Dropping Pink's down to one star after they messed up the delivery yet again two nights ago. The dry crust and average quality isn't worth the flubs anymore. Probably won't order from Pink's again. Charging extra for sauce instead of including it with the dry cheese sticks (just a tip- when you make cheese sticks, put cheese on more than 75% of the bread) and then not putting it in the box is unacceptable. Finally, it took them over an hour to deliver us cold pizza that tasted like it had been sitting out all day (my guess is that it actually took the delivery guy too long to get here and the pizza got cold). My husband oredered their new gluten-free pizza for me yesterday. I think it was contaminated or not gluten-free. I got sick right after eating it. Dear Pinks Pizza-- please PLEASE make sure to educate all your staff on the proper handling of your gluten-free items. There cannot be any cross contamination with any of your regular items.. not even baking the pizza on the same pizza pan without thoroughly washing or not washing hands after touching any wheat products or using the same utensils or surfaces... people do get really sick from even the mininal amounts of gluten! Service is awful. Pizza is average. I live less than a block away and have eaten there 8-10 times. I learned to wait 20 minutes longer than the order taker tells me before I go to get my pizza . Three times now they either completely lost or forgot my order, so I have to wait while they made my pizza. Tonight they lost me for good. I called in a 2 pie order, was told it would be 25 minutes, showed up 35 minutes later. Guess what, no pizzas, not even a record of my order. The girl behind the counter acted like it was my fault after I pointed out that this has happend before, she then asked me to come back or wait for another 20 minutes. No thanks. I ordered a pizza and some mozzarella sticks using Pinks online order system just after 7pm on a Thursday night. The website mentions that delivery typically takes about 40 minutes, but can take longer than an hour during peak times. That should have been a red flag for me right there- they are essentially saying that when they are busy you are going to get inferior service and that you should expect it. Why make excuses? Why not just hire or schedule an adequate amount of drivers and other staff during peak hours rather than admitting that your delivery times are going to go to hell during peak hours? At any rate, I finally called them an hour and fifteen minutes later (I was already eating pop tarts at this point because I was so hungry) and was told that my pizza was "out the door" and should be there soon. Twenty minutes later my order finally arrives- the pizza and the mozzarella sticks weren't even hot (or even warm) at that point. I had to put both in the oven to make them even remotely edible. Adding in the time my food had to spend in my oven, I waited about 2 hours from the time I ordered until the time I was actually able to eat my pizza. This wouldn't even be acceptable if it were the best pizza in the world- which Pink's is definitely not. The pizza itself was okay, but I prefer the $1.29 frozen pizzas available in the frozen food section of the grocery store. It was definitely not worth the thirty dollars I spent or the two hours I waited. Stay away from Pinks if you value your time and money. read more

Since the pizzas here are about $20 you would think the owner could afford to properly staff this store. I came here to pick up a pizza two weekends in a row and had to wait 30 minutes over my 35-45 minute estimated time. So an hour. ONE HOUR for a pizza. They had ONE counter girl who was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. All three phone lines were ringing..and ringing and ringing and there was a line out the door. I heard her tell customers several times that delivery was at an hour and 45 minutes (it was POURING outside). She was super busy but never looked *too* frazzled and managed to stay calm and continue joking and hosting the customers. The cooks were totally silent and focused on their work. I saw the drivers come in, pack their deliveries and take off...everyone was totally focused and just trying to make the best of the bad sitch. The crew here works great as a team. It is also comprised of pretty good looking people...some sort of abercrombie good looks and urban outfitters combo. The pizza is great. Fantastic actually. I just wish they could get their staffing together and give this crew enough people to have the store work correctly. Store is spotless, has great music, a lot of good magazines and you can byob. Ordered a pizza at 9:55 with a delivery time of 50 minutes, so that makes it what? 10:45? Called at 10:55 and was advised there was only one driver and that she was on her way. Mind you, I'm a mile and a half away. Tried to call at 11:05 to check on the status and got a message that the place was closed. Stood outside in the freezing cold waiting and pizza finally arrived at 11:20, lukewarm at best and not nearly as good as the past two times we got delivery. Wish they had been more realistic with the delivery time because we would have made other arrangements for dinner. Hell, I could have come pick it up, the store being so close. At the very least, the phone lines should stay open until all deliveries are made. I honestly wasn't even sure if our order was coming or if I should just call it a night and go to bed. Probably should have just bagged it as our 1/2 Bada Bing 1/2 Classico tasted like an afterthought. And the breadsticks were just like discarded crusts. Pink's - your game isn't so great that you can jam your customers up. Thanks for ruining what should have been an awesome pizza/Netflix night in. My favorite pizza place in town. The Bada Bing and This Guy are killer. They always show up within 30 minutes, too, which is really awesome. Even on a Saturday night. My ONLY complaint is that any time I have ordered a pizza even remotely customized, my order has always been wrong. Every time! I'll order an extra topping, and it won't happen, which I'm not going to lie, is frustrating, but the pizza is so good I just shrug it off. Though it must be karma, because they once accidentally gave us a liter of coke, so I consider it fair game. So good! As long as you are getting an entire pie, everything on the menu is great. I once made the mistake of ordering just a slice and it was no where near as good. Love to give them 5 stars because the food is good, however it is never consistent and often the order is wrong. I will get toppings I didn't order and they will miss the ones I did. The breadsticks the first time I ordered them came as just plain bread with marinara sauce, next time same breadsticks came with butter and seasonings on top. Also the first time I ordered the salad, the little container was nicely filled with a pleasant amount of each ingredient, it was so good. Next time, a week later, same salad and very disappointing, container not full at all, ingredients were pretty sad as well. Your costumer shouldn't roll the dice, WE PAY THE SAME EACH TIME, GIVE US THE SAME EACH TIME! Also I have ordered items and then go to pick up and they are out of said items.... ugh. i was very disappointed with this place. i live not two minutes from the location and it took more than an hour for my pizza to arrive. the driver called me to say that he couldn't find parking and suggested a side street that he could park with his hazards that had little traffic that is right by the gate. then a woman from pink's called and said that he wasn't going to come up and that i had to go and get my pizza and that bringing it to my apt was a courteous that they don't usually do. WTF? you don't deliver pizza? needless to say, i will never order from there again. my pizza was cold and average at best. the mushrooms weren't even cooked. and my coke was hot. don't waste your time. read more

Pinks stinks... I have been getting pizza from pinks for years but will never go here again. I ordered a pizza from the Midtown pinks pizza online for delivery. An email followed immediately with an etd of 1 hour. Just past the hour I called the store to check on my delivery. After 10 minutes of waiting for someone to answer the phone I was told the pizza was out for delivery. 30 minutes later, pizzaless and hungry, I called again to inquire about my pizza that was by now cold. After 15 minutes someone answered the phone. She was rude and unapologetic about the whole situation. She said the driver could not get a hold of me and did not make the delivery. I never received a call or text. Nonetheless, I have ordered from them 50+ times and never had a driver be unable to enter my apt complex or have to call me. They know the gate code. All that was offered to me for my troubles was canceling my order. Please do not make my mistake and order from anywhere but here! read more

The only reason This is even getting two stars is because the nice girl with the blue hair that tried to help me despite how difficult her manager was being. First I ordered a large pepperoni and pineapple pizza. When I went to pick it up I was handed what I thought was my pizza but when I went to my car and opened it they had givien me the wrong one. I went back inside to tell them what happened. The front girl got her manager. I didnt get hee name but she had straight short black hair and never have I, in my whole life received such awful customer service from someone, let alone a manager. She had a tone and a look on her face like she could not be bothered. I wasn't even mad that I got the wrong pizza just wanted to get the right one. But this lady was so rude to me and made me feel so uncomfortable I even heard her yell at one of the staff members for messing my pizza up. When I got the right pizza after about 15 minutes of waiting she shoves it at me and said with an attitude "Here" then quickly turned and walked away. The girl with the blue hair apologized to me and gave me a free slice coupon for inconvenience which I appreciate but I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone because of that manager. Over all staff seemed nice and pizza tasted great. my favorite local pizza in houston. they have some unique combinations that will please your palate. their dough is perfect, not to thick, not too thin. their sauce is the BEST. i can't quite put my finger on it, but it's got a different flavor, i love it. their pizzas are pretty large, which is good, cause you won't be able to stop eating it! my favorites are "that guy" and "bada bing". their salads are also good. i like that you can order an entire pizza for take out or delivery, or you can stop in and enjoy a single slice. The staff is always friendly, the owner supports other local businesses which i like. it's not the cheapest pizza in town, you will pay a few dollars more here, but you are getting quality pizza, not cookie cutter chain-restaurant pizza. they also give you a generous amount of toppings, and they offer some upscale topping choices for the build your own pizza. definitely worth every penny. read more
