Two women that work here were extremely rude and unwelcoming. It seemed to be the point. They started speaking in Korean to each other and laughing. Very mean. I will just shop at Valley Fair mall for skin care. The women in Bloomingdale's are always knowledgeable and kind. This type of racist treatment is sad in Silicon Valley.

So when my mom dragged me to her friend's new store, I told my dad I would be back out in 5 minutes. Instead, I was there for quite some time, and walked out with 8 different clothing items and a new necklace! This was definitely a first, as I really liked a lot of the clothes here, and the owner did such a great job picking out items that fit me really well. I probably would have walked out with more if I could afford it, as I wanted EVERYTHING! Such cute and wonderful quality clothes handpicked from Korea, I walked out with dress pants for work, capris for the rest of summer, fun tops for work and casual wear, and a light long cardigan that goes with just about everything! There's also lots of cute accessories, and the other side of the store is filled with great makeup from Shiseido and more! A definite one stop shop! I'm a little scared to give away my secret, as I've already gone back to get some more cute pants and wearing a comfy pair right now! The owner of the store is incredibly nice and has a great eye of picking out things that fit the person's body really well! I'll be heading back again soon for some fun fall designs as well!

Mostly large super soft (really really soft) sweaters and sweater-dresses. Very unique an pretty, they don't have more than 2 pieces of each model. The adorable girl working there allowed us to touch and try even though we told her we probably would not buy as we were just in lunch break checking out the merchandise and seeing what is fashionable in Japan (my colleague is Japanese and confirmed that everything is imported and that is current fashion. She also said the prices are high but reasonable if you think about being imported directly from there). Very adorable boutique, starting by the yummy name!

A woman picked up the phone, I asked her to confirm the store's business hours since it is the New Year holiday weekend. She said "I will text you if I feel like opening for business today" then hung up. No greeting when picking up the phone or common customer service sense. Wow. If the woman answers the phone was an actual staff member then she needs to get some training or get fired. But if she's the owner then shame on her to treat her customers like that. Disrespectful and rude. Obviously this store doesn't need customers, doesn't need business.

It's a cute boutique offering California-made items such as pottery, clothes, skin care products, jewelry, art, and more. The store is nicely organized and their items are neatly displayed. A table with pottery near the entrance caught my eye right away. I also enjoyed checking out the flavored salts and oils for cooking, room diffusers, wall art, and jewelry. I was surprised to see they carry the wonderful Osea skin care products as I didn't know they were made in California. I ended up buying a ceramic spoon rest, room spray, and a tiny gold "diamond" ring. Their prices were reasonable. The store owner rang up my items and was very friendly and nice. I will definitely be back to shop here again.

Lol oops! This particular day we were walking around and discovered this cute little store!! I thought these mixed drink bottles were so cute. I had to take a picture!! For 10 or $20 you could buy one of these along with a bottle for your friend or as a cute housewarming present!! They had different sizes, different flavors and different mixes that went for everything!! They even had a fruit punch, one with just fermented, dried fruits inside! I really like this idea! Store had a bunch of other little odds and ends as well as some local soaps, candles, clothes, and baby items and some interesting maps or posters that showed different astrological signs as well as were certain vegetations grow within the state or even the time of year!! I'm not much of a gardener, but I would love to get into it! I also don't have the space but I liked the posters! I also thought I took a picture of the poster, but apparently I forgot! It was still really cute though! The lady in the store was very welcoming and friendly and if you check on the app, you get a discount with your purchase! So I'll have to save that for next time! I definitely wanna come back here and buy little stock for presents for friends and family!

It's probably the best bet to get a gift that is cute and unique but you want it to lean more towards being western and not too kawaii and anime. Think of gifting a punny keychain or cute Jellycat versus a Chiikawa plushie or anime acrylic if that makes sense. Meaning that it's probably easier and maybe more acceptable to get a slightly more normie a gift here than it is elsewhere. As you can see, I'm learning what it's like to touch grass and re-integrate into human society. There's a good number of plushies, Jellycat and unique ones like a pink fairy armadillo mole one, tote bags and socks, nice range of jewelry, lots of California themed goods if you're looking for souvenirs that aren't mega generic, and they have a lot of other items as well. As with the quality and high regard some of these items have (Jellycats are NOT cheap), it can be a bit pricier, so make sure that you shop around and check prices elsewhere and that you actually truly care about the person you're getting stuff for and it's not a forced obligation one (family member you're ugh with or coworker Secret Santa that you barely know). Maybe a couple cute things I had my eye on, but it wasn't really for me (speaks volumes about me), but I can see how a store like this works in a pinch if you're gift shopping.

The shoe selection is carefully curated - and by that I mean that you'll only find higher-quality footwear, but also that your selections are going to be limited. For the men's shoes, there very limited choices for dress shoes, needed for my work, and I'm on my feel for a lot of the day. In fact, on a recent trip there really only was one pair of Eccos that would have worked. There are more casual, non-athletic men's shoes, and a larger selection of sneakers like Hoka. They have an okay rewards program - you get a point for every buck you spend, and when you accumulate 300 points then you get $20 off your next purchase. Essentially it's about a 6.7% rebate, and it hooks you back in to spend even more money! Be aware of the expiration dates of the rewards, however. Look out for brochures or emails with a 15% coupon as well.
