The anesthesia will very likely be out of pocket cost, but it was worth every penny! Now for the rest of my review: After experiencing horrendous care at other OBGYN facilities in my more local area, I was first terrified to change to this location for an IUD procedure but I was recommended it by a friend. The doctor called me ahead of my procedure to answer any questions and he was super kind over the phone making me feel so much more comfortable. Day of the procedure there was a bit of a wait as it was filled with appointments. But the waiting room was nice as we all got to watch a Netflix show to pass the time. Once I was called in, the staff were very nice and very efficient to get me ready. And the anesthesiologist was so funny my nerves were completely settled before they put me under. Next I remember being fully dressed and they guided me to a low lit room with comfortable recliners that had such a peaceful ambience. The nurses were kind to answer my questions I had about how the procedure went while I was in that room which was promptly followed by the doctor who did my procedure. She came in to ask how I felt and how I was doing and I just felt an overwhelming sense of care and compassion at this facility that I've never experienced before anywhere else in medical care, I nearly cried from how happy I was. (That could have also been the after effects of the anesthesia but the emotions were still genuine). I was sent home with a little bag of overnight pads and information on my IUD device. My pain levels after never got above a 2/10, and they sent me home with a pain meds prescription for the following few days to address any cramping I might feel. I cannot put into words how thankful I am to this facility, the staff, and the doctors that made my experience here incredible, and comfortable, and safe. I don't care how long of a drive it is for me, I will always only go to this place for OBGYN needs in the future.

This isn't entirely their fault but I really wish it was more normalized to ask if it's ok to have a doctor of the opposite sex for your reproductive health care. Because I was uncomfortable to be thrown into a room for my consult with a male doctor. Not his fault, he was great and very professional... I just personally have a huge trauma issue with it and I would of appreciated being asked first out of curtesy because I'm sure there's millions of other woman with this request as well. Even though the male doctor I had was professional and very knowledgeable on everything... I told him twice I did not want to proceed with any treatment or testing at this time. And that my husband and I want to focus on his testing first as it was much easier and cheaper to do for now. But regardless of being asked twice in person, I was also email about it twice. Feels very pushy and weird. After my husband had his tests done it took 2.5 weeks, 4-5 phone unanswered phone calls, 2 voicemails and 1 portal message to get a response.... Absolutely not ok. And finally when they did upload his results to the portal (which is horrible to navigate btw)... it gave very vague information to where they told him he had to come in and make another appointment just for them to explain that he was fine.... Overall: - The client portal is so hard to use and not helpful at all. - the environment for me felt pushy and disrespectful - the communication between staff and client is HORRIBLE - completely disorganized staff This is a very vulnerable field of medicine. And as the client you HAVE to feel safe and comfortable with all the things that go along with fertility and reproductive care.... At the end of the day I did not feel that even slightly. Will not ever go back to them.

After five years, fibroids regrew--which is not uncommon. I went in for imaging every 10 months or…read moreso to keep track of fibroid growth and I'm glad I did. Around the five year mark, they found adenomyosis, which is a common side effect of any gynecological surgery. It appeared on my surgical sites. This isn't the doctor's fault, but it's useful to know and to get imaging for it in the years after surgery. Problem is, when I went back to Dr Winner about a 2nd myomectomy, she encouraged me to do the myomectomy--which could have further increased my Adenomyosis issue. Mine was caused by surgery. The risk of more Adenomyosis was high with another myomectomy. Also, the iron testing she does before surgery is very general--I was anemic (at 24) when her test said my iron was fine. The Adenomyosis was making me anemic (it bizarrely hoards iron in the uterus). At no point did doctor winner advise me that there were other options for treating the Adenomyosis, like HIFU and UAE--both don't require traditional surgery and have great results for fibroids and Adenomyosis while preserving the uterus and eliminating the other health issues from Adenomyosis. This isn't fair to patients. I don't regret my 2020 surgery with Dr. Winner at all, myomectomy was my only choice with a massive fibroid and Winner was 100% the right choice. But when I complained of surgical site pain at my belly button, she didn't inform me that this could be a common side effect of the surgery where bits of endometrial lining could be accidentally left there--causing, essentially, endometriosis. There are interventional radiology treatments that are outpatient for this common side effect. Finding out that crucial context on my conditions had been left out by Dr. Winner in consultations was... not trust building. Dr. Winner should give patients more well rounded advice even if it means they don't choose surgery with her. She's amazing at getting big fibroids out with virtually no scars, doing endo excision, etc., but if you have post surgical issues or adenomyosis or fibroids that are 5-7cm and under, you may want to seek other consultations with interventional radiologists. Ultimately, I traveled to another state to get uterine artery embolization to kill off the fibroids and adenomyosis, which is performed through a single vein. No scars, no need for healing up my abdominal wall, and very little risk of causing more adenomyosis. 1.5 months out, my stomach has shrunk, my inflammation is down, my cycles are cycling and I feel great. I'll go in for cryo treatment of the belly button endo soon. --But I had to do extensive research and find other options all on my own. It would've been the kind thing to do to refer me to other practitioners so I could get the results I needed--elimination of adenomyosis and reducing risk of more adenomyosis sites.

So I'm sure people can imagine how traumatic that is when you go in for a scan and they dont find any movement of heartbeat. After getting a D&C and a few weeks later, my husband and I discover we are pregnant yet again! We are both elated and extremely anxious about this baby, so we want an early ultrasound. I call 3w and they are able to get me in within a few days, which is almost unheard of for a doctor's office. Anyone who has had an ultrasound, especially after a loss is very aware of how terrifying it can be to get another scan. Even though everything was going well, you still never know until you start feeling the baby moving. 3w, unlike any other clinic I've been to, puts in every effort to make your visit feel like you're at home. They keep the waiting area beautiful, with classical music playing and water if you're thirsty. Their bathrooms are spectacular and feel like you're at a spa, and the artwork on the walls are all handmade. In the ultrasound room they even put cloud coverings up on the lights! For someone who has heard bad news while looking up at a plain, sterile ceiling, its extremely comforting to have something calming to look at. The ultrasound went beautifully and everything was healthy and Dr. Sue answered all my questions during and after the scan. We were never in a rush and the ultrasound was free! Since we are now at the time where we lost our last baby, and I had no signs last time, I have been having some major anxiety lately. Since a lot of my morning sickness is starting to lessen, but before any consistent movements from the baby, there isnt much in the way of consoling yourself. So anyway, today I wake up in a panic and dont 'feel' pregnant. I call up 3w today and they were able to fit me in for a scan the same day!! Having the peace of mind that I have somewhere to go if I'm panicking already relieves most of my anxiety. Of course, we go in and we immediately see the baby is moving around and just fine! Nervous pregnant moms will understand the relief to see that baby jumping all around! Things are now much calmer and just having the clinic as a resource for non emergencies is the best thing a pregnant woman could ask for! Everyone at the clinic is extremely sweet and never made me feel stupid for being anxious. Just having them as a source makes pregnancy that much easier, especially if you've experienced a loss. I honestly couldnt have asked for a better experience either time.

If you're trying to get an appointment be prepared to wait. Calling the office feels like trying to get into a country club where you're not on the list, and they definitely want you to know it. Every interaction is coated in entitlement and condescension, like they're doing you a favor by letting you seek medical care. Case in point: I was 16 minutes late due to a car accident that was right in front of me and called ahead to let them know. Their grace period is 15 minutes and I was met with cold stares and a turned-away appointment. I can't speak to the care because I can't get past the velvet rope. If you value compassion, empathy, or even just basic decency at the front desk, maybe look elsewhere. Or at least mentally prepare for a Hunger Games-style battle just to get in the door.
