might prefer. I like mine fresh though. read more

I've only had the Santa Monica pizza and it's incredible. I love the unique combination of flavors from the cranberries, gorgonzola cheese and other toppings. I find it hard to avoid eating the whole pie! But, I always want to save a couple of slices for another day. On a down note, my chicken wing connoisseur Lopez gave a thumbs down to Pink's spicy wings so we won't be getting those again. read more

Normally for the small work gatherings that we have, we've gone with Star Pizza in the past. But I thought I'd suggest Pink's for our latest work soiree and whereas we normally have pizza left over, I didn't even get to go back for a second helping like I normally can. We ordered six large pies for about 20-25 people and those things were gone in about 30 minutes. I think we've found a new pizza place of choice. read more

This was my first visit to a Pink's Pizza. I had looked forward to trying the food based on conversations with friends. MIXED THOUGHTS * The W. Gray location is sparse and bare. I don't like that they only serve bottled drinks, you even have to pay for water because it's only available in a bottle. * I went to the restroom and there were several ( more than 5 less than 10) roaches on the floor.. some dead, some running around. One smashed on the wall, one cruising around on the inside of the toilet because he couldn't get out.. They obviously have an insect problem here.. as do probably most of the restaurants in Houston.... but they really need to realize that people judge their operation based on things like this. If there are roaches in the bathroom where there probably isn't much to eat, I'm SURE the kitchen has quite a bit of roach traffic across countertops and through food when the lights are off. I had some concerns about the safety and cleanliness of the food after seeing all this - while I waited on my food... I'm not at all a bug/germ freak but I do have my limits.. this was really, really close. I also noted that two employees were wearing plastic gloves to handle the food, the only trouble is that they were doing EVERYTHING else in the kitchen too... while wearing those gloves. Opening doors, handling dirty dishes, touching other equipment and just 'wearing gloves'. When it happens like this, the point of wearing the gloves is lost. ( Like the manager of Jack in the Box a few weeks ago that was wearing torn plastic gloves to prepare my order - and take my money, and make change and get my drink... .etc.... What's the point ? - again, we have a training issue.. and common sense too ) I had ordered a single slice of pizza, salad and a bottle of tea. $17.00 For real???? Yep. I got the biggest slice of pizza I've ever seen in my life - served on two adjoining paper plates. Considering the roach issue, I was happy to see it was well done, almost burned... at least any roach droppings and pieces would be well cooked and hopefully sanitized. My salad came out late but was ice cold, large and had plenty of dressing. Since it was uncooked, I was a little concerned and honestly, I did sorta rake through the lettuce to make sure there wasn't anything moving in the box. It passed inspection so I went ahead and ate it. It was good for what it was. My giant slice of well done pizza was just fantastic. YUMMY and delicious. I was ready to be unhappy for all the above listed reasons but it was just wonderful. The crust was thinner than paper and I expected it to be a sloppy mess but it was crispy, there were just the right amount of toppings and cheese and sauce. It was well seasoned and very, very good. So, I recommend a weekly pest control visit, proper training along with a thorough cleaning plan/ schedule for the entire staff and I could return with confidence and enjoy my wonderful expensive slice of pizza even more than I did. Great pizza and friendly service. My office is right around the corner so we go to Pink's for office lunch and stuff. I accidentally ordered 20 ounce drinks instead of 2 liters and their manager gave me 2 liters at no additional cost. Pizzas are always great. Love the bada bing and the duece. Stopped in for a dine-in pizza while killing a little time in the neighborhood. Got a 12" Big Boss pie, and it was really good. It was a bit pricey but the quality was high (hand-tossed dough and great ingredients) and there was enough left over for another meal later. There is not much seating if you dine in, so coming there with a big group for dine-in is probably not a good idea. If it's just you and a friend or two, it should be fine. Definitely a go-to place for quality pizza in the area. read more

Ordered a pizza with half no cheese and they delivered the pizza an hour and a half later and it was incorrect. Called them and they said that they would send another pizza in 25-30 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later we call them as we received no pizza and the manager said it slipped their mind. Absolutely horrible service - bunch of hipsters with tattoos with a bad attitude. There's a bunch of other places that would appreciate your business. Don't go here. read more

I was not impressed. I will say the people their are very nice. the ingredients are fresh cause we watch them do the prep work for the day while we waited. the pizza is like a New York still pizza, but I did not like the sauce. It was thin, really, really thin. To thin you could not hold it with out it falling over. NY style pizza are to be thin but the foundation should be able to hold the toppings. I would not say don't try it but get a knife and fork. read more

Used to really like these guys, but hope you never get a messed up order from them. Ordered the Double Down pizza (chicken, spinach, tomato with alfredo sauce) one of my favorite pizzas in houston, along with a Chicken Parmesan pasta. The pasta was fine, but the double down was tragic. Had no sauce on it, was cold, and was oddly flat for their pizza. When I called them back, I was told "Sorry you got a bad pizza, there's nothing we can do about it" and was hung up on. Just... bad customer service. read more

I have heard Pink's was so good. I was very disappointed. The crust was fresh but after all the mounds of cheese and good amount of pepperoni, the pizza was one large grease mound. The two workers were extremely nice however, I just did not find anything special or great about this pizza. I won't be going back. read more

I'm starting to realize why the reviews for this location are so all-over-the-map. They've messed up our order several times, and the crust has arrived overly puffy and SUPER soggy more than once. The toppings still taste good, but the cost is so high compared to competitors that the product needs to arrive perfect. read more

Went there for pick up after reading so much about it. First thought after ordering was the price wow very expensive, you do not get what you pay for here. More expensive than stars for the same topping and size. Looking at the pizza it looks just like a papa John's. Taste was also very similar to papa John's. Crust has the same texture and taste as pj. They do not have much room to sit so I guess this location does more pick and deliver. Papa John's pizza at 2.5 times the cost. Pass on this. read more

Best pizza I've ever had! And it's ready to pick up pretty quick. My husband and I had always seen Pink's when out and about. We finally decided to try it and oh my word it is amazing! I've tried other toppings but the pepperoni is by far their best. It's greasy but not too greasy, dough tastes fresh and sauce tastes homemade. I recommend a large because the slices just taste better that way! Once you try Pink's, you will never order another pre-made, ready in 30 minutes pizza again! read more

Came here and ordered the 12" supremo. It came out in about 10 minutes, pretty fast if you ask me. Very yummy. We'll definitely come back. There are a few tables inside, but this place is really meant for pick-up. The staff were nice and friendly, kinda reminded me of being in Austin. read more

Sorry Pinks. I've always had good experiences at your other locations but this one is below average taste for pizza. I was there Sunday night around 8 and I ordered a cheese pizza and a pepporoni. They were both bland, lacked sauce and seasoning and they got cold in a matter of minutes. read more

A classic, both in terms of quality and creativity. Just about everything from the specialty menu is great, but there will always be a special place in my heart for the lazy lasagna, one of the most inventive (and delicious) pizzas around. Living in Rice Military is at times frustrating, because I am just outside the delivery radius for two Pink's locations, but it's always worth a trip. read more

Never been there before, we hopped in for a slice before a night of drinking (next stop Cecil's!) I got the plain cheese slice, husband got the slice with 3 veggies on it. I absolutely loved my slice of pizza, husband thought his was ok. I don't think it's their fault however, ingredients just don't meld well when you add fresh ingredients right before you warm up the slice, hence why I went with the cheese. Slices are 5 bucks but the slice is huge. Would definitely go back. read more

i'm only giving this place four stars instead of five because of the prices. phew!!! and we all thought Star Pizza was a bit pricey for a pie! however, when pink's first opened down the street from me in the heights i kept passing it and thinking "ooh, more food in the heights, i really gotta try that place." i finally did and had their vegetarian pizza and holy snappin' arseholes, margaret, IT IS TASTY!!! the guy at the counter was extremely nice ( i know, after dealing with very un-groovy staff at some of the other non-corporate pizza places around town, it's shocking) and informed me that i could really have any pizza without meat and any combination of whatever delicious veggies i wanted! oh my! which, really, is possible anywhere, it simply depends on how much you're willing to fork up for 12 slices of cheesy goodness. this was also the ONLY place that was serving anything in the heights after Ike hit. they didn't even have power but their doors were open and those smartie-pants people who carry cash were able to get something delicious, hot, and covered in dairy products when the power was non-existant and allen parkway was still completely under water. oh yes. you remember it too. all-in-all, it's a winner for the pizza, and now they have a location on west gray too! a good place if you just got paid and have a date with someone who you want to impress with good pizza and the fact that you're spending more than $5 for a footlong at subway on. read more

My husband and I decided that we wanted to do pizza for our wedding, thinking that it would be an easier task than dealing with caterers and paying oogles of money for bland chicken. Upon looking for a pizza place to cater to 100 people and deliver (central Houston) we found out that the task was not so simple. That was until we called Pink's. The general manager communicated so well and quickly. Our pizzas were delivered right on time, and without flaws. Everyone at the wedding was telling us how much they enjoyed the pizza. It really was exactly what we wanted, and we are so happy that we ended up going with Pink's for our special day. read more

Pink's Classic pizza (modified Margherita) is the best pizza I have ever had. Really. Best. It's amazing. It's expensive, yes, and delivery can take a while, especially on the weekend evenings, but it's so worth it. I'm in the process of moving and am going to now be outside their delivery area.
