Really disappointing experience. Got pizza here once about a month ago and thought the pizza was really great. Came back again tonight and I cannot believe how sad these pizzas look. Did they run out of cheese? Even the sauce was spread so thin. I'm not sure how this passed the quality test. We ordered gluten friendly crust and even that tasted different than last time (I think maybe they gave us the cauliflower crust instead?). I didn't complain to manager bc I had my kids with me and they were ravenous and wouldn't have been able to wait another 10min for a new pizza, so we just sucked it up and went with what we got. I love mod pizza, it is a great build your own pizza place that gives a substantial portion size (unlike its competitor, blaze) on a crunchy New York style pizza crust. They cook the pizza in a big pizza oven right in front of you. So good! Service does take a while but you get really good pizza. read more

This location has had a MAJOR upgrade recently and I'm so happy about it! My husband and I eat here quite a bit as it's not only close to our place, but they offer plant based meat as a pizza topping and is the only pizza place we've found that has this as an option. In the past, the customer service was HORRIBLE. There were so many past instances of the employees behaving negatively towards us, giving attitude, making rude comments and one time they even turned us away 30 minutes before closing because they "already put everything away" and didn't want to bring it back out. That last instance almost turned us off for good. BUT in recent months, they've completely changed the entire staff (seriously, we eat here so much that it was very obvious for us to notice this) and their current staff are absolutely wonderful!!! Everyone is so friendly, polite and kind. They're always welcoming and happy to fix any mistakes they may have made. It's seriously so refreshing and we now LOVE this location!! So anyone reading this who had a bad experience in the past, I encourage you to give them another shot! We're so glad that we did because we not only love the food here, but we now love the staff, too! Thanks for making the necessary changes to provide a better customer experience, MOD! Love the concept. Love the ingredients. Love the taste. It's hard not to love something you create! It's hard to beat a Mod pizza. Way better than Blaze and all the other wannabe build your own pizza places. And if you can't decide on how to build your own, their menu looks good as well. I usually get a pizza. Sometimes I get their salads which always taste fresh. Rarely order their cheesy bread, but it's great too! Service is usually fast but if you happen to arrive during a busy to-go rush, it might take a bit. I've seen them with at least 20 pizzas waiting to go in the over (it was already full). Great place if you like to build your own pizza! This place is usually pretty busy, but they don't take long once you build your pizza. They will add unlimited toppings (can ask for more or less of a topping) and the crust comes out nice and crisp. I've never noticed the many different dips they have but we had the ranch and Sriracha ranch. I like to get the regular MOD size pizza and take any leftovers home (they have boxes already out)! I loveeee their nugget ice, and their lemonade is one of my faves! They do serve some draft beer and wine to choose from. They have several table/seats and a few booths inside, and an outside seating area too if it gets crowded inside. Plenty of parking since its right next to a shopping center. Not to be confused with Dom Pizza, which is definitely not for submissive types. I don't really think this is such a great chain, but I do like it and it is tasty and I've had better versions of these self-service create your own pizza thingies, and this one is a little too generic and corporate. But having said that, it's actually better than a lot of Texas pizza, because it's a state that just doesn't make good pizza, so overall I would toss it a 3-star rating. read more

Today was a treat yourself kind of day. Boyfriend loves pizza and I typically don't have dairy included in my daily diet, so I said why not! I've never been here before but I knew it was an assembly line style of restaurant, which I don't mind but I honestly felt super rushed. I didn't have my typical flow like I do at Chipotle or something, so I didn't really get the chance to actually see what I really wanted because I was again, feeling rushed the whole time. It wasn't a welcoming experience ordering and my biggest concern was that some of the ingredients were mixed in with others and from someone who has a lot of food allergies, that's not good. I wanted BBQ sauce but the pesto sauce was spilling over in to the BBQ and for me, I'm very allergic to pesto sauce because it's pine nut based and I have a nut allergy. I also had a jalapeño that got on to my pizza, which it wasn't bad for me but that's not the point I'm trying to make. The area where all the toppings were was just really sloppy and seemed disorganized. Food- The food itself was amazing. The dough is made fresh and all of the ingredients were really fresh as well. The crust was a perfect combo between mushy on the bottom part and crispy on the crust part. Besides everything being fresh, you can choose as many toppings as you would like without being charged an arm and a leg like you normally would be when ordering specifics from different pizza places. I also think the portions are really good for the price. Service- I don't expect top notch service at this style of restaurant by any means, but I was hoping that when I got up to the line to order my food they would have at least asked me if I've been there before (given the style of place it is) or if I knew how it worked. I will say though, there was a very nice gentlemen that came by and removed our dirty plates and he was super friendly, upbeat and quite pleasant. Other than that, not really impressed. Overall- not a bad place, but I probably wouldn't go to this location again. This place is kinda like the Subway of pizzas. You go in and there's a bar of options you can choose from, your sauce, your cheese, your toppings. You can choose either a Mod pizza or a personal pizza, which is slightly smaller than the Mod. You can either build your own pizza or choose any pizza options. The Mod pizza is $8 and it's an unlimited number of toppings, which is amazing if you like a lot of toppings. Toppings greatly vary as well! Honestly the flavor is just that of any other pizza place. I personally like my pizza a flatbread type of pizza, which I don't think you can personalize the dough part, but idk, I did not ask since it seemed thin enough. The staff was courteous, and the pizza was ready in less than in less than 5 min. I will probably return if a friend wants to go, but I will stick to dominoes for the most part. read more

I called for a refund and they said they would give me my refund and it's been 30 minutes and I still haven't seen the refund posted to my card. This is Yummy place for me to eat before I get my Nails done at Heights Nail Spa! This time I opted for a Caspian pizza (the mid size), and I couldn't finish it. I did, however, really enjoy the wheat crust, the barbecue chicken, the Gorgonzola, and the barbecue sauce. It's like a Chipotle but with pizza! They pop it in the oven right after you pay/order, and it's usually ready within 5-7 minutes. I realized this because I paid, went to the bathroom, and by the time I filled my cup at the soda fountain, my pizza was ready - and it was done!
