I was in a car accident yesterday and HPD had my car towed here. I arrived to retrieve all of my…read morebelongings in my car because the car is very damaged and I couldn't grab everything at the crash site. I pulled up and was greeted by a nice uncle who asked what I needed help with. I told him what I needed and he asked if I was registered driver and if I had my license and claim # from the insurance company for the representative to come and evaluate. I had all information and he invited me in to talk to the front desk. I walked in and the lady at the window was very polite and asked for all my paperwork and once I handed it to her she called for the drop off vehicle to come pick me up to take me to my car. I filled out a small form which took 60 seconds and then told to sit outside and wait for the car. Super simple - Super easy - no fuss. I waited outside for less than 2 minutes and then the car arrives. The young man driving was really nice and once we arrived to my damaged vehicle he offered to help if I needed any but I declined because it was only a few bags of personal items. He helped me load my things into his car once I packed up everything and he dropped me off right at my car in the parking lot and even helped me unload as well. Overall it was a super simple process, everyone was pleasant and easy to talk to. All of these other negative reviews are probably people who are stressed and unhappy with their current situation and putting that on the people who work here. My advice - treat and talk to people with respect and you might get it in return. If not, at least you did your best and whatever negativity people aim at you it's probably on them. Not you. Aloha.

Didn't inform us that from 6pm-6am there is a $15 overtime charge and we got here at 6:12pm. Could've come earlier if they informed us that there would be an upcharge. They had also yelled and honked at us to move on the other side of the road, which we were trying to do after noticing that a large truck had turned into the lot. Like maybe have some patience or what. The blonde receptionist and buzz cut haired big guy were just so rude didn't even treat us like people. After a nightmare with AAA and their contracted tow trucks, I went thru GEICO who sent Tip Tows…read more Keoni was the driver and he literally arrived 2 minutes after I hung up with GEICO. He was super professional, shaking my hand and introducing himself. He hooked up my little car on the flat bed so carefully like it was his own car, and he did it so quickly. He used a flat bed tow truck (not the other type that drags your car) and towed my car to the dealer. I followed behind him and he was a great driver. I know most of the time you can't choose which company shows up for your car trouble, but after having to deal with some of the questionable shenanigans with other companies/tow yards, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you choose Tip Tows if that's available to you. On a side note. If HPD calls a tow truck and you also call AAA, the HPD contracted truck will probably get there first, so you'll have to pay for that tow up front,

I was pretty far location wise and no other towing company was able to help me. Despite the location Charlie helped get me and my car home safely! With his experience, I trusted him to tow my range without a flatbed and the entire trip home went smoothly (even on the freeway). So even if you need your luxury vehicle towed, TRUST CHARLIE! Although it took up a lot of his time he drove slowly and cautiously to ensure no accidents happened and didn't just rush to get the job done.
