They came once to do a grooming after I had to leave about 3 messages on their machine to get them to call me back. You never get a live body and Steve, the groomer, doesn't manage the calls -- his wife does. So he came once and did a nice job and then I asked to be on a regular 4-week schedule. "Sure!" he says and off he went. Four weeks later he never showed up at the appointed time and he never called. I called the business 3 times and just got the answering machine with the wife who promised to get back to me within 24 hours -- yeah that never happens. It's too bad, he does a nice job but if you can't reach the business and they don't show up when they are supposed to, what's the point. Here I am committing to a regular grooming schedule and they just can't be bothered to answer the phone or have the courtesy to call and apologize when they don't show up! read more

I have two large a golden retrievers and am willing to pay top dollar. Aussie Mobile no longer services my area and my pet is REALLY stinky. I had been using another groomer for several years who recently sold their business. This was a good time to try mobile grooming. Steve and Tracy who own Pinky's Mobile Grooming are great. Tracy who I scheduled Mandy's apt was very friendly and helpful in setting up a time. Steve who does the grooming came to the house on time and showed me the truck where he does the grooming. I took Mandy to the truck and left her in great hands. He did a beautiful job grooming my little Lhasa Apso. I was very happy that she seemed comfortable with him. He even gave her a little treat when finished. So kind. I am very pleased to have found someone I can trust to take care of Mandy's grooming needs and I look forward to a long relationship here. read more

Pinky's is the best, It was really great to talk to Tracy about what I really wanted for my 2 pups, and boy, did they deliver, they took their time getting to know my anxious dogs, who honestly haven't been to a groomer in quite awhile because they hate water, and hate being picked up to get into the tub. So, they took time to say hello, and gave practice pick-ups on my really anxious sheltie. They texted me and gave me a pic from inside the van as they were working on them. Made me feel really at ease. When they were done, they were beautiful, smelled great, and best of all they were relaxed, and made new friends. What a treat from getting a dog that hates you and wants to get away from the grooming place as fast as they can, or worse won't get groomed at all, or they used a muzzle on her. The BEST and ORIGINAL mobile groomer in OC...I love Pinkys and so do my dogs!! Steve arrives and takes the lil stinkers out to his pristine, professional van. Meanwhile, I can continue my life uninterrupted. And like magic, happy, clean, fresh smelling lil doggies run back in to show off their new do! Tracy, Steve's wife, is the office end of the biz and is always professional and friendly; returning my appointment inquiry calls that night. She always works me in, even if I can't set a regular schedule. They are popular, so don't expect to be served the second you call. Go to one of the crappy groomers at the big box pet stores if you want that...but be ready to pay the same price for some dingy teenager that was just taught how to wash a dog and burn your poor pet under the dryer or cut it's lil ear or even worse, drop your baby off the table and let her escape!! Or get barked at non stop by the other dogs there (and catch something from them!!) After experiencing THAT, I will NEVER go to those guys again! It's Pinkys or nothing for my precious babies!! I never have to worry that my babies are scared and left unattended...there's no drama or stress in getting them in the car and having them join a bunch of other caged barking dogs in a hot "salon". It's so easy and costs the same when you factor in the hassles and gas!! And he KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!! At first, I would stand there and talk to the dogs while Steve worked, but I quickly saw that was unnecessary as Steve really loves dogs and the dogs know it! I think they enjoy bath day and the pampering! Which is great, cuz back in the house, I have kids and a biz to handle. Seriously, Pinkys was the first and they know the ropes. Don't get fooled by the new bargain coupon taking mobile groomers who have no clue what they are doing. Unless you like your dog to look like it has the mange!
